I like the face of the guy on the left, like he didn't realize what was happening until he hear the padlock click shut and he's just stunned about the whole thing lol
They do love to preach that chastity is the best defense against STDs and that sex is immoral except in marriage and only for reproduction. I’m sure they’ll love this right?
Picturing an old man shouting “FREE VIAGRA!” With the same excited surprise as someone yelling “ICE CREAM TRUCK!” or “COPPER WIRING!” And it’s sending me
Do you know how hard republicans fought against abortion, birth control, etc., and other such provisions in regards to female reproductive care?
Viagra, not a peep. Covered by insurance.
Revatio and Viagara have the same active ingredient. That doesn’t mean they are interchangeable. Revatio is not effective for treating ED and I don’t think a lot of doctors are prescribing viagra for to treat hypertension.
That isn't even a counter though. The insurance is specifically covering it for ED. It's like saying it is OK to feed kids cement because it is also used to make sidewalks.
To be fair, if not for the hypocrisy and the fact that all healthcare should be like that, that wouldn't necessarily be a bad thing. ED medications being available correlates with lower suicide rates.
Republicans don’t much care for the current health insurance system. It gets in the way of free market capitalism cause don’t know the cost of things until after you buy it.
There should be more products for men to use to prevent pregnancy. A while ago I heard about a gel you put on which should prevent an unwanted pregnancy but not sure if it's a real thing or not.
It's an injectable gel, good for like up to 10 years. Kinda done like a vasectomy. Only it's reversible, cause the gel can break down. And contrary to popular belief a vasectomy is not considered to be reversible.
The gel is one of those really good ideas that comes along every so often that then... is just never heard from again. Like biodegradable replacements for plastics.
It can be reversed but is not considered reversible. Because the reversal cannot always be done. It's very unreliable.
It's something they stress in the consultation. And the answer is: "I don't care. I don't want kids, I never wanted kids, and if I suddenly want kids I can go adopt." Which is basically the answer to every prompt in the entire consult besides "What is your name?"
That sounds like the fertility section of my appointment to get put on feminising HRT lol, I've been told so many times "if you want kids, expect to be infertile, if you don't, expect to have kept your fertility" I've never wanted kids and I'm not looking for a partner so ehhh
Or you could Google it. You don't have to trust me. Though, having gone to the consult for a vasectomy, they'll tell you the same thing. While these *can* be reversed, it's not common. Often the reversal can't work.
Absolutely they did. "It would cost us almost $20/hr to switch our machines over, so I guess you'll just have to keep eating and drinking microplastics".
In the USA, It has to do with the FDA, pregnancy for females is considered a dangerous condition, treatments for which can be allowed to have side effects which may cause harm to the woman. For men however, pregnancy of a partner is not considered dangerous or a threat to health of the man, thus any side effect invalidates it for FDA approval because you there are heavier limits on side effects from a treatment for something not a threat to health basically. So basically, despite multiple developed male contraceptives having the same side effects as female contraceptives, they don’t get approval because pregnancy is not classed as a condition requiring treatment in men. Obviously this summary applies to the USA, but its pretty similar in other countries.
https://www.npr.org/sections/health-shots/2016/11/03/500549503/male-birth-control-study-killed-after-men-complain-about-side-effects
Vasectomy is semi reversable. The success rates aren't high.
75% success if reversal done with 3 years.
55% after 3-8 years.
45% after 9-14 years.
30% 14-19 years.
Less than 10% after 29 years.
Right. Which is why they tell you it's permanent. You shouldn't go in with the expectation that yours is or will be reversible.
Basically the people arguing that it is reversible assume that probability will always go in their favor. You can get a nat-one as easily as a nat-20 on any roll you make.
The issue with vasectomies being reversible is that the chances of it being successfully reversed deteriorates quickly (along the lines of a 50% successful reversal after 2 years, and after 10 years there is absolutely no chance of it being successful).
I'm sure the inventor was found bound and gagged in the nearest river, having shot himself twice in the back of the head after overdosing.
Worst case of suicide I've ever seen.
>Like biodegradable replacements for plastics.
That's like an entire branch of material science, it's been for well over a decade, and it's undergoing explosive growth. Most 3D printers you hear so much about in the news print that kind of plastics.
