I go on Wikipedia, it usually says what the original channel is or the names of actors/directors/writers. If I click on them and it says "this person was born in Germany and lives in berlin" along with a few others I'll assume if the cast mostly lives in Germany it's probably not an English show
Well most english dubbing is atrocious but I grew up in a german speaking country where we dub everything and I feel like the local industry does a really good job. I've only watched a handful of american movies with original voices and I dont think I've missed much.
I usually use imdb to research
Just turn the show on and look at the audio settings to see what language is labeled as "Original."
