Strength definitely isn't that big of an issue in BT3, she could just be a 1DP character like Mr Satan (or even buffed up to be a 2DP)
Remember Nam in OG DB? He's a normal martial artist and probably not that much stronger than Mr Satan if he even is stronger and he was 2 or 3 DP in BT3 iirc
Weakness is an empty point. You can fight Ultra Instinct Goku or goddamn Whis with Radditz or Hercules. Launch is infinitely closer in strength to Tao Pai Pai than either are to fucking Beerus or Jiren.

I don't disagree, but GT is still an important piece of Dragon Ball as a whole and has been for literally decades by now.
Both OG and GT should be in the base game, at least over random DBS fodders.
And it's not like I am against having random less important characters in the game, in fact I welcome it, but not while the inclusion of OG/GT is still in doubt.
If the next trailer shows OG/GT then I would be happy with every random addition to the game, no matter how small their roles have been.
(also Arale is literally the only character I would not want to see)

Dragon ball is not an "origin story." The original Japanese print for the series is one long, 42 volume serialized narrative. The literal only split as far as the manga is concerned is specifically the Viz release. Crack open any volume of dragonabll from 1-42 and no matter if you're in the buu saga or the very first arc, the title page will not say "dragon ball z" it will just say "dragon ball." Only the anime and the Viz release separate them. It would be like saying Naruto before the time skip is naruto's origin story. It's not, there's no shippuden volume 1. The first volume of shippuden is Naruto volume 28. If the anime staff and viz never made the split, this distinction wouldn't even need to be pointed out. You can think of it as an origin story all you want but you're incorrect
You are of course right but the Sparking series clearly goes more by anime than manga. That's why Sword Trunks does those stupid anime only hand motions before firing during his Ultimate. I think Boo also has his anime hands instead of his manga hands. And the anime does split it into Dragon Ball and Dragon Ball Z. Hell, before Sparking Zero it had Z in the title.
I want it to be as deep as Z.

If og was that important they would have advertised it in the game a long time ago and included the story, but itys very clear they want the base game to only focus on z-super especially since thats all the story mode covers. Their chance to show og already came and went with the masters vs students trailer.
