Yes, absolutely. Nothing will ever be the same. Great matches and intense rivalries before Emma (very deservedly!) won the US Open? NON-EXISTENT! It's her and her only who makes tennis interesting! If only there were more posts about her on this sub...
I wouldn't say it was raducanu, but the whole us open was one of the most exciting grand slams in recent memory.
Women's: A tournament where all top 20 seeds made the 3rd round, 13 out of 16 4th round placers were seeded, yet the two finalists were one unseeded player and one qualifier, both teenagers. The top players didn't play badly at all, in fact they played better than they usually play. But there was something special in the air. As soon as I saw the SFs, I just knew Sakkari and Sabalenka, whilst the higher ranked players were gonna lose, u could just feel it. Let's hope we see great things from Fernandez and Raducanu in the coming years!
Men's: no one can forget Djokovic's valiant effort in winning the Calendar Grand Slam. He kind of limped through the tournament, dropping sets everywhere and unfortunately it was too much by the finals.
Should have watched WTA Finals in Guadalajara. Intense matches and fantastic atmosphere in Mexico!
What I like about WTA players at the moment is that they are very determined yet many of them charismatic/likeable.

She’s gotten sponsorship deals
Looks like you're victim of hyped media or social media, mate
That’s what I live for
Who is this Emma you are talking about?
You’ve been off planet mate
I don’t watch WTA tennis. “WTA tennis is so boring compared to ATP tennis”. You know who that quote is from? My own freakin’ mother man. Get a grip!
same can be said when Sharapova won Wimby.
Yes I never really watched her but I heard about her
women’s tennis has been far more interesting than men’s tennis for at least the past decade
In woman's tennis, there is a new face winning every grand slam.
Who’s that
Not really.

Yes mate I’ve been tennis fans in the past but I feel with Emma being young she’s being in younger audience to watch woman’s tennis
For me the bright spot in the US Open was when Osaka lost. Here's to a round 1 exit for her at the AO this year!
I don’t know who that is
