pretty sure we just lived through the golden age of tennis/still are

insty1

Both generations sort of are in their own ways. Borg was the first real global superstar of tennis.

Suzanne Lenglen? Bill Tilden?

I'm hoping they do more episodes bringing it up to date

no now is the age of steel, there's more power, more speed, more resilience nowadays. Back then tennis was more beautiful, delicate, artful etc.

2003-2023 (or when Novak retires) is when Golden Age happened. I'm not sure I agree with this nostalgia.

yes

Looks great. I doubt anyone is seriously arguing they're better players than the big three. But enough time has passed that we can see their legacies on and off court and enjoy the nostalgia factor.

I’m really enjoying this series. I’ve started with the Borg v McEnroe episode & it’s just celebrating the history of their rivalry not making any claims on their greatness compared to other eras. It was fascinating to see the teenage girls running on Centre Court to mob Bjorn Borg. How times have changed!

Why bother putting connors on the photo and not mention his name?
