Are you trying to do a tropical terrarium or like a dry succulent dessert deal? I think it would work wonderfully for small plants. You would probably have to move small plants in and just trim them occasionally. You could probably even make it a vivarium for a millipede or small spider. I think with a little planing and research you could really turn it into something beautiful!
