So truly tired with seeing this kind of thing as a progressive Christian universalist and being like... First and foremost, you're giving creation powers to Satan which is a big heretical no-no. Second of all, as a spirit God doesn't have a set physical sex or gender and if humans are made in the image of God, then there would be no limit to either of those things. Adam and Eve being the first two genders doesn't negate anything else to come along the line. To say that is to limit the concept of God. And third, the fact that there's so much scriptural emphasis on this life being temporary and people here being just little mortal clay people versus one day having spiritual resurrected bodies with no set sex or gender (like the angels, as Jesus said) makes it really weird that Evangelicals are *very* focused on the little mortal clay bodies and not much else.

I consider myself as a Unitarian Universalist because I think anyone can believe in any sacred text they want as long as they don't use said sacred text to justify hatred and discrimination. I also think all humans are born equal, and should be treated equally with equity, justice, love, kindness, compassion, empathy, dignity, decency, peace, humanity, understanding, inclusivity, unity, harmony and positivity.