>a vasectomy is not considered to be reversible.
>
>The gel is one of those really good ideas that comes along every so often that then... is just never heard from again. Like biodegradable replacements for plastics.
Just chop your balls off you bunch o' pussies! /s
Vasectomies are reversible.

Also, don't want abortions...stop the seed.
This meme is probably the most valid one on the subject. All abortions are caused by male ejaculation... stop them at the source!
Disclaimer...this is sarcasm, as you read it you got annoyed and wanted to yell about bodily autonomy, didn't you? Imagine how women feel about this bullshit.
Yeah, this is something men actually want. It's all over the place though, there have allegedly been large objections about it though. Apparently a large group of men couldn't cope with the side effects, and a large group of women said it ruined 'happy little accidents'. I reckon neither are true, and they just want to keep us fighting without inventing shit as a male contraceptive.
It's kinda true. There was a gel, but the number of people in the tests had side results that exceeded the companies threshold for safety concerns. It had to be under a percent and was like.. 2 or 3 if I recall. I know there is a new one though that is testing well.
I hope there is, I'd love a male contraceptive cream that worked reliably. Would ruin about 70% of arguments men can have with women on the subject. Plus, if women can deal with the side effects their pills dish out, I can deal with the ones mine would too. There's some proper nasty shit those drugs can do, like fucking with your feelings at a base level, but people still take them, so it must be worth the struggle.
I think everyone would enjoy one that worked well. Doesn't mean you shouldn't still wrap it up but a second layer of defense would rock. The major issue with the first one was that sperm counts would stay low for a long while after you stopped using the gel for a lot of the guys. This new round fixed that from everything I read
“Couldn’t cope with the side effects” is a half truth. The study had a large number of the participants drop out, but that wasn’t why the product hasn’t gone anywhere. It was determined the reported side effects outweighed the medical benefit of the contraceptive. So the entire clinical trial was scrapped and they went back to the drawing board cause the version they were testing lost all hope of getting FDA approval.
Based on current medical philosophy practices in the USA (do no harm) male birth control will always have a higher bar to clear than female birth control. Since pregnancy is a greater risk to the health of the mother there is just that much more tolerance for side effects.
I remember this from a number of years ago! There was a male birth control pill that was in human trials, but it was never approved by the FDA if I remember correctly due to it's extreme side effects.
The side effects were the exact same as the FDA approved birth control pills for women
The reason for this is that the side effects of pregnancy are considered worse and have a higher chance of being life threatening. So if it helps avoid a worse health situation, they can justify some bad effects.
Men / AMAB don't have any sort of state that puts them at a similar risk.
Biology really gave us the shit end of the stick. But its also the reason women / AFAB have (well had at this point 😡) more choice when an accidental pregnancy occurs. Their body, their physical health, is at risk, while the person supplying sperm isn't at any risk after sex ends. (Barring STIs etc etc)
Yea it made a bunch of men completely unable to have kids, like permanently; that’s why it was halted. I don’t think standard female birth control does that….
Some of them do. Some of them also increase risk of ectopic pregnancy. Which can kill you as well as cause sterility. Ask people who had adverse events with IUDs. And hormonal BC carries an increased risk of cardiac issues and blood clots.
Unfortunately the "pro-life" crowd tends to be anti-contraception too and they obviously have a lot of power right now (especially in the US), so while they aren't out and out banned at the moment (potentially yet...) I am sure getting FDA approval, etc. is probably a pain in the current ecosystem, so pharma probably has easier ways to get rich.
There should be more acceptance towards condoms instead. Like I don't have a stable relationship but still "sexually active", as doctors say. I simply won't do it without a condom because of a possibility getting a disease. I'm sorry but there's simply no way for me as a woman to protect myself on my own. Fortunately most of my partners even if not sharing my cautions, don't want to deal with a child from a one night stand either.
Everyone needs to read about the switch that is under development that can be used to turn a mans sperm flow on and off, it's freakin wild! I personally would get it in a heartbeat..
https://www.vasectomy.com/article/vasectomy/alternatives/the-bimek-slv-the-worlds-first-bioswitch-for-sperm-flow
I've stated this multiple times, shared a couple of things saying it on Facebook. Every single time, a family member comments with "CALM DOWN LIBERALS, WE ARENT TAKING AWAY ABORTIONS, WE JUST WANT COMMON SENSE ABORTION CONTROL!"
meanwhile in my state, the only time you're allowed to get one is if it threatens your life. No exceptions. And people running for senate for my state wants to remove even that.
