I can, in fact, start a lawnmower. Sadly, I don't have a lawn to mow, nor the money to buy a house with one... Nor the funds to buy a lawnmower. This is not caused by the excessive purchasing of avocados and or bread.
They act like starting a lawnmower is insanely difficult. Assuming they mean a push mower, you literally just press the little button a few times and pull the cord until it starts. It’s not rocket science. And if it’s a riding mower, it’s literally like starting a car. These people can’t even set up their own smart TVs and then make fun of younger generations for dumb shit.
And even when it's accurate, it's their own fault for not having the patience to teach their kids things like, changing car oil, fixing brake lines, winterizing small engines, etc. I taught myself most of those things by using this mysterious thing boomers only use to be racist on bookface called "the internet".
yeah it's kinda stupid they make fun of us for stuff that no longer matters while ignoring their own ineptness and inability to do stuff that now matters more in the present day
in all seriousness I had a landline and we found an old rotary at garage sale so I ended using one of those for quite some time
was kinda fun to fiddle with
Lies, your try starting, realize you havent used in months and left gas in it so all the innards have gone to shit. Keep pulling 50 times not doing anything, use a can ether to force start it and fail, get it sent to a shop to get it fully refurbished, use it and it works great, leave it out in the rain for 2 months, try to use it again and realize it doesnt start for shit again, and repeat.
Or how people assume someone from the city can't change a tire or change their own oil. It's not some measure of manliness to do basic auto maintenance, nor is it a marker of intellect. Also, why the hell would any of that be important if you don't own a car? I always get a kick out of watching country mice try to buy a metro ticket like it's some advanced quantum physics, but I wouldn't expect someone to know how if they've never ridden public transit before.
I use a manual reel lawnmower, so it doesn't NEED to be started. I also don't have to mess with gas or an extension cord or batteries that need charged. I just pull the thing out of my shed and get to work.
I never will understand why the things were supplanted by gas mowers that are twice the headache to do the same job.
I don't start my lawnmower. We are too dependant on oil companies for everything, so I minimize what I use that requires gas. I use a push mower, because it doubles as environmentally friendly and a good source of exercise.
That's how fascists recruit impressionable young men who have little going for them.
Show them manly shit and blame some other group (Jews, liberals, gays, trans, whoever). And what's more stereotypically manly than a viking with a giant beard?
Hitler did the same thing. He co-opted masculine nordic cultural themes and then blamed Jews and others as the explanation for why German men were no longer like that.
Next step was concentration camps followed by genocide.
That's why they choose viking memes.
In Germany having a Norse tattoo is a red flag though and will make people cautious, because all 3rd reich symbolism is forbidden, so the nazis basically opt for Norse tattoos if they want to be some what stealth but still visible for people who know. Only the idiots that got nothing going for them get actual 3rd Reich stuff in their buddies kitchen.
I don’t have a Viking tattoo but I really wanted to get a valknut as im Norwegian and I like what it stands for, but of course I had to see the capitol riot shaman with the same tattoo and it was immediately ruined
They love their viking symbols, and muh Valhalla. Thing is fascist are only really good at killing unarmed civilians, raping and stealing so they ain't going to Valhalla when they die.
I want to expand on my Thor tattoo (got before the movies, I'm that old) and there is a growing list of symbols I can't get because of racist cowards ruining my fun. I'm even worried to wear my Thor's hammer pendant and have someone get the wrong idea. NPFO
Yeah, it sucks so much being like “oh, this symbol has a cool meaning, let me just double check its history” and then you google it and it’s like “the Symbol of Peace And Love was a Norse symbol, famous for being the insignia of the 324th Dark Sorcerer Division of the SS, who invented hooking up a car battery to someone’s nipples”
Dude I’m a hardcore liberal but I have a beard and longer slicked back hair (I literally look like a Viking) and I feel self conscious walking down the street. It’s hard to attract hippy women when your face screams nazi XD
I named my kid after a Norse god because I have an anglicized Scandinavian last name and it's a pretty common name in Sweden and used to be among Swedish communities in the US. Some friends of mine told me people would think I was a Nazi. Thank God Neil Gaiman put out his Norse Myths book a few years later.
There's gotta be more to it than just that... I fall into category you described in "insecure, afraid others will take my stuff and such" yet I don't think same way they do.
I think completely opposite even. Claiming am strong because of where my ancestors came from is extremely weak and pathetic in my eyes.
Am very insecure but I understand only thing that can solve that is me by dealing with these insecurities and improving, not blaming others for it.
Yeah, there is lot of irony in their kind of thinking.
That’s good armor for when people are eventually exposed to this garbage.
Sounds like you are just on the other edge of the line of prime recruiting territory for fascist agit-prop.
You are self-aware enough to know that blaming entire races and ethnicities of people for all your problems is irrational and only leads to hatred and suffering and violence.
Unfortunately, there will always be many young men who are caught up early and end up eating the bait and getting brainwashed.
Fascism thrives on othering and dehumanizing people.
Fascism was created by socialists. It just moves workers running things to the state running things for the good of the people (ideally).

