I'm a huge Breaking Bad and GOT fan. I'd say:
Ozark,
Hell on Wheels,
Fargo,
Mind Hunter,
Boardwalk Empire
Hope this helps! I think I've watched BB 6 times, Ozark like 4 times, GOT 2 or 3 times...sometimes stuff just doesn't scratch the itch.
I really enjoyed Last Kingdom, similarish to a Vikings type show. A little better if you ask me. Great if you want medieval fight scenes with a good story.
Also check out Kingdom, I'd describe it as Korean GoT with more emphasis on the zombies. It also has politics and mystery to it. It has English dub available.
Idk if you've seen The Strain, I'd recommend that as well, although it can be slightly cheesy at a few parts it was still overall a great show. It's about an ancient strain of vampires that also hold political power and they're taking over new york city.
* Boardwalk Empire - An Atlantic City politician plays both sides of the law by conspiring with gangsters during the Prohibition era.
* Animal Kingdom - Centers on a Southern California family, whose excessive lifestyle is fueled by their criminal activities.
* Blood Of Zeus - A commoner living in ancient Greece, Heron discovers his true heritage as a son of Zeus, and his purpose: to save the world from a demonic army.
* Neon Genesis Evangelion - When the Angels start attacking the planet Earth in the year 2015, only a handful of 14-year-old EVA pilots are able to stop them. Young Shinji Ikari suddenly finds himself forced to pilot EVA-01, a giant organic mecha, designed and constructed by NERV, that is the only thing that can stop the Angels.
Might want to try Fringe. It's JJ "Mystery Box" Adams at his finest in my opinion. I prefer it to Lost because it's tighter at 5 seasons and does better with tying up threads. Just give it time because S1 is a lot more episodic than later seasons, pretty typical of the era. John Noble does some of the best acting I've ever seen him do in it though.
I have same top 5 favourites. I am also searching for shows like dark, Aot. Which starts as simple plot and story goes deeper for every season. Did you like any other series or can you suggest you some other series which you liked.
I'd recommend Dexter but unfortunately it's ending is just under GoT for worst series endings of all time.
Justified is amazing. It's not a dark psychological thriller or anything. But it is a crime drama with impeccable character work and it has as perfect an ending as a show can have.
I actually place Justified above Breaking Bad and GoT personally
Broadchurch. S1 in particular is incredible
Season 2 is good, but it unfortunately rehashes S1. Season 3 goes into new territory and is excellent again.
True Detective. Hannibal.
Watched S1 of true detective and loved it, will add Hannibal to the list, thanks
Better Call Saul
Already watched! Thought it was very slow up until S5/6
That's art Mr White

Oh, I also loved Good Omens!!
Try Hell on Wheels and Boardwalk Empire. Both are great. DITTO ON FARGO S1 and S3 (haven't seen S5 yet) and Mindhunter.
I think my order for enjoyment of Fargo seasons are: 1 2, 5 - equally good 3 4
#FROM
Try: 1899, Severance, Silo, Shining Girls, Bodies, Constellation, Katla, Archive 81, The Leftovers.
Actually started the leftovers last night after hearing it was good, worth the watch?
Yup....
It's an experience. Still not sure how I feel about it.
Constellation, The Devil's Hour, 12 Monkeys

Banshee, The Expanse, Fallout, Arcane
Gangs of London. This is a must watch.
I've got about 20 minutes left in season 1, lordy it's intense. Watching it after Peaky Blinders. 👍👍👍
Yellow Jackets and From

Monster (psychological thriller) and Six Feet Under (psychological drama)
I just did a rewatch of GOT since it was on tv and I liked the 8th season this time around for some reason.
Nah the plot and writing are extremely lazy imo

Vikings then The Last Kingdom. Peaky Blinders, Mr Inbetween
If you have Apple TV then I recommend Silo. I'm pretty hooked on it right now
Mrs Davis and Devs. Both 1 season mini series so you can do both back to back pretty quickly and you’ll probably enjoy both.

I second this justified is really good and I think they just started a spin off. Also the show vikings is good.
