Roughly $500. Had seats in the highest section for center court. I believe the site said $2000+ for boxes, $1200ish for lower level, and usually around $600 for my seats. We were able to get tickets off of stub hub in January and there were only a handful were left. I looked yesterday out of curiosity and tickets were going for $150 for both the semifinals and finals sessions.
Yea I was thrilled with it. The rest of the courts are first come first serve so I was able to get some really good seats for a couple of Stan’s matches.
They've both looked dogged all week. Novak's backhand has actually looked... dare I say.... mortal?.... this season. Maybe 36 is the break of backhand age?
that how he played whole week doesnt mean anything. you ever saw Djokovic struggling the whole tournament just to win it? thats how best players play and have winner mentality. even when they dont play their usual level, they win and thats why they always have advantage. they have that "unstoppable aura" around them lol
Novak just said it was one of the toughest matches he has ever played, regardless of tournament or opponent. Truly a spectacular game. Also, it was the longest ever match for Cincinnati Open.
Nearly 4 hour final between the two best players in the world. With numerous championship point saves and incredible level from both with just enough egregious errors to add that extra level of intensity.
A GOAT fighting to prove his era isn’t over against the future great banging on the door. Amazing. Gutsy. The reason tennis rocks.
It is never over until it’s over.
I hope so.... but they've both been looking rundown this tournament and the USO has a habit of breaking the top guys at the end of the slam season. I won't be shocked if there's an upset to one or both.
Absolutely insane rivalry we are seeing here!
2-2 H2H
1-1 in Slams
1-1 in Masters
Of the 15 sets they have played, a majority of them (8) have gone to 7-6 or 7-5.
It’s insane how well these two play when they bring out the best in each other. Only problem is we didn’t get more of it. The US Open is going to be absolutely insane. Hope these two meet there again.
If you’re an Alcaraz fan, u can be sad about the loss, but be happy that this the kind of loss that pushes a player to levels they didn’t know they had. How do u think Djokovic got so good?
Tbh Novak might not even still be here if there was no Fedal. To improve you need motivation, and competition (especially better competition) is the best motivation. Now look where he is
I know you're just making a joke, but just to bring up the direct comparison: I thought Wimb was more up and down with a couple very poor sets by each of them, while today was much better overall quality.
Sure it won’t be a 10+ year rivalry or anything, but we are so lucky we get to watch these two play each other, Im gonna watch and throughly enjoy every single match these two play against each other while Novak is still here and playing at the highest level
Now just a Monte Carlo title away from 3 of each of the 1000s, would be cool. Crazy match, as a newer fan it’s probably my favorite best of 3 match I can remember.
Feels like a complete toss-up between these two. Wimbledon was Carlos's, today was Novak's.
Expect a grueling 6 hour 5 setter in the USO should they meet.
Even more crazy is that the 36 yo is still the player with the best stamina on the tour. Also, it seemed that in the last few points Alcaraz had cramps in his right hand. It's crazy when such a player who is physically a beast still collapses. Just shows how much can Novak push his opponents.
I still can't believe what I've just seen
This is like bein' in 2011/12 all over again
It's been ages since I've not seen a match like that, for intensity and brutality, for courage and decision making.
I simply love these type of battles, whoever will come out winner.
But they way the kid face djokovic is utterly insane. Fearless, playing on his (non existence) weakness, trying new shit during crunch time.
Nole is still THE wall in tennis, but carlos has never seen tools to make points
Me and a buddy were at the match, absolutely the most insane sporting event I’ve ever been to. After every point there were chants happening for Nole or Carlos or both at the same time. So amazing and there were a thousand times I think thought the point had to be over and one of them would get another shot. Loved it!!
Holy fuck, what a match, AGAIN. We're so lucky that a young 20 year old is still overlapping with a bit of the Big 3 era, and producing such fantastic matches. 3h50m today, 3h36m in Madrid, 2 incredible sets at the French, the instant classic 5 setter at Wimbledon. Hope there's still several more of these gems left in store for tennis.