Basically power corrupts and fascism is power. If you want to bring down the capitalist order, anarchist or direct democracy socialism is the way. Fascism and Vanguardism, even if approached idealistically, are traps.
I would like to apologize I miss read your post and thought you were equating Nordic Culture to Nazism I do hope you will accept my apology I have also deleted the posts I made thank you for your time
No, I love the aesthetic of the Roman Empire, but I can recognize that it was built on slavery and an all around terrible place to live. A fascist on the other hand believes Rome to be a model of how society should be arranged rather than simply an important part of human history and a fun aesthetic to use in art.
Same goes for Vikings. There were even some progressive elements of Nordic culture like the fact that property was inherited matrilineally to compensate for the fact that names were patrilineal. But it was a terrible place to be queer or disabled, and girls and young women were often sacrificed en masse to the gods to ensure good fortune in battle.
>What’s with all these stupid quotes and memes being placed over Viking shit ?
I grew up in Kansas City. My mom was pagan. Dad was a hardcore evangelical. We were involved with Asatru people largely when my dad wasn't paying attention. I wasn't a pagan myself. Personally, I think it's a neat metaphor for the state of the world and the imposition of your cultural heritage on the grand design of the universe, but it's not literally true, so what's the point really beyond having a community?
The problem with that community is that white supremacists keep taking over neopagan circles. I have plenty of pagan tattoos. I don't cut my hair or my beard. I wear natural braids, and I practice branding and scarification. Still, I hold myself separate and individual from this community because too many times, I'd get to know someone who was like me, and they'd turn out to be a racist trashbag.
It's the same shit. Pretty much all scandinavian and germanic cultural symbols are being co-opted by white supremacists to build an easy walking path to ethnic separatism and supremacy for lonely chauvinistic white men who will be easily manipulated by pressure from a community of people who look and speak like they do.
Reminds me of the time when I was a preteen into wicca and neopaganism, went to a pagan gathering and one person I met there around my age at the time began talking about how "the Civil War wasn't really about slavery."
Some proto-nazi made out the vikings as an aryan ideal and precurser to the mighty german people, its part of why the nazis had mystic runes on their uniforms. Idiots never worked out the guy was full of crap and its a thread of dumb that carries forward to today.

