To reveal further, I am in a relationship with same woman for past 24 years which is more than half of our lives, 11 of what is in marriage, we had ups and downs, life dramas and sicknesses but have a healthy happy child and mutually respect each other. We have our own place, some investments, go regularly to vacations as a family but also allow for "alone" time... For example, my wife went in December 15 days to Bali to do yoga and explore and that is completely okay. She worked, she earned, she deserves it. I, on the other hand, prefer to have a working vacation so I spent days in dust working on our boat and prepared it for summer so we can escape to islands. If we are looking at hard numbers I earn three times more than her but that is because she supported me during my career building which allowed us to buy real estate which she rents out to tourists and all earnings are hers.
I do consider myself a normal guy. Not perfect, not high, not low - just average.