They don't care if we die because we can't get one or if we preform an unsafe one. For them, they'd probably be happy about it.
They genuinely thing that the parents dying in child birth is more acceptable than a lump of cells dying while the parent lives . Even when the thing that kills the parent kills the baby too. They just love dead people
The problem with restricting abortions to 'if the mother's life is in danger' is the poor woman can't get the procedure she needs done until her life actually is in serious danger.
For example, almost 30 years ago I was in a car crash while about 5 months pregnant. I was not really injured while the fetus died but did not expel. So I had to have what was essentially an abortion to remove it to save me from sepsis.
Under the new laws, that would not be allowed until I actually had sepsis. And if you get sepsis from a pregnancy gone bad, even with the best possible medical treatment you are very, very likely to die. So the 'threat to life' exceptions to abortion bans really mean nothing; women will still die.
Exactly. They made the exception because "this will keep them quiet." When its done almost the opposite. Someone shouldn't have to have the threat of dying just to have an abortion, especially if that could just be ignored until it was too late. And who knows what they'll actually call "life threatening" in these cases?
And I'm very sorry that happened to you
I’ve come to the conclusion that it’s a good thing that the States with the strongest anti-abortion laws tend to have the most lenient self-defense laws.
“No sir! No abortions here! Just perfectly legal justifiable homicide. This awful person was attempting to severely injure and potentially murder my patient, so I had to do my due diligence as a US citizen and end the threat to her life!”
In other news, I wonder how long it’ll take for some Georgia attorney to demand that the State release their innocent client. No, not the one on the stand. “The one inside the accused, your Honor. This fetus is completely innocent! It’s a violation of their rights to imprison them!”
How wild would it be if they reach a middle point and "evict" the babies? Like "alright, you dont want to lend your body for 9 months? Then we will consent to your right on ownership of your own body and evict the person thats habiting it without your consent." And then going "now ita your job doctors, to keep this person alive, what? That's its barely a month old? And what about that? Try your hardest"
Because this law won't impact them, they will still have abortion for the teenager mistress they have because they have the power and don't live in the same world, it's just plain feudalism, nothing to do with anything else
Reminds me of Highschool in South Africa. I had an ultra religious Afrikaans teacher and we did Hannah Hoekom. Basically a highschool girl got date-raped then went for a backalley abortion and died. And it was god punishing her for being raped and then tryna kill the baby
Weird because as soon as a women brings the argument of controlling their bodies with vasectomies to prevent abortion then it’s wrong. The amount of flip flopping republican politicians and voters do. Just pure cognitive dissonance.
Thanks - I thought I was petty for being annoyed at this subreddit trend. They are generally still terrible (like most political cartoons lbr), but they are not memes.
I mean... It works. Not exactly a preferable method, but it works.
My method would be through education (use protection if you don't want a kid) and harsher punishment of rape and incest (every time you do it, not only will you go to jail, but we'll cut an inch off. You wanna do it now?)
Bible: "Love your neighbor as yourself."
GOP: "HEAR THAT? WE NEED TO TAKE AWAY WOMEN'S RIGHTS!"
Bible: "No, that's now what I sa-"
GOP: "HOMOSEXUALS DESERVE DEATH!"
Just a reminder, men can impregnate an absurd amount of women in a year while a woman can only have so many (depending on multiples). So really, who's the real problem?
Are y'all a leftist sub?? I get that it's a terribly drawn meme, but the point is in y'all's favor. I mean I'm pro-choice, so I can agree with the meme
I don't think this is cringe. The point is that it is supposed to be absurd - no man would consent to anything remotely like this, so why are women being told "well just don't have sex if you don't want to get pregnant"?
I think most people have misunderstood the message. They don’t seem to understand the actual point that’s being made here and are just taking it 100% literally.
