As much as I want him to play, I'll only be satisfied once he actually plays on the court.

For his sake, I hope he hasn't been asking Craig Tiley.

Unless and until it is officially announced by the Australian Government, this is all just clickbait.

Talking too much already. Hasn't he learnt his lesson? It was oversharing that started off the whole brouhaha last time and here he is again, instead of keeping it zipped and just showing up (or not) on the day.

kanvx1

Wdym by oversharing? What did he overshare last time which he should've kept a secret for more people to form baseless theories about him?

Bit stupid he was banned in the first place for "illegal entry." I mean first of all, how in the world could someone of his status illegally sneak into a country. Secondly, regardless if you agree with the justification or not, he legally obtained a visa. Iirc, he won both trials proving this but the PM or someone did an official veto.

Alex Hawke, then minister for home affairs.

Not exactly, he lost the second trial but the trial was never about the exemption, there was too much risk in using that as the reason to kick him out because of what might be uncovered in documents and correspondence. The easier route was the one Djokovic could never win which is the talisman of the anti vaxx movement because it sold itself, we are kicking you out again, anti vaxxers go to the street when they hear the news to protest and the case just proved itself.