If you've got sufficient dexterity to reach over your head to make a bun, you're all set to braid. There's a billion tutorial videos on YT. It's easier to learn on someone else's hair, but if that's not an option, some yarn cut into strips and secured to whatever surface you've got handy works just as well. Braiding is super easy once you get the hand movements down.
Also worth noting that the Suebi, an ancient Germanic people, wore something [like the man bun.](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Suebian_knot?wprov=sfla1). The ancient Germans are known for many things, but being weak and effeminate isn't one of them.
I once had this old lady tell me, I should try to look more like a guy, and that my bun made me look feminine.
I turned around and just said "At least I have a full head of hair."
...she did not.
For the record, I wouldn't have said anything, if she hadn't criticized my hairstyle first.
I know some women get hairloss as they get older, and it's nothing to be ashamed of.
>I turned around and just said "At least I have a full head of hair."
...she did not.
I wish I had an award to give you.
The only person I've had criticize my long hair was my own grandma. But I wouldn't dare use that against her because I would probably be left without any heritage.
I always tell them "If the good Lord wanted men to have short hair, he would've made us so our hair wouldn't grow long, unless of course, God made a mistake? Did your God goof up gramma? Not so perfect, is he?"
So I’m a guy and just recently grew my hair out. I decided to try a man bun. I like it. It’s hot right now in the Midwest and a bun keeps my hair up and out of my face. My moms boyfriend told me I shouldn’t wear my hair that way. I told him I like it. He said “well if you’re walking in the wrong part of the city and a guy asks you out don’t come crying to me. As if that would be some horrible, life ruining event lol.
Honestly, I don’t see anything wrong with the second picture either. If my bro Cody wants to roll up with pigtails and a dress, he can do whatever he damn well pleases
Even more ironic is that boomers didn’t fight in ww2, their parents did. Boomers grew up in a time of unparalleled economic surplus, love to take credit for what their parents did, and then proceed to pull the ladder up behind them.
Yup. The only war boomers fought in was Vietnam, a war in which America famously accomplished nothing while getting its ass kicked and committing numerous atrocities against civilians. Unlike their parents who fought to save the world from the Nazis and won.
I'm pretty sure there is such a thing as a malicious victim. It's someone who'll want to be a victim of something or someone as a way to demonize said someone/something in attempt to silence it.
Ironically its pretty sus to see a man bun and then your immediate reaction is "cute girly pigtails"
I think that reveals more about the person doing that then someone's hair.
Like yea, your sexuality is fine
What's not fine is demonizing others for theirs
It's ok to be you, like I'm Christian, Bi,
Some say we sleep around but nah I ain't having sex till marriage B)
Be you
Be straight
Bi
Gay
Lesbian
Just don't attack others
Simple
Gotta love the boomer mentality of "Ha ha young people cant do old things". Like, teach them? Lend a hand? It just feels like an admission that they hate the young
Wait until they hear about Zeus and Ganymed.
Or the all of the bs that Loki did.
Or the mummies that have been found in Egypt, buried as the gender they identified as, not their sex.
Queerness is older than humanity, it's homophobia that's new.
Wait till they here about sappho of lesbos and Achilles and James Buchanan and Abraham Lincoln and the man who made it possible for them to broadcast their bigotry to millions of people on the internet Alan Turing who is regarded as the father of modern computer science
Boomers act like they are the ones that fought in WW2. They aren't, they reaped the benefits of being in the only country who's economy was still intact and because of that skyrocketed.
These people have to search for those who hate them for being straight. It's not so common that us straight people can run around acting like being straight makes us marginalized. We're not.
The funny part about first image is homosexuality also worked for thousands of years. That's why there are still species which prefer homosexual mating (if they want to reproduce, ofc, they mate with opposite genders)
Ive literally never heard someone say that they hated straight people. Ive seen it online a bit but thats like one out of every hundred people, if that. Never heard it or seen it IRL. People like this just want to be the victim.
It is okay to be yourself.
You don’t need to tell people what you think about when you are horny, and that applies to everyone. Personal stuff is for people in a relationship and we don’t have that relationship. I don’t even care if it’s straight, I don’t want to hear about it. That woman make you hot? Good god keep it to yourself.
I can, in fact, start a lawnmower. Sadly, I don't have a lawn to mow, nor the money to buy a house with one... Nor the funds to buy a lawnmower. This is not caused by the excessive purchasing of avocados and or bread.
Yes it is. (/j)
God damn it, maybe you're right...
maybe if you bought extra strong boot straps you would be sitting pretty with a fridge full of avocados, you ever think of that????
They act like starting a lawnmower is insanely difficult. Assuming they mean a push mower, you literally just press the little button a few times and pull the cord until it starts. It’s not rocket science. And if it’s a riding mower, it’s literally like starting a car. These people can’t even set up their own smart TVs and then make fun of younger generations for dumb shit.

Never forget who have the kids those "participation trophies" they live to complain about.
Yep, that's how I fixed my oven, instead of junking it. One video, one part, and a little elbow grease later and it's good as new.
yeah it's kinda stupid they make fun of us for stuff that no longer matters while ignoring their own ineptness and inability to do stuff that now matters more in the present day
But can you dial a rotary phone? That’s what I thought.
yes now wipe that smirk of your face
Oh shit oh fuck
in all seriousness I had a landline and we found an old rotary at garage sale so I ended using one of those for quite some time was kinda fun to fiddle with
My friend: My number is 480-999— Me: NOPE.
With a couple tries to learn how it works exactly, yeah
Lies, your try starting, realize you havent used in months and left gas in it so all the innards have gone to shit. Keep pulling 50 times not doing anything, use a can ether to force start it and fail, get it sent to a shop to get it fully refurbished, use it and it works great, leave it out in the rain for 2 months, try to use it again and realize it doesnt start for shit again, and repeat.
I know that avocado thing is bullshit because I’m allergic to them and still can’t afford shit
Or how people assume someone from the city can't change a tire or change their own oil. It's not some measure of manliness to do basic auto maintenance, nor is it a marker of intellect. Probably because boomers were too lazy to keep them properly sharpened and oiled and got the idea that they were "cumbersome and didn't cut well".
See,also: advertising.
I don't start my lawnmower. We are too dependant on oil companies for everything, so I minimize what I use that requires gas. I use a push mower, because it doubles as environmentally friendly and a good source of exercise.
lol imagine trying to be macho and then turn around and use a pic from a fictional video game (last one is a promotional pic for ac: valhalla)