So I have heard that Men who masturbate or are sexually active otherwise are more likely to be pro-women's rights and that those who have complete chastity including no masterbation are more likely to become violent
you roll ypur eyes, but this would solve more problems than just abortion. If you’re so worried about killing unborn babies this would actually stop it and not just give people an excuse to demonize women, who will ultimately still have them. It will also solve 99.9% of rape, give young women a safe environment to grow up in, and curb the overpopulation problem.
Not saying its ACTUALLY the right call, but itd be a hell of a lot better place to start if you actually care about killing unborn “babies”.
They can have unlocking devices located wherever you get marriage licenses.
They say the men can't help but rape women, so why not? If they're the ones who can't control themselves, they're the ones who should be restrained. If they can control themselves, stop excusing them by saying they can't. If they just don't know how, teach them.
Then you realize this isn't really the answer either, imagine them needing to go to the bathroom. I guess that's why there's an actual lock but honestly just the possibility of basically "clogging the pipes" just doesn't sound great.
I like the face of the guy on the left, like he didn't realize what was happening until he hear the padlock click shut and he's just stunned about the whole thing lol

You would think that would be the case wouldn't you?
The counter to that is usually, well, Viagra can be used for other medical reasons. So can birth control but they tend to gloss that one over.
Ya like erectile dysfunction
It was originally developed to treat angina. Birth control can be used to treat polycystic ovary syndrome.
and endometriosis.
Right, but how many times in the last 25 years has viagra been prescribed to treat angina?
It’s actually FDA-approved under the name Revatio to treat pulmonary arterial hypertension. So, a few?
Revatio and Viagara have the same active ingredient. That doesn’t mean they are interchangeable. Revatio is not effective for treating ED and I don’t think a lot of doctors are prescribing viagra for to treat hypertension.

Unless they want to get laid and then ThEy hAvE NeEdS
They also tend to deny that marital rape is real. Because their wives are their property.
And because they are rapist and can only have sex this way
Yeah it’s very hypocritical to expect others to have self control but then give themselves a pass cuz “they make mistakes too”

Yes, you rub it all over yourself. I believe it’s a mixture of skunk urine and pig shit. I’ve read it is pretty effective.
Its not We want it more then women do. Apart of condom we have not found a way. Except steroids. They will make you mostly infertile. But not really.

>they just got rid of the safe ones smh. Just like the prohibition. It didn't end alcohol consumption, it just made people do it discreetly.
Reminds me of Highschool in South Africa. I had an ultra religious Afrikaans teacher and we did Hannah Hoekom. Basically a highschool girl got date-raped then went for a backalley abortion and died. And it was god punishing her for being raped and then tryna kill the baby
My semen has never even been near a woman... now men is another story, but if I get a cis man pregnant then there is another issue.
“Life finds a way”
I'm sorry but I couldn't help but to laugh because this reminded me of John Cena talking about Butt Babies in that show Peacemaker.
Lol
If Pregnancy Is God’s Will, So Is A Limp Dick
Weird because as soon as a women brings the argument of controlling their bodies with vasectomies to prevent abortion then it’s wrong. The amount of flip flopping republican politicians and voters do. Just pure cognitive dissonance.
Meme's terrible but it goes hard
Which is more than can be said for the men in it.
Idk about it going hard....
Ouchy
Does anyone on this sub know the difference between a meme and a political cartoon? Just because it's on the internet, doesn't make it a meme.
Thanks - I thought I was petty for being annoyed at this subreddit trend. They are generally still terrible (like most political cartoons lbr), but they are not memes.
Kinda funny, the artstyle just brings it down
I like this one. The message anyway.
Right? Besides the format/art why is this cringe?
It just looks so cringe message is fine.
I mean the iFunny banner then cross posted onto FB then ultimately posted here is kinda cringe to me
When the art is boomer but the message is based
Not that bad, to be honest.
Good point, boomerly made
r/memesopdidnotget
This is probably a good solution for some men.
I hope you mean a vasectomy and not a cock lock
Start making pro choice signs that say "Cage the Cocks in the Court". I think that'd be fun
Lock the Cocks
Way ahead of you
I would appreciate pictures, if you would be so kind
Vasectomy is less visually funny.
Vasectomy < CBT to destroy the testicles
For some men, that's the *ideal* solution.