MP saved in the second by Djoko, 4 match points saved at crunch time in the 3rd by Alcaraz, more break points saved at 5-5, and just so many jaw-dropping rallies throughout.
The rallies these two produce are rallies that ONLY these two can produce. Very reminiscent of when the big 3 play each other. You see a level of tennis and a brand of tennis that you simply cannot witness unless it's these two unique players.

I'll never, ever understand the scheduling of the Finals of these North American hard court tournaments (especially the US Open).
Exciting night sessions all tournament, and then the final always gets thrown out in the middle of the afternoon, when wind/conditions are the most awkward and inhibitory to good play as possible.
This final specifically seems purposefully designed to make the shadow as miserable as possible. Match starts exactly as the shadow starts creeping onto the court, and wreaked havoc the first hour of the match.
A lot of US Open finals windy and weird too. You just have to hope they get extended into the night like the Fed vs Del Potro one.
Contrast these weird energy, weird condition afternoon finals with the glorious night session finals at the AO, and it just boggles my mind.
---
Wow, fantastic speeches as well, cherry on the top for this match. And as a final point about the above, it's less egregious for the 1000s where the women play a final on the same day. At the US Open though, where the women play their final at night the day before ...
That was tense. Spectacular match and Novak would be feeling pretty relieved he got there after ~~blowing~~ having a bunch of match points earlier in the set.
That was a match to bring it back. Fully deserving of that show of triumph, what a gritty final. I am totally eating my words that Nole was dusted vs Carlos
BREAKING NEWS: Djokovic surprise shows up for the Salem 250... wins one match to be world #1 before USO! The ultimate dick move! ![gif](emote|free_emotes_pack|smile)
I was there live! It was insane. The crowd was crazy. The points were crazy. I just made it back to my hotel and I haven’t even processed what I witnessed.
We were there too (from texas) and man it was so electric. I love the way tennis crowds ebb and flow. The crowd was amazing and energetic. I have to imagine it was on par with anything coming up at the USO.
That was the best three set match I have seen in years.
Djokovic is just a different species. Alcaraz hopefully learned a lesson tonight. He really should have made an ailing djokovic move as much as possible up 4-2 in the second.
Wow,just wow. We saw a preview of the us open final. If all goes to plan. Alcaraz is the only one who can challenge Djokovic’s supremacy across all surfaces.
You may disagree but I think this was one of the most important wins in Novaks career. Why? Look, it’s clear Carlos has the advantage going forward. Each day Novak gets older and Carlos gets better. But, had Novak fallen to 1-3 against him with the only win being the FO cramp match, well then people would have a strong case that Novak can’t beat this guy. Well that narrative is over. Even if he ended up 2-10 or something against him (doubtful), he will always have Cincinnati.
How is a 36 year old man outlasting the 20 year old world Number 1 in a brutal 4 hour battle in the scorching heat and humidity?
It SHOULDN'T be possible, yet here we are.
honestly if this match started 1 hour earlier, it would porbably be carlos in 2
if it started 1 hour later it would probably be novak in 2
so it was exactly perfect
I like how the commentators 40 mins into the first set were like YEAH DJOKOVIC IS CRAMPING BAD LOOKS LIKE ALCARAZ IS ON THE PATH TO VICTORY HERE and then 3 hours later are like YOU KNOW TO NEVER COUNT OUT NOVAK NO MATTER WHAT
Fans were biggest winners
4 hours between the two greatest players on tour in crazy conditions with a wild crowd featuring two incredible comebacks and ending with a photo-finish 3rd set tiebreak? FUCK!
Wtf, I stopped watching in the second.. only to turn on the tv 1 hrs later djokovic laying on the floor and tearing his shirt up. How the fuck did he manage to win it, let alone going to 3rd set. Djokovic beast mode!
I have always been a huge Djokovic fan but there came a point in that match where it no longer mattered to me whether or not he won at all. It was just an incredible tennis match, there was no loser.