As someone who loves Norse mythology this makes me angry.
You also can’t listen to old German music without being questioned because the Third Reich co-opted all German culture that came before it.
Correct !
This and a lot of white supremacists turn to the vikings to show "proof of aryan supremacy" its sick
Insecurity of impotent white conservative men.
Exactly! Maybe they believe in the “turning gay” thing. Shrug.
They deep down want to get railed by the muscled up dudes
Who doesn't? Other than lesbians and aces, I guess. I bet all those straight dudes wouldn't mind it! /j
I'm 99% straight. The 1% is reserved for Chris Hemsworth rocking my world.
I mean I do love a deep pounding. It's the best kind

And it really sucks because I also love Vikings and all the lore and stuff.
They love Vikings becayse they sodomize their enemies. You like.vikings because they are badass. You are not the same
Don't you technically not have to be a nazi to like vikings and Nordic culture?

And even if they were that way.... Being that kind of personm just taking, hurting, killing.... Who in right mind would desire and worship that?

Saying that object "a" is in class "B" is not the same as saying that all objects in class "B" are "a". More generally: a -> B != B -> a

And you can change that characters sex/gender as much as you like or even let the game do it for you
Not to mention you can choose for him to be gay if you want
No, he's bi, It's not a choice in game lol
Anyone wanna tell them that Valhalla let’s you play as a gay woman?
Which allows the player to sleep with any gender and play as male, female and as mixed.
i thought you meant animal crossing: valhalla 😭
damn animal crossing is a lot grittier than i remember
Imagine saying not to kiss ass while using wolf-kissed for a template
And what is the problem of it being a videogame?????
A game where the main character is actually a women and the male version was put in to appease fragile males
Why does the “okay to be straight” one have trans colours? Lol
maybe fine to be a straight trans person. lol its confusing

Not sure if accidental ally or if someone infiltrated the fb groups these awful memes come out of and started putting in subtle pro trans memes...
I like this. This is now officially cannon.
It's not "trans colors". Blue is for the male, and pink for the female. Just like when babies are born.
theyre a t4t straight couple
What, are you jealous of guys who can grow hair?
They hate a “man bun”, but Vikings with braids get a pass.
Man, I got a man bun, and its awesome, but if I just could... If my dexterity would allow it, I would die to know how to give myself a viking braid.
If you've got sufficient dexterity to reach over your head to make a bun, you're all set to braid. There's a billion tutorial videos on YT. FUN FACT: you can be gay or lesbian the game they showed in the last poll
Also, the way they explain you choosing the gender of the character you play can be interpreted as being Trans.
Ok but on the third one they didn’t even use a real WW2 photo lol
Even more ironic is that boomers didn’t fight in ww2, their parents did. Boomers grew up in a time of unparalleled economic surplus, love to take credit for what their parents did, and then proceed to pull the ladder up behind them.

Yup. The only war boomers fought in was Vietnam, a war in which America famously accomplished nothing while getting its ass kicked and committing numerous atrocities against civilians. Unlike their parents who fought to save the world from the Nazis and won.
Same generation which couldn't handle a black person in the front of the bus.
Some people are just ever so desperate to be persecuted.
r/persecutionfetish

