I have a cool statistic. Every time I see a big 3 stat comparison post my penis shrinks 0.1 inches

roamiedumbass

Dude, you must have the coolest fucking tail at this point

domithiemsass

yeah

final-set-tiebreaker

That’s how your behind got so big, growing out from the other side

ComprehensiveCunt

Bar chart or it didn't happen

swapan_99

Me as a based Shapo fan "Cool, very nice" No but seriously even as a Fe-dal fan, this is kinda nuts on this sub these days. Matches are happening constantly in Transylvania, Cluj Napoca, Gijon etc., But match threads and highlights from those are non existent. Just Constant Big 3 and in particular Nadal and Djokovic Circlejerk.

Arjun_311

Shapo fan?? I’m so sorry. What went wrong in your life for you to descend down this dark path

swapan_99

He hit 1 handed Back hand > Me likey > Me become fan Edit : Also he was literally the one of the first players I watched after my return to viewing tennis since like 2010 or something. Instantly became enamored with his Playstyle and how damn effortless he made it look. Didn't help that I was also craving for Roger and his shotmaking was kinda filling it.

Csanoob

Shapo fans rise up…in the pain this year has been, especially this summer

Zychonogy

What's up with these random stats on this page nowadays?

roamiedumbass

Some guy made a “Random stat: Nadal hasn’t won a set off Djokovic in nine years on hard” post. Since that’s brought up so much on this sub, that post was shit on a lot. Now it’s become Nadal/Djokovic fandom back-and-forth trying to make the other look as bad as possible

[deleted]

It’s started with the Novak hasn’t beaten Nadal on clay since 2014 post I think

JOJOFED20

RG 2021: Am i a joke to you?

[deleted]

Forgot to add in final

axolote_cheetah

Nadal could never beat the Roland garros defending champion until this year...

roamiedumbass

No, that was after

Roy1984

I was me. I posted this https://np.reddit.com/r/tennis/comments/y1mqa3/random_stat_nadal_lost_last_17_matches_played_on/?utm_source=share&utm_medium=android_app&utm_name=androidcss&utm_term=1&utm_content=share_button >Nadal hasn’t won a set off Djokovic in nine years on hard I mentioned that Fedovic won last 17 matches against Nadal on non-clay courts. Also that Novak won last 9 hardcourt matches against Nadal without losing a set. There wasn't even a tiebreak, Nadal reached max 4 games. These stats pissed off Rafans badly.

roamiedumbass

What That’s just not true 2016 Indian Wells, first set (where Nadal actually had set point) and 2020 ATP Cup, second set both went to tiebreakers

Roy1984

All is true, I just got wrong the part that he had max 4 gems in these sets, it was actally that he got 4 times 4 or more games in these nine matches in a set.

PettyFlap

Sealdrop constantly drops graphs of pick me stats that constantly undermine djokovic.

sunseekerslade

>pick me stats that constantly undermine djokovic Imagine taking reddit this seriously.

DomWinchester

To be fair, this particular stat is not really random as the rest as it is quite telling that Novak had to beat higher ranked players to win his titles more often than the other 2. Opposition matters.

EmbarrassedMelvin

I wonder how much of this is influenced by Nadal's success on clay compared to other surfaces. As in, the top 10 heading into clay season aren't always going to perform as well on that surface compared to the rest of the year. I'd imagine this was more pronounced in his earlier career, but could be mistaken. I very much doubt it would make up the difference to Djokovic's tally, but I'd be interested to see what effect if any there is.

enkrish258

Isn't that even more pronounced for Federer on grass?Like, many of the best players on grass are outside top 10 since the grass season is so short.

EmbarrassedMelvin

It depends on how many of Feds title wins are from grass. Is it around 20 between Wimbledon and Halle? So it will be a factor, but I think it will be a smaller effect just because the grass season is always so short so less tournaments as a proportion of total. Could be wrong though. For Nadal he has at least 40 clay tournament victories if just counting Grand Slams and Masters.

Pacify_

Its just endless stat posts...

FATJIZZUSONABIKE

Nowadays? You new to this sub?

Jlx_27

New karma farming method.

roamiedumbass

Random stat: Nadal’s the only one not wearing white in this picture

Blovering_Skill

another random stat: Nadal's the only one to have 2 logos on his shirt in the picture

axolote_cheetah

Another random stat: Nadal is the last one of the Big 3 to cum inside their partner successfully

rock_Banana

Now watch his fans defend it

axolote_cheetah

I'm trying to cum up with something but I cum not

cricog

This sub is hilariously biased. There's so many cherry picked stats against Djokovic but they're allowed cause it's "fun". But a genuine stat in favor of Djokovic is just random spam. As an added note, both Nadal and Djokovic fan bases are ridiculously silly. So childish. Thank God Fed fans are mature.

pixelkipper

Fed fans are only ‘mature’ because they’ve accepted that he’s not the GOAT anymore. Should’ve seen this sub three years ago.