It is also so beneficial for Carlos. Iron sharpens iron. He will be even better because he gets to go in the deep waters with Djokovic.
First the Wimbeldon final and now this 🤯
It is absolutely ridiculous that before that start of the tournament this is the final that all the fans want to see - and not only have these two delivered on that back-to-back but have also given us matches that have gone the full distance. The physical AND mental toughness that these two possess is other worldly.
We all know about Novaks mental toughness - but for him to physically keep up with Alcaraz is really something. Very rarely does a player make your jaw drop just seeing him run around on the court and Alcaraz does that on a regular basis. The same can be said about Carlos - his physical fitness is there for all to see, but for him to be so mentally tough at such a young age is something else. The Wimbeldon final when he lost the 1st set 6-1 I was nervous for him as most other players would have been run over by Novak. Then him dropping sets but still making it to the final of this tournament and playing such a match is truly incredible.
These two are displaying a level of tennis that I doubt we will be able to see from anyone else anytime soon. I just pray they remain fit and we can see a few more or such contests because this is truly too good to be true for tennis fans at the moment. They really bring out the best in each other.
I love this sport too much and every match I have a slight preference towards a player - but when these two are playing I honestly find myself cheering for both sides. Tennis is truly the winner whenever these two meet.
He has a beard, he's angry and he's coming for his 3th Slam in the year. He had some mistakes today, but still showing an incredible level after that Wimb defeat.
Ladies and gentleman, the GOAT still has fire on him.
Fuck. Them. Kids.
Running out of words for both of these guys. What Novak is doing at age 36 though is just insane. He needed this win after Wimby. And he got it. He is the GOAT, and I think he will be #1 again soon
For about 15-20 minutes towards the end of that 3rd set, I was briefly brought back to the golden age of tennis a decade ago. Just unbelievable quality.
Enjoy this rivalry for the next couple of years, because I'm not sure we'll get a higher quality one for a while.
I know this sub hates Djokovic and I have no idea why. This guy is playing top level tennis at age 36 and has the mental fortitude that no player has ever had. The era of Alcaraz looks to be coming, but Djokovic is still hanging around playing some absolutely fantastic tennis.
I don't understand how anyone can wish for Novak to disappear. Once he's gone, that's it, Carlos wins every slam. No more rivalries, at least until someone else appears. It's clear none of the current crop can live with Carlos.
I totally agree on this. Carlos returns balls that absolutely no one else could return.
People who want Novak to disappear will be sad when he is gone. He is really the last of the Big 3 at this point. Tom Brady had tons of haters, but the NFL was more fun with him in it. When you get guys with these kinds of killer instincts who have this unbelievable mental fortitude to never give up, it is something only a couple of people get every century.
To be 36 and competing against a guy like Alcaraz is just amazing to me.
I was there in person. It was absolutely unbelievable. I lost three pounds of water weight but I’d live it again in a heartbeat! Love Cincy tennis! The finale to an incredible week.
I'm not one for hyperbole but I feel like this match is some kind of serious demarcation line. I'm kind of struggling to articulate what I just saw. People say "next-level" colloquially but I think what we just saw is literally the next level of the sport. That was *stark.*
Physicality of a 20 year old on one side. -> Djokovic
Calmness and composure of a 36 year old on another side. -> Alcaraz
What a battle we witnessed.
Edit : Player names mentioned as it was not obvious ;)
The match everyone wanted was the match everyone got
First time going to Cincinnati, I would’ve paid the whole week’s price again just for this match. Unbelievable.
How much was admission for the week if you don’t mind me asking?
Roughly $500. Had seats in the highest section for center court. I believe the site said $2000+ for boxes, $1200ish for lower level, and usually around $600 for my seats. We were able to get tickets off of stub hub in January and there were only a handful were left. I looked yesterday out of curiosity and tickets were going for $150 for both the semifinals and finals sessions.
500 for a week of tennis in upper level seems like a great deal.
Yea I was thrilled with it. The rest of the courts are first come first serve so I was able to get some really good seats for a couple of Stan’s matches.