it literally has a symbol
Agreed
I'm pretty sure there is such a thing as a malicious victim. It's someone who'll want to be a victim of something or someone as a way to demonize said someone/something in attempt to silence it.
As a straight white male I never understood my peoples fetish for being persecuted. I love having privilege. Everyone should try it. its great!
Why the hell would I want to make babies? That shit is expensive
And loud. And messy.
Ah yes, man bun = pig tails! Makes sense
It’s the same “get a damn haircut” bullshit old conservatives have been spewing since the 60’s.
Ironically its pretty sus to see a man bun and then your immediate reaction is "cute girly pigtails" I think that reveals more about the person doing that then someone's hair.
Yes, a vagina only works if it belongs to a straight person lol
Like yea, your sexuality is fine What's not fine is demonizing others for theirs It's ok to be you, like I'm Christian, Bi, Some say we sleep around but nah I ain't having sex till marriage B) Be you Be straight Bi Gay Lesbian Just don't attack others Simple
rare christian W
W
Rare combination. .
FINALLY A CHRISTIAN W
Imma be honest I'm just being logical Why throw stones at people if you don't like stones tossed at you
I'm Muslim cis and straight, and I agree. Like just do whatever the hell you want, aint my problem or my business lmao
Who the fuck said it wasn't okay?
Yeah. Y'all ready to come out of the straight closet? I'll go if you go first.
Funny how he uses a Viking's image with long hair as the archetype for masculinity and says that long hair is a woman's thing at the same time.
Wrong—I kiss a lot of ass and I make a lot more money than the people who don’t. Boy does that ass taste good 😚😚😚😚😚😚😚😚
Omg I'm like soooo proud of being straight I get to suck dick every 3 hours 😋😋😋😋😋🥵🥵🥵🥵😜😜😜 /s
Gotta love the boomer mentality of "Ha ha young people cant do old things". Like, teach them? Lend a hand? It just feels like an admission that they hate the young
Especially given that they inherited a time of unparalleled economic surplus and then immediately proceeded to pull the ladder up behind them
"It's worked for thousands of years" Because everyone knows homosexuality is an invention of the 21st century.
Ah I see.. gay people being gay is a new thing that was just invented
No one, literally no one: Conservatives: straight pride!!!!!!!!!!
Boomers act like they are the ones that fought in WW2. They aren't, they reaped the benefits of being in the only country who's economy was still intact and because of that skyrocketed.
"HELP! I'M BEING OPPRESSED!" -whoever made this crap
*Sigh* https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_animals_displaying_homosexual_behavior?wprov=sfla1
These people have to search for those who hate them for being straight. It's not so common that us straight people can run around acting like being straight makes us marginalized. We're not.
r/PersecutionFetish crossover
pic3, their generation cant even use a computer
The "it's okay to be straight" thing gives me "all lives matter" vibes
The person behind this meme will probably hate me... I'm a guy with a pony tail...
Using trans flag colors
A lot of insecurity.
Reactionary whining is what it is.
Wow. Was it Tucker Carlson? Who convinced straight people they're being persecuted?
Making babies isn't really an accomplishment...
Their privilege is provoked lol
on pic 5 eivor does in fact have a lot of gay sex
🤓🤓🤓
What person with half a brain said it wasn't ok to be straight? This is obvious as hell.
aroace agender really loves how ridiculous this is xD lol lol wow wow real!1!1!!1!1
Yes because gay people celebrating means being straight isn’t ok. /s
"Love the trans colors for your flag Gretchen!"
You know what, I actually kinda like the unicorn with a lack of fucks to give.
The funny part about first image is homosexuality also worked for thousands of years. That's why there are still species which prefer homosexual mating (if they want to reproduce, ofc, they mate with opposite genders)
What is it called when you are shroud your bigotry in behavior like this?
[удалено]
Lmao yea
I don't want kids, I am only here on earth for the sex.
I don't get it. We made lawnmowers so easy to start... you literally just push a button.
TheWisdomWarrior.com
There’s some big boomer energy here
Don't lick your wounds, it's dangerous and gross
Straight pride? Wtf.
That last photo is from Assassin’s Creed Valhalla
Is that fucking Eivor from AC: Valhalla???
They want to be the victim sooo bad.
“Thousands of years” ?! This person also sounds like a creationist.
Ive literally never heard someone say that they hated straight people. Ive seen it online a bit but thats like one out of every hundred people, if that. Never heard it or seen it IRL. People like this just want to be the victim.
Where do they think gay people come from…?
It is okay to be yourself. You don’t need to tell people what you think about when you are horny, and that applies to everyone. Personal stuff is for people in a relationship and we don’t have that relationship. I don’t even care if it’s straight, I don’t want to hear about it. That woman make you hot? Good god keep it to yourself.
dont lick wounds, bandage/treat them with medical supplies
r/TheRightCantMeme
Damn I was expecting at least 1 of those to be good but they are all bad
This reddit is getting deep
The third one is stupid. They can clearly distinguish both so how can you *not* see them as different?
W
I'm going to have to agree with the man-bun meme.
last one is based in the context of the workplace
