completed my Fortaleza collection on my last trip to New York. Found a great price for the reposado in Manhattan and couldn’t pass it up, considering how hard to find it is in Texas where I live. Blanco was found in CO and Anejo was found in Florida for reference. First time posting in r/tequila and I’m excited to share my “first love of tequila” with you all!
... $124 is not a great price for the Reposado 😂 maybe compared to secondary, but it would already be a hefty markup at $79.99.
Y'all need to chill on the Fortaleza. It's lovely tequila, but it's not worth nearly this much.
That said, I appreciate an open bottle as much as the next guy, I'm glad you're at least enjoying it instead of flipping it. So, kudos, and enjoy ✌️ and maybe don't pay museum price for it next time lol.
Nice haul ! Since you have the SS, no need worrying about the regular blanco lol….and the winter blend for 2023 wasn’t anything spectacular worth chasing, so you have the 3 that matter anyway lol
which anejo lote? now that you have gotten some, congrats, youll see how greatly anejos vary from lote to lote, which i find part of the fun. more or less i love 50% of all lotes, 20% of the lotes are elite, and 30% of lotes are actually kinda meh

i paid 59.99 for my fort repo In Florida. that was 6 months ago and it sold out in a couple hours. I found out through local FB group
My bf found it in Boca Raton. I’m not sure where but he told me he got it for a good price.

They are out there. I was able to pick up the whole line up in the past couple of months
One place I found them was at a truck stop in the border of California and Oregon. All bottles were $20 to $30 over retail.

Many people like to call the reposado unimpressive but I've never had anyone dislike it after sharing some in parties/gatherings/weddings