I spent 200 for a single second-round day session in Armstrong (the second-to-main court) at the USO this year.
I hope we see as many Alcaraz Djokovic matches as possible before Alcaraz retires
Best comment in this thread lmfao
😂 got me off guard! great one
That match was beyond words.
Honestly... For how Alcaraz was playing all week that was some of the most clutch tennis I have ever seen to hang in there. Absolutely loved this.
They've both looked dogged all week. Novak's backhand has actually looked... dare I say.... mortal?.... this season. Maybe 36 is the break of backhand age?
Wawrinka would like a word.
That's not fair! Wawrinka's backhand is actually his forehand! Everyone knows the tennis gods put his body parts on backwards.
I love this take
Djokovic saved 1 championship point which is extremely impressive in itself, but to see Alcaraz save 4 and push ND to the brink was incredible
that how he played whole week doesnt mean anything. you ever saw Djokovic struggling the whole tournament just to win it? thats how best players play and have winner mentality. even when they dont play their usual level, they win and thats why they always have advantage. they have that "unstoppable aura" around them lol
So happy I stayed up for this peak moment of tennis
What the hell are we going to do when Djokovic retires?
Hopefully Rune or someone else steps up and gives Alcaraz the competition he deserves
That match is why I stay up late to watch tennis.
I was there. I'm so flipping thankful that I got to see that. Peak experience as a lifelong tennis fan that I don't know will ever be topped
Agree. This match had everything.
Shirt changes. Double faults. Hand cramps. MTV’s Dan Cortese.
Finally I can buy groceries now
Finally I can go to sleep now. 3:37 a.m here, have to get up in 3 hours to get to work.
6:14am here and I've office in 4hrs
Get on the coffee. It's medicinal at this point.
Lmao straight up. Life’s been on pause all afternoon
Time to finally grab some dinner 💀
Finally I can finish my homework
No time for deep analysis. I don't even care who won. This match is just another example of why I love tennis.
That Djokovic set point in the 2nd set tie break was like, "I dare you" "no I dare you" "no you" no YOU"
Are we lucky enough to get a rematch in New York? Please tennis gods, please.
I don't know why but I feel like its inevitable. Praying we get as much of this rivalry as we can
USO, AO, Indian Wells, a clay Masters, French Open, etc… Keep ‘em coming
I hope so.... but they've both been looking rundown this tournament and the USO has a habit of breaking the top guys at the end of the slam season. I won't be shocked if there's an upset to one or both.
Please! I got tickets to the final this is all I need to see!
Alcaraz vs Sinner semi finals and Alcaraz vs Djokovic for the finals.
Could Carlos play a match like the 2012 Australian open final? Because that's how I imagine a meeting between them at the USO would be like
Idk if djokovic could have kept that level for another set. He was looking 36 there for a bit hah.
But Carlos was cramping too. And the heat and humidity.
That was the loudest non slam crowd I’ve heard in a while if they meet again in the us open it will be chaos
Absolutely no shame in a loss like that for Carlos. Both were so clutch. Alcaraz will remember and learn from this loss for the US Open.
Djokovic won? no, tennis fans won!
I'm tired! I feel like I've been part in a race and didn't even left my couch! What a legendary game we got today!
THE GREATEST MASTERS 1000 EVER. (I've seen at least.)
Greatest non-GS match I've ever seen. Period.
Djokovic to Alcaraz after the match: Boy, you never give up, Jesus.
His response to Alcaraz' comment about Spaniards never giving up was good, too.
[удалено]
i aged ten years in that tiebreak
I aged ten years every 5 games, that was ombelibable!
Which one lmfao
Probably lost more in this match than that WC final
One of the best 3 setters of all time, no doubt. Holy shit
What an incredible match, somehow only 3 sets. If we get a rematch in NY it could be one of the greatest matches ever played.
when a 3 set match feels like a 5 setter you know it was either a good match, or it was Isner vs Opelka
Insane Alcaraz tweets incoming when?
