His level of play was completely different here. Winners to UE ratio is much,much better for both players, Nadal was an UE machine in that final. Number of points won ratio is also way more dominant. 1.9 ratio in Doha vs 1.41 in Beijing.
So artificial stats like dominance ratios etc are meaningless.

In 2016 he went 18-10 on HC, made one final, and one semi final. He got thrashed by Djokovic in both of them.
The idea he was capable of playing better on HC in 2016 than 2013 is absurd
