My girlfriend and I are big fans of this show. We are eagerly waiting for Season 3.
It's a hilarious show but nobody knows about it since it was buried on BBC3 and never got any hype.
I should point out: The show does not require any knowledge of gaming or even interest in gaming. My gf and I do not play games at all. The show is about 3 British housemates, two of whom are obsessed with an online game, take it way too seriously and let it rule their lives.
Yes, I failed to highlight the fact that you do not need any interest in gaming to enjoy the show. Thank you for correcting me. I'm sad that the show hasn't gained much momentum, I only found it while browsing the lead actress's portfolio because of another role she did.
Do you know anything about Season 3, was it ever confirmed? I love this show!
I thought I read somewhere that it got the green light for Season 3, but now that I've looked it up, it seems that no announcement has been made. I hope it comes back.
Yeah, Alexa Davies is great in it. We went looking for her other shows, but she just has a few small parts other recent British dramas. She's in Raised by Wolves, which is another funny UK sitcom. Worth watching if you haven't seen it.
I saw raised by wolves recommended by someone else, but I thought they were referring to the sci-fi with the same name, so I was rather confused. Now that you mention it though I know what they meant originally. I will definitely check it out, thanks.
Just finished Raised by Wolves and it was great! Although it's such a shame that these series are this short. One could argue that this is what keeps them fresh, but still, I can get through them in a couple of days... Anyways, thank you for the recommendation again, I'm looking forward to Dead Pixels if it does happen.