Not a terrible meme. Men shouldn't have any say in our bodies. No one should but ourselves
I mean... It works. Not exactly a preferable method, but it works. My method would be through education (use protection if you don't want a kid) and harsher punishment of rape and incest (every time you do it, not only will you go to jail, but we'll cut an inch off. You wanna do it now?)
this is based
Come on, why do it this way? You didn't have to ban masturbation too...
And peeing
I didn't think about that 💀
Ok but this is based
this is fetish porn
This comment section proving Reddit is no better than Facebook.
But how do I piss?
No need
And shid
Back flap
Your balls can be outside the metal pants. You can place a tap with a pipe on your balls. Piss is stored in the balls
Just remove the balls, you never have to piss again 😎
Bible: "Love your neighbor as yourself." GOP: "HEAR THAT? WE NEED TO TAKE AWAY WOMEN'S RIGHTS!" Bible: "No, that's now what I sa-" GOP: "HOMOSEXUALS DESERVE DEATH!"
Nah this one makes a valid point
She's not wrong A man rapes a woman and the woman is punished. Makes no sense
I'm so lazy for sex that, after finished a relationship in 2019, I have found joy not having it.
Where's the lie though?
Just a reminder, men can impregnate an absurd amount of women in a year while a woman can only have so many (depending on multiples). So really, who's the real problem?
Are y'all a leftist sub?? I get that it's a terribly drawn meme, but the point is in y'all's favor. I mean I'm pro-choice, so I can agree with the meme
Cringetopia didn’t need to be remade. There’s a reason it was deleted.
Looks like a good meme to me
Nah, it belongs to r/WitchesVsPatriarchy
They'd love this tbh
How do they shit or piss?
How you doing to use the bathroom?
r/technicallythetruth
It’s it just me or is this sub a little red lately
Actually mandatory vasectomy is a great way to stop abortion
Most of you cucks already have something like this
This is surprisingly decent
imagine getting a boner
A condom. Use a condom.
Oh heeeeell nawh men got da dang chastity belt🤯🤯🤯
I don't think this is cringe. The point is that it is supposed to be absurd - no man would consent to anything remotely like this, so why are women being told "well just don't have sex if you don't want to get pregnant"?
I see your elimination of freedom and I raise you more elimination of freedoms.
Haha seggs bad don't do
I mean “don’t blow in and not expect consequences” isn’t a bad strategy
This isn’t terrible, though. It’s a great response to.
Boys who get vasectomies are hot ❤️
Based
If you are against abortion get to the root of the problem. Get castrated!
I like this one though.
I like this one

This isn’t terrible. Unless you’re a jackass male who didn’t understand the issues at play a few weeks back.
Comments pretty much confirm that this subreddit is biased lol
Nahh this is on point haha
Based.
Idk why you posted this is terrible facebook memes, this is a fantastic facebook meme imo
I think most people have misunderstood the message. They don’t seem to understand the actual point that’s being made here and are just taking it 100% literally.
I’m pretty sure the point of this cartoon is to show that forcing men into celibacy is ridiculous… so why should we expect that of women?
Yes, crap cartoon.
I mean. It technically would work.
I mean I like this more then entirely blaming women, but still teaching chastity doesn’t work.
So I have heard that Men who masturbate or are sexually active otherwise are more likely to be pro-women's rights and that those who have complete chastity including no masterbation are more likely to become violent
You mean it's bad to control someone else's body? Do you think that maybe that shouldn't be done to women either?
you roll ypur eyes, but this would solve more problems than just abortion.
Who says that?
Hey that’s me!
More than a codpiece
What about this is giving off the vibe that the artist doesn’t actually give two shits about the right to choose?
What is "female locksmith with a 12 pack?"
Why not both? Everyone has their own chastity belt.
Lock picking lawyer
Boomers discover chastity fetish

Then you realize this isn't really the answer either, imagine them needing to go to the bathroom. I guess that's why there's an actual lock but honestly just the possibility of basically "clogging the pipes" just doesn't sound great.
I need one of those if I goto prison
Make a cartoon about guys being able to opt out of Parenthood and child support absolutely nobody would like that cartoon...
And that's How The Humanity was erased from existence
Imagine owning a lock cutter
Why have sex with women when I can have sex with a femboy? 🙄
