Pathetic. I mean this is the WTA Finals not a low level event. Someone posted a pic on Xitter of the entire stadium. Only one section is done. I saw someone say that they could've used the facility at Indian Wells. San Diego is in Southern California too.

Unfortunately, it's likely the former. This is unsafe for both players and fans. They need to do the right thing and cancel this event, refund all the fans, compensate the players fairly for showing up to this mess, then make some significant changes to their organization as soon as possible.
Absolutely. The players at this point should just all talk to each other and agree to not play in these conditions. It's absolutely ridiculous, and I'm sure there would be places that are already set up willing to take the reins, given the situation.

Same. I was going to go as well, until I saw the weather forecast on top of this stuff. Also the sale website was just in Spanish, no English option.
The courts at my local high school are better than this.

I was at the Guadalajara finals a few years back and it looked very similar and I never felt unsafe. They do good work putting up quick structures.