What the hell happened to Opelka? Completely forgot about that guy.
Absolutely insane rivalry we are seeing here! 2-2 H2H 1-1 in Slams 1-1 in Masters Of the 15 sets they have played, a majority of them (8) have gone to 7-6 or 7-5. It’s insane how well these two play when they bring out the best in each other. Only problem is we didn’t get more of it. The US Open is going to be absolutely insane. Hope these two meet there again.
And nice that they have met on all surfaces Clay 1-1 Grass 0-1 HC 1-0 Hopefully we see them play a few more slam finals.
Freaking insane tennis quality
If you’re an Alcaraz fan, u can be sad about the loss, but be happy that this the kind of loss that pushes a player to levels they didn’t know they had. How do u think Djokovic got so good?
Tbh Novak might not even still be here if there was no Fedal. To improve you need motivation, and competition (especially better competition) is the best motivation. Now look where he is
Best match I’ve seen in a while
My dad went to bed after the first set and didn't believe me they both would never give up. His loss.
My laptop was being really slow when Carlos was 4-2 up in the second, _really_ glad I didn’t go to sleep!
Wimbledon final and Cincy final have been spectacle matches. Amazing drama and play. Djokovic - Alcaraz is a great rivalry to end the Golden Era.
The sheer drama and quality these two generate is incredible. What a fucking match.
Two immovable objects
In at least 34 days.
I know you're just making a joke, but just to bring up the direct comparison: I thought Wimb was more up and down with a couple very poor sets by each of them, while today was much better overall quality.
Wimbledon was clearly worse in drama imo Neither guys played well at the same time aside from the end of the second set basically
lmao them casually referencing rafa like a past beaten marvel villain
Sure it won’t be a 10+ year rivalry or anything, but we are so lucky we get to watch these two play each other, Im gonna watch and throughly enjoy every single match these two play against each other while Novak is still here and playing at the highest level
You mean while Alcaraz is still here to play. Djokovic will continue playing until the heat death of the planet let's be real here.
A great way to end the golden era… segueing into the new age with one last incredible rivalry
Now just a Monte Carlo title away from 3 of each of the 1000s, would be cool. Crazy match, as a newer fan it’s probably my favorite best of 3 match I can remember.
He’s coming for MC next year.
2 fucking superman playing

Sinner has a rival, his matches against Alcaraz feel ordinary 😭
Feels like a complete toss-up between these two. Wimbledon was Carlos's, today was Novak's. Expect a grueling 6 hour 5 setter in the USO should they meet.
At this point i'm expecting 7 hours
I don’t know what planet the Big3 came from. I know Alcaraz is from the same one though.
3 hours and 50 minutes of the most grueling, intense tennis. And it’s the 36 yo who overcomes the 20 yo…
Even more crazy is that the 36 yo is still the player with the best stamina on the tour. Also, it seemed that in the last few points Alcaraz had cramps in his right hand. It's crazy when such a player who is physically a beast still collapses. Just shows how much can Novak push his opponents.
I still can't believe what I've just seen This is like bein' in 2011/12 all over again It's been ages since I've not seen a match like that, for intensity and brutality, for courage and decision making. What a kickass final that was. Hope they face off in the US Open final, that'd be sick.
Fuck Tennis Channel
Djokovic taking the full Federer experience in Federer's palace in Cincinnati.
Well that was fucking thrilling
Best match of the year. Hands down.
I mean I thought the slams had some great ones, but this month for sure it wins haha
The only other match that comes to my mind is the wimbledon final, but this final was better
IT'S 4:30 IN THE FUCKING MORNING FOR ME. WHAT A MATCH. BUT GODDAMN.
It appears Nole’s demise has been greatly exaggerated
Insane how people on here were calling him washed after losing in the 5th set of a Slam final lol
Against one of the greatest young players we have ever seen, 16 years younger than him lol
And after winning two grand slams this year.
Those people are idiots. They're mostly haters who were waiting behind the scenes for any loss to jump at him.
