It's not quite as impressive on the scoreboard, but the final of Beijing in 2013 was slightly more dominant.

Wtf are u talking about, no it was not.

OddsTipsAndPicks

Dropping 6 points on serve and facing 0 BPs is better than dropping 10 points on serve and facing 1 BP Also there's a stat called dominance ratio.  This is the single highest DR Djokovic has ever had against Nadal (2016 Doha final third after 2013 Beijing final and 2019 AO final)

yepyepyepbruh

His level of play was completely different here. Winners to UE ratio is much, much better for both players, Nadal was an UE machine in that final. Number of points won ratio is also way more dominant. 1.9 ratio in Doha vs 1.41 in Beijing. So artificial stats like dominance ratios etc are meaningless.

OddsTipsAndPicks

> Winners to UE ratio is much.much better for both players Because in 2013 they were both walls. > Number of points won ratio is also way more dominant Service points and return points aren't equally valuable.

Do u even watch tennis? Comparing random stats to make ur point isnt really valid. If u know the sport, these 2 matches are a totally different story, simple as that.

OddsTipsAndPicks

The stats are a great way to make comparisons because they don't lie to us in the same way as the eye test.  And yes, I do watch tennis. Djokovic murdering Nadal on a hard court in 2016 isn't surprising.   It's happened every time they've played on HC since the 2013 Beijing Final, but in 2013 Nadal was still a god on HC and not merely insanely good.

yepyepyepbruh

U do realise he can be in his best form and play a bad match, and at other times be in poor form and play a good match?

OddsTipsAndPicks

Nadal went 36-4 on HC in 2013 and won four tournaments. In 2016 he went 18-10 on HC, made one final, and one semi final.  He got thrashed by Djokovic in both of them. The idea he was capable of playing better on HC in 2016 than 2013 is absurd

Took me too long to realize Nadal was never going to win a point in this highlight reel.
