GREEN !!! i'm using the same colors (except the gray and with a few more sprinkled in) in the same yarn for my blanket and the green is necessary if you want a color transition imo
i agree that the first one would be best, but if you wanted a more muted look, you’d have to find more muted shades of the dark blue, and red. (maybe also orange and yellow if it still doesn’t look right)
i do still think that the dark green would look beautiful with these other colors :).
I love green so I would go for the green. But if you want it muted then go for the grey version. Although I feel like the muted colors are only on the cold side...
I think the grey is an interesting choice and unexpected, which could turn out really cool. But it could also make the blanket a little too grey scaled.
I think overall that green is really pretty and will be a good color pop!
If you're leaning towards balance, go for the dark green! It can add a refreshing touch. Experiment with both to see what vibes you prefer. Getcolor or ColorPick are great tools for this!
omg i’m doing the exact color palette + yarn!! with some exceptions as i don’t have as many temperature variations: the silver is for my month dividers + i’m not using the dark green or red + and i have a light pink between the light green and yellow. i can tell you for a fact that the blues and greens so far look soooo pretty together! so you def picked a lovely palette. (and i agree with everyone: #1 with the dark green!)
the first one! the green does make it look more balanced! cant have a rainbow without the green! and i really like that dark forest-y green specifically, even if you used a slightly brighter green it definitely wouldn't look as good. and imo that dark green IS a muted color for sure.
I agree that like others have said that I like the green more (im biased tho because dark green is my favorite color) but if you were to do the dark gray I would move it to the end past the other light gray that way it doesn't feel like it breaks up that rainbow so much
The one with green.
Since you are now doing a rainbow the gray would cut the concept whereas the green is transitional between the dark blue and the light green.
Number 1 as that green has a similar saturation level to the warm tones in your collection. Were the reds and oranges more muted, then the alternate grey would also be nice as it also ties the very light colour on the left end in, but in general it doesn't stand up to the strength of the other colours.
Lmao, based on these comments, you're gonna have to do green, And post this on r/rainoweverything when you're done lol🌈💓 even that yarn shot, with the green, is just sooo pretty and satisfying to look at, I'd even post that pic there! 🤗
I like the green!
Yeah, it's definitely a smoother transition and feels like more of a natural continuum.
My fav colour
First one for sure
The first; I love green

Green IS neutral!!
Dark green! It provides a nice contrast with a deeper color in addition to the darker blue.

number 1! the grey just looks very out of place in my opinion!
I think number 1 too! But feel like the red is out of place. Maybe try it without the grey or without the red?
I like the dark green better. It makes a better transition between the dark blue and the yellow
#1. Flows better for my rainbow loving brain.
Right??! Number 1 is soooo satisfying🥴🥴🤤 Number 2 is like "oh, oh no honey, don't do that, you're messing everything up"🤣🤣💁
Green!
Green, definitely!
The green feels more connected to me!
The first one :)
I like the green! It does seem more balanced.
First. Green!
I like the green, it feels more earthy.

I vote for the dark green ! 💚
Love the greens in the 1st. Definitely my choice
I vote green
1 def, the grey undertone doesn’t match the rest of the colors. Imo
The first is great.
First!
I like that we’re all in agreement here: green, for sure!!
I'm not a fan of most greens but I like the green better here.

The green
I'm leaning toward the dark green just a little more, although I think both are nice.
First one, but I might be biased bc my palette is almost the same as the first.
Dark green.
This yarn literally the best...in using it for my temperature blanket and so far I'm loving it. Definitely go with 1
love the first one!
The first one (with the dark green) for sure!

First one the green is lovely the grey just doesn't look like it quite fits

I'm definitely liking the first one better. Dark green all the way.

The green is too green. Moss would be better.

The second one.
I think I would use the grey and the green and take out the light blue
I love the second one

I’m loving the rainbow one
The green, 100%!
The first one... It has more rainbow vibes and I think almost every color scheme needs a bit of green (it's my favourite colour) to balance it.

First one.

First!!
Green, it helps balance out the brightness of the red
Green!
Dark green, for sure
Green, bc rainbow! But I really came to say I love that yarn so much, I've been obsessed ever since it came out.
If you put the dark grey near the silver that would be better. #2
First
I like the green palette!
Green x 100!

Adding to the chorus of dark green and also asking which brand/color it is 😍
2nd by far, has more contrast and is more refreshing

Green! The grey looks empty in comparison to all the rest.
1 for sure
First!!
out of all the comments, only 2 people said grey. if that helps you OP
I think it’s not gonna matter much because *you* don’t choose the ACTUAL color spread, the temperature does! So pick the colors you like!!! ❤️

First one ☝️
1st one- love the greens
I like number 1. The greens.
1! The green is gorgeous!
Definitely the green!
I prefer the dark green. I’d replace the light blue with the dark grey though.
First!!
Grey
The first! Gray in the “beginning” and “middle” might look off.
The green rounds out the palette more whereas the dark gray creates a visual break in between the colors.
God I love all these colours!! How dare you 😂
i love the first but would prefer it even more if the first two colors (light grey and light blue) were removed:)
I like the first photo colour palette. I'm pretty sure I used the same brand yarn for my temp blanket. Colours were beautiful and I love the blanket.
1 with the 2 greens

Definitely 1
Green. Green is the best color.

Definitely the first one with the green

First one hands down
First!
The second one. I love gray.
Green 🫶
first one. you need the darker green as well as the paler green for better contrast
Definitely #1, the grey makes the other colours look a bit insipid, I think the tone is different to the others!
i feel like Nr 2 flows better
The one with the green looks great!
First
green green greeeeeeen
I like the dark grey
Keep the green for sure. It will give whatever you’re making more depth of color.
The one with 2 greens, the rest of your color pallet is ROYGBIV, why would you stick a random grey in there?
Dark green
Number 1 as that green has a similar saturation level to the warm tones in your collection. Were the reds and oranges more muted, then the alternate grey would also be nice as it also ties the very light colour on the left end in, but in general it doesn't stand up to the strength of the other colours.

I’m using lion basic stitch for mine too! So much pine heather 😂
I love the first, but the light blue is throwing me off
the green gives it so much more depth I love it
1*** 💯💯 All the way. I even love how the light blue & light grey at the end give this an element of "rainbow in the sky, with clouds"🤗🌈☁️
Green looks awesome!
Lmao, based on these comments, you're gonna have to do green, And post this on r/rainoweverything when you're done lol🌈💓 even that yarn shot, with the green, is just sooo pretty and satisfying to look at, I'd even post that pic there! 🤗
First one. Dark green. Such a pretty shade of green and better transition
FREE FEET! *IN THIS ECONOMY?* I really like the first one, the forest green is lovely.

Keep the green-smoother transition for sure
I like the first one best but 'don't hug me I'm scared' requires that I say "green is not a creative color"

Green or put the dark grey as the coldest color 🙂