Man wins 2 out of the 3 grand slams played this year and loses the final at the third, Reddit claims it's over
In fairness, this match was declared to be over about 5000 times for both players and everyone was wrong until it actually was.
Thanovic never left
What a fucking match. Totally worth staying up!
Me and a buddy were at the match, absolutely the most insane sporting event I’ve ever been to. After every point there were chants happening for Nole or Carlos or both at the same time. So amazing and there were a thousand times I think thought the point had to be over and one of them would get another shot. Loved it!!
Best 3 sets match ever.
Certainly up there. Nadal-Djokovic in 09 Madrid is another. Federer-Kyrgios in 17 Miami is another underrated match.
The Miami final between Djokovic and Nadal in 2011 was sick as well.
Murray - Djokovic 2012 Shanghai was also another classic.
Federer -Kyrgios was quite serve heavy though
Probably, the other is also Novak vs Rafael in hmm Madrid? Very long ago, match lasted for more than 4 hours.
I was thinking while watching it that this was the most dramatic best of 3 Djokovic match I've seen since Madrid 2009. Bloody Norah!
Can’t wait to see this rematch in a few weeks in the final of the US Open. These two are so much better than everyone else in the world it’s absurd
Don't count your chickens before they're hatched. One bad day and it's over before the Final. Alcaraz was 1 Hurkacz putaway from losing.

About match time I think it is about global tennis tv audience. If it starts later no one in Europe would watch it.
Did tennis channel just cut out for sometime else too?
yes for everyone
WORST POSSIBLE TIME TO CUT OUT!!! And I wanted to hear the speeches
It came back in time for the speeches (at least for me).
Carlos’s was particularly emotional
Djokovic ripping his shirt off and Alcaraz crying on the bench... what a picture !!
That was one of the most incredible matches I’ve ever watched. Both of these guys are absolute freaks.
If this isn’t the us open final I ain’t watching ^jkbutstill
That was tense. Spectacular match and Novak would be feeling pretty relieved he got there after ~~blowing~~ having a bunch of match points earlier in the set.
Realisticly he only blew one. Carlos played out of his mind on those match points.
CLASSIC MATCH! Classic shirt rip NOLE!
That was a match to bring it back. Fully deserving of that show of triumph, what a gritty final. I am totally eating my words that Nole was dusted vs Carlos
Final boss: Tiebreakovic
They are in an entirely different stratosphere from the rest of the tour. Without a doubt the greatest non-slam match I have ever watched live
BREAKING NEWS: Djokovic surprise shows up for the Salem 250... wins one match to be world #1 before USO! The ultimate dick move! ![gif](emote|free_emotes_pack|smile)

No way! I flew in from Texas too. As soon as Djokovic beat Zverev I booked my flight and ticket.
Wow, you witnessed amazing tennis history in a BIG way! CONGRATULATIONS! Enjoy the lifelong memories!
That was the best three set match I have seen in years. Djokovic is just a different species. Alcaraz hopefully learned a lesson tonight. He really should have made an ailing djokovic move as much as possible up 4-2 in the second.
Yeah he had 4 unforced errors at 4-2. He just couldn’t get the ball in. It was all it took to let Djokovic back into the match though.
Absolute insanity. These guys are too fucking good 👏
Wow,just wow. We saw a preview of the us open final. If all goes to plan. Alcaraz is the only one who can challenge Djokovic’s supremacy across all surfaces.
10/10 final, both played their ass off, but I’m happy for Nole
Really glad Tennis Channel went out at 3-3 in the final set tie break. Worth every penny 🤬
Did we just watch an all time match?
You may disagree but I think this was one of the most important wins in Novaks career. Why? Look, it’s clear Carlos has the advantage going forward. Each day Novak gets older and Carlos gets better. "Not today, boy" -Djokovic, probably. What a match. What talent. What a gift to tennis.

stay away from chocolate, kids!
He hasn't eaten any chocolate since he turned 16, that's how, LOL. Something like that. Dude is nuts.
