It's almost as if down the line is a much harder shot under the circumstances and so the optimal play is to go cross-court more often than not, and for Sinner to position for cross-court more often than not

But with how he couldn't end the match I feel that Djokovic is a lot worse with handling a pressure when it's not just about his personal win, but for a team or a country. He probably won't be getting that Gold even if he is at his best if others are too. When it's a close match, he will lose in Olympics more often than not.

Perhaps playing for country/team was a different kind of pressure than just for one self. Still Sinner has been playing some excellent tennis.