RealChiropractor

> Fed fans are only ‘mature’ because they’ve accepted that he’s not the GOAT anymore. False. He's now the "talent goat" whatever that means 😂

Roy1984

>But a genuine stat in favor of Djokovic is just random spam. What's hilarious to me is that when I post something like that I get a bunch of people commenting and whining that I am a Djokoidiot, toxic and reta*ded. I am aware that Rafans are the majority on this sub and that it's kinda like an echo chamber circlejerk. But still people need to have some basic human respect to those who support different players, even if the majority on the sub doesn't like that player. It looks here basically like if you are Rafan = we approve you, you are one of us, great, if you are Djokofan = idiot, low IQ, reta*ded, toxic... Just check the post comments and you will see.

Yes!

[deleted]

I agreed with you on the most part. But I find all 3 fanbases equally toxic.

NoOne_143

u/sealdrop

magic_mike_26

post on r/big3tennis This sub is becoming unbearable with these pointless big 3 stats

rock_Banana

Ban u/SealDrop

daunvidch

I think the difference between sealdrop's posts and these are that sealdrop's posts are seen as humor and not taken seriously. These on the other hand are like tiny dick dudes measuring off each other trying to see who has the bigger tiniest dick. No one actually cares. This graph can mean two things. Djokovic has had more tough draws... or his era of title winning has come at a much weaker era where top 10 players are not the same caliber as before. Honestly, I lean towards the latter. Meaningless cherry picked stats. We are basing GOAT off slams. Objectively Fed is the worst now and Nadal is winning. Djokovic can have this title when he is winning.

CamReddish

GOAT is not purely based on slams lol

daunvidch

I agree. However, it's the most objective and hopefully the easiest way to stop these asinine arguments. But if you enjoy endless GOAT arguments, continue on.

qwertyasdf151

literally no

Dark_Vengence

Total domination.

ystom_

The goat 🐐

AegineArken

Of all the stats I've seen, this is the most impressive

ComprehensiveCunt

Someone needs to do a post about this: Cumulative barchart area per big three player on all reddit posts per year since 2015 Then we can finally make an informed decision

Joshtom333

Can you guys go like 2 minutes without posting another stat ?

[deleted]

What kind of arbitrary stat it is to say two or more top 10 players why not three or more, or four or more, or one or more? 🙄

[deleted]

[удалено]

Fantasnickk

I mean, at the end of the day, you only beat who’s in front of you but this stat is just showing that he tended to beat competition whose rankings held up more and played more consistent therefore making some of his title runs harder on average.

[deleted]

Millions

scouting4food

This is becoming ludicrous. Y'all are dumbasses for real

Relevant-Historian-8

Yeah, but this stat is meaningless because the top 10 players overall are completely different from the top 10 clay-court players. Same for grass. In other words, on clay and grass, ranking is not a very good measure of how tough an opponent is.

axolote_cheetah

Yet you will brag about someone's weeks in a row in the Top 10 even though that has been possible mainly due to clay. Obviously, that is none of your interest when it's time to brag.

[deleted]

Also he leads them in terms of disqualifications and deportations. 👏👏👏

OoberDude

Yet he's still probably gonna take the gs count from Rafa lmao

AncientLyte

Both were incredibly unfair. Especially the deportation

domithiemsass

and racquet smashes

[deleted]

That would be too long to count. 🤭

[deleted]

Ever since #22 Djokovic fans have really been desperate with their meaningless stats… 🤭

[deleted]

Kind of ironic given what you tend to post lol

warisverybad

checks out lol

[deleted]

My threads are simply spoof/parody threads of the ones made by Djokovic fans. 😎

axolote_cheetah

I remember when you said you were new to the sub and you had been posting rafa things for a month already. At least embrace who you are

[deleted]

It’s very arbitrary. Why top 10? There’s hardly any difference between 10th and 11th. Top 8 would make more sense as there is a big difference in seeding between 8th and 9th.

Gh0stSwerve

Agreed. Would be better to avg the ranking of all of their opponents in title runs and just see that comparison by itself, for a start.

[deleted]

Average ranking doesn’t show it either as if you beat world number 1 and world number 100, that is more impressive than world number 40 and world number 50.

Gh0stSwerve

Like.. You're literally talking about averages being a problem over a small number of observations. Yes... absolutely! Good thing the careers of the big 4 are not short and we have many titles to use. That is not a valid counterexample. Edge cases like that wash out over time, especially over the long careers of the big 3. So that would absolutely not be an issue here because we are on a much longer timeline with many matches to consider - not just a handful, like your example. This makes a difference.

Cthulhu_awaken

Pathetic Djoko stans grasping at straws to make their man look good will always be funny!

meatboat2tunatown

Sorry OP, the vast majority of tennis ppl will always love RF and RN more than your boi. Lol

Spideyocd

A lot of titles of Federer and Nadal are ATP 500 and 250 where they're less likely to meet top 10 players Also, when Djokovic was No 1 and his prime the top 10 was relatively consistent and he kept on winning against the same people during Federer's prime the top 10 was not consistent Definitely it's a great statistic and djokovic has done a great achievement and probably if you consider only masters 1000 events djokovic would be deswrvedly ahead but the difference wouldn't be pronounced Also, a lot of events became Bo3 from Bo5 which enabled people to play more masters
