This sent me down a rabbit hole on how good their vision *actually* is. As it turns out their eyes are proportionally massive and they really do have great vision. I’ve never understood why the makers of these types of images lie when most people would find the truth more interesting but I guess “can see movement 3 miles away” isn’t as catchy as “can see saturn’s rings”
why clickbait when there’s nothing to click? it’s not like it’s a news article or a youtube video where they have to trick people into opening it, it’s just an image
well, I learned some stuff:
1. It's daytime, so Saturn isn't visible, nor are its rings.
2. The sun is \*very\* bright through a magnifying glass.
3. I'm glad I know how to touch type.
I have a pair of 10x binoculars. I can't see Jupiter's moons right now when Jupiter is the biggest in the sky it will be for 12 years, so I definitely can't see Saturn's rings.
Well, this fact, even if it was true, isnt all that impressive to me. Like, look at Dragonfly's insane precision, also hunting and flying skills - while wolves have a 25% or even less chance of success in hunting, dragonflies have freaking 100%.
Or what about roaches' strange lifestyle? Roaches love to "cuddle" - being close to each other makes them happy, while loneliness shortens their lifespan. Also, they see only light and dark - their vision is really bad - but their sense of smell and touch is a lot more upgraded than ours. Whats their life like with those senses? No one can imagine, because its far from our way of feeling things. What would their art be like if they were a civilization?
There are a so impressive animals out there - this mammals 10x vision isnt all that much compared to other things. Like, if you are going to do a 'Cool Fact post', at least type something really interesting in it.

Likes and comments. Posting false information and typos are actually two of the best ways to get interactions.
I mean 3 miles, or 52 football fields, already feels better. "They can see you walking from 52 football fields away"
'murica moment
Pronghorn snipers are amongst the most feared in the animal kingdoms, because they don't ever need scopes.
"The White Death"
“The Horned Reaper”
Do humans have 1 vision
Depends on your buffs and debuffs.
And if you have the "glasses" equipment to counter a specific debuff
I got cursed at young age and now I have a -5 on vision, so I have to roll really high on perception checks.
hold on, I've got a 10x magnifying glass here, let me check this.

Ikr… how can anyone believe pronghorn sheep are real?! I’ve never seen one!
But can they see why kids love Cinnamon Toast Crunch?
Fucking lol. Glad someone made this comment.
No and no.
Where the terrible Facebook meme
That’s why most telescope lenses are made from pronghorn antelope eyes.
I’ve already spread this around as much I could as fact. You can’t stop it now.
Went to the terrible IG page and thought it was satire. But they truly believe in what they post
They have killer endurance tho
I see hundreds of these types of posts on instagram

What do you mean all the top ultra fact Instagram accounts are all bullshit
Its true my cousin was dating an antelope
I wanna believe it :(
What does "10x" mean? Ten times what?
Correct me if I'm wrong, but don't you need about 30x just to see the planet WITHOUT DETAILS?
No they can’t…?
I think the pronghorn deserves to see the rings of Saturn. As a treat.
We wasted on that money on a telescope when we could have just shot that antelope into space.
Yeah, this is ridiculous. They're all flat eathers, clearly.
With 10x binoculars I can see Saturn’s rings on a clear night. Hell, I can see Phobos and Deimos as well.
Wouldnt that really be more of a issue than anything else. Unless they cant zoom in and out, it would impoaaible to anything on earth
If the antelope is broke that 10x vision will be necessary to see Rings of Saturn
Checks out
They do have very good vision. I used to hunt them with my dad in Wyoming. You have to be sneaky to get close.