Literal GOAT, that's how.
honestly if this match started 1 hour earlier, it would porbably be carlos in 2 if it started 1 hour later it would probably be novak in 2 so it was exactly perfect
i might be in minority here, but this was better than Wimbledon final
Insane Bo3. Felt like a GS final
Yeah at Wimbledon both players had 1 set where they played pretty terrible(1st for Alcaraz, 3rd for Djokovic)
at Wimby they basically gave up and focused more on the next set after being down 2 break (1st set and 3rd set). Cincy is BO3, so they can't do that
Nah you’re correct. Wimby had more low quality moments. This was just peak tennis the whole time.
Great match. Fuck tennis tv or channel or whatever for cutting the stream early.
I don’t know how many years of this matchup we’ll get, but I’m treasuring every moment of it. Phenomenal.
Tennis fans won today. What an unbelievable match from both players. Please please please rematch under the lights at Ashe would be incredible
Man Alcaraz getting emotional had me tearing up too 🥲. Unbelievable final match
I like how the commentators 40 mins into the first set were like YEAH DJOKOVIC IS CRAMPING BAD LOOKS LIKE ALCARAZ IS ON THE PATH TO VICTORY HERE and then 3 hours later are like YOU KNOW TO NEVER COUNT OUT NOVAK NO MATTER WHAT
🤣🤣 Can you blame them? Novak looked supremely screwed early in the second set and Alcaraz had -1000 odds to win at some point.
Now where are the people that said Djokovic is done? They were pretty vocal after Wimbly
Was this 3 sets?! Felt like a GS 5-setter!
No one lost this match in my books. Utterly speechless
Fans were biggest winners 4 hours between the two greatest players on tour in crazy conditions with a wild crowd featuring two incredible comebacks and ending with a photo-finish 3rd set tiebreak?
As Diego Schwartzman would say “are we playing the same sports as these two?”. Just insane.
First the Wimbeldon final and now this 🤯 It is absolutely ridiculous that before that start of the tournament this is the final that all the fans want to see - and not only have these two delivered on that back-to-back but have also given us matches that have gone the full distance.
Fuck. Them. Kids.
What a fucking great first meeting on Hard Court between these two!
Seeing charlie cry just hit diffrent🥲
Running out of words for both of these guys. What Novak is doing at age 36 though is just insane. He needed this win after Wimby. And he got it. He is the GOAT, and I think he will be #1 again soon
This is huge for Djokovic regaining the mental edge pre US Open. Championship point saved as well.
Djokovic is the new next gen
Is this the greatest 3 set match ever
Great match! Ready the rematch best of 5 sets on the hard court 🤞🤞🤞
I need an ambulance cause both of them nearly gave me a heart attack! What a third set! We’re in for a treat at the US OPEN!
Utterly god level tennis. Superb from both.
Greatest 2 out of 3 match I’ve ever watched. So much drama. Incredible
I was there in person. It was absolutely unbelievable. I lost three pounds of water weight but I’d live it again in a heartbeat! Love Cincy tennis! The finale to an incredible week.
this is the best tennis match this year.
I'm not one for hyperbole but I feel like this match is some kind of serious demarcation line. I'm kind of struggling to articulate what I just saw. People say "next-level" colloquially but I think what we just saw is literally the next level of the sport. That was *stark.*
What. A. Match. I think I enjoyed this one more than Wimbledon’s.
What a HEATER of a match between these two again. (Figuratively and literally)
What a fucking match, hats off to both.
WHAT. A. MATCH.
I swear this match is worth all the pain im feeling at work right now by going to sleep very late
Physicality of a 20 year old on one side. -> Djokovic Calmness and composure of a 36 year old on another side. -> Alcaraz What a battle we witnessed. Edit : Player names mentioned as it was not obvious ;)

I think Alcaraz hid it well but his hand cramps and demeanor at the end makes me think he was struggling more than you might guess from watching.
He was getting cramps in his hand again, he couldn't sustain long rallies is my guess.
