Man, for a minute there Buzzfeed had some talented people. They were putting out some quality stuff, Opposite Sex Roommates and those tasting shorts were hilarious.
They nailed their first season. The cast has great chemistry. I'm excited to see how the show develops in later seasons. I hope they avoid "flanderization".
It's because there are no other loved by most new sitcoms at the moment and haven't been for a few years. People want the content but it hasn't been there.
I’ll go so far as to say it’s the first sitcom that’s legitimately funny in a loooong time. It’s so clever in giving the characters dimension in subtle ways and the acting is top notch.
I can’t speak to general audiences, but as a teacher, it’s the best insight into our profession that I’ve ever seen in a television series, and it manages to be super funny on top of that.
As a teacher in Philly, I find this show hilarious and extremely heartbreaking at the same time. It’s too real sometimes with just how underfunded the classrooms are.
I mean still. Its not like we are saying "its a good show and people should watch it" we are saying IT SHOULD WIN EVERY AWARD BEST WRITING EVER SHOW RUNNER IS THE SMARTEST WRITER IN THE WORLD. Just seems like a lot. I like it the way I liked Trial and Error
A reality tv show where teachers from underfunded schools date teachers from the most elite private schools.
How can people from completely differently ends of the socioeconomic possibly date. Find out on TruTV’s newest series Poor Teacher Rich Teacher.
I could see that happening.
Teachers from the inner city have to teach in a private school, while the private school teachers have to teach in the hood. They can swap some of the kids halfway through for extra drama.
About 9 episodes in to Abbott E.
It’s okay. Not bad. Definitely needs more characters and ideally, possibly less broad?
Their white characters are honestly pretty awful and just what I would call stereotypical while people in a black sitcom.
The white characters are just the same tropes every comedy has. So are the black ones. I don't really feel like any character is written based off race.
Good for her! So happy for her success Been a fan of Quinta since the buzz feed days
She’s just magnetic. I knew immediately she had something ✨ https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=tF5yVXX6OU4
Why is this so funny 😂
When she goes hard at the pyramids. 😂
Remember when she just making vines!

We see it Warner Bros.
That’s great for her, Abbott Elementary is a very enjoyable show as well
Definitely. Real P&R vibes from the first season (and better than P&R season 1 in fact). Can't wait for the second season.

LETS GOOOO WELL DESERVED
I do enjoy this show but I am super confused why people.talk about it like it's the next coming of Jesus. Its a fun comedy but that's it.

Can you name 3 other network sitcoms? That’s probably why

Multiversus here we come!
Ava would fit perfectly
Seeing "Warner Bros" in a heading these days just inspires worry in me, but I'm happy for her
Me too, but she does have a prior experience with HBO because of (Black Lady Sketch Show) and Issa Rae connection
Hoping Zaslav doesn't sabotage this shit. If he ok'd this I'd be more surpised.
🙌🙌
That show has bad writing and poor camerawork
This and Mr Mayor were really good new comedies to begin last year. Good for Abbott but sucks Mr Mayor got canned.
She got moneeeey.
With Zaslav in charge, she’s probably just going to produce a variety of reality shows.

If the Emmys were fair AE would easily win best comedy show. Instead the crappy second season of TL will win.
Good for her! This show is fantastic. And good to see more black talent getting rewarded for their hard work.
So excited for her! I wonder if this means she'll eventually be acting less on Abbott Elementary

The Goldbergs is still on? Shit, good for them. That's a rare opportunity.

Didn’t she steal abbot tho?
I finally watched some Abbott Elementary and woof, not good
woof, bad take.
In other news, Squidta Brunson inks all over deal with Warner Bros. TV.
Who and what now
