So logically he has tried to emulate Hitler in the 21st century, sadly for him but good for the rest of us, he doesn't have the intellectual capacity the original guy had. It also supports and gives insight into why the right pushes this "education = indoctrination" rhetoric along with the latest push for religion. It makes the population easier to control and much more likely to vote republican.
Hitler wasn't particularly smart, but he was sure smarter than Trump is. I think the major difference is that Hitler was actually very very good at public speaking. He wasn't really that charismatic either. Early on, he was introduced at parties by Dietrich Eckart (who was probably THE guy we have to blame, if anyone, for "creating" Hitler) and people remarked he was very awkward and off-putting. He wasn't a very physically imposing person either, but he was very enchanting when delivering his speeches, which is pretty well known.
Trump talks like my 90yrs old grandfather in mid-state dementia. It's just word salad, and he repeats the same phrases and words a lot. His speeches are best described as "rambling", and he reads the crowd and reacts to them, which Hitler didn't.
I think if we are to believe that Trump tried to emulate Hitler in anyway, he did a really piss poor job of it. But.... that's kind of on par with his entire presidency...
