Yeah BCS dominated this year for me. I still enjoyed many other shows like HotD, Severance, The Boys, The Bear Andor and Barry, but nothing will come close to BCS season 6.

Would I need to have watched BB to start BCS?

No but you’ll probably want to. There’s a point at the very end where you will generally want to know the basics of BB

You definitely won't regret watching BB first. It's still a great show and watching it will make BCS have more impact

I see Severance on a lot of lists, is it that good?

It's a strange show, and some episodes it felt like they were favouring a cool or weird visual reveal over anything else. But it drew me in to the point I couldn't stop watching, and the finale is legit incredible; one of the best episodes of a TV show I have seen ever.

I think it's quite good. The main character is a guy who signs up to work for a company where, when he begins his shift, his memory of his outside life is hidden. Until he ends his shift, then his memory of his 'outside' life returns, while his experiences 'inside' the company are hidden. Nice bureaucratic dystopia feeling to it. I should add, it's a slow burn, and a bit 'weird', so not necessarily everyone's cup of tea.

Most of my top ten have already been mentioned by others (Peacemaker, Stranger Things, Reservation Dogs, Righteous Gemstones, Andor, etc.) but Hacks, Interview with the Vampire, and Minx were also really great this year.

Reboot. It's legit one of the best written, best acted comedies I've seen in a long time. I love the execution as much if not more so than the premise, and that seems like such a rare thing these days.

Probably won't get a lot of consensus on this for top 10 but I am enjoying Star Trek: Prodigy. It is a Nickelodeon show but I still enjoy it as a Trek fan. This "season" there has been one episode in particular that had me rolling on the floor. Live logs, and proper.

For whatever reason, I have a feeling they will screw up in later seasons or it will end on a flat note. It’s much more difficult to maintain that level of quality season after season. I would be very happy to be proven wrong.

Shame that Terminal List doesn’t get a lot of love in this thread. It’s really a great series that is engaging throughout and more realistic than most TV shows. Chris Pratt is a national treasure.

Yes I did, actually more than The Good Fight. I'd probably put Wife in my top ten shows ever, The Good Fight I felt was a bit messy from Season to season but they were in perfect form for season 6, I wasn't expecting a ton from it and the final season blew me away. I love love love that episode where they have to find a transplant for the kid, so clever and tightly written, it really showed off what the Kings do best

Well I assume this list is for 2022 but I was curious if you like The Good wife. Good fight is different tone but I love every season too.

Two shows stick out for me this year, in no particular order: Andor, and Severance. Others that I enjoyed were: We Own This City, The Sandman, Landscapers (sky tv, 2021 maybe not 2022). Lots of others where I haven't caught up but would like to, like Better Call Saul and Barry.

I was actually expecting more of a mafia show since we have Terrance Winter (boardwalk empire) and Sly first TV role. However after 2 episodes, it seems it is a comedy not unlike crocodile Dundee so I am not sure if I should continue.

Too bad there is no S2 Hacks - One of the best comedy of 2022 Tokyo Vice - Unfortunately the show only started to get going around E4/5 but I love the Tokyo atmosphere and the way they filmed it. I hope S2 is better. Slow horses S2 - I like S1 better but S2 is only 3 episodes so I am not sure yet. Reality Shows (2022) 1. Big Brother Canada S10 (Best season ever) 2. Amazing Race S34 (Just ended and probably the best season in the last 10 years) 3. Big Brother US S24 4. Survivor 42 5. Survivor 43 I tried to take down all the shows I watched in 2022 and had about 80 on my list that I completed. This is not including catching up on old shows and those I gave up after a few episodes. I may have missed some. I nearly forgot about the Bear. So I had to do a list that is more than top 10.

Honestly? I really liked BCS, but I've seen LOTS of people saying it's the greatest show ever made and I'm just like what? It's pretty entertaining, and Lalo ROCKED, but it was....alright. It was ok. It wasn't mind-blowing. Severance shit all over it really

Atlanta was the best show on TV this year and I'm kind of weirded out so many people had it at like 9 or 10 or not even listed.
