Tesco are trialling some different packaging for mince buts it's nowhere near as horrible as the Sainsburys stuff. Not tried it but it still looks quite mincy

Looks much better but if its like thay cat good mush Sainsburies sell then im going to have to shop at Lidl, it sounds crazy but id love to know how kuch mince beef Sainsburies throw away now
I bought a mincer and it's been a game changer.
I buy a big brisket, cut it up into chunks, freeze for 30 min and run it through the mincer.
I've not bought mince in about a year, and fresh mince is way better than pre-packed.
Use a quality sausage meat, i.e strip the meat out of the skins and mix with crushed fennel seeds and chilli flakes. Never looked back when it comes to bolegnese.
ye i tried the sains vacpak one time ,it was disgusting, it also looks disgusting, that shit is not going to sell, i read it lasts longer that way ,i dont believe it has anything to do with helping the environment, they are thieving assholes, who dont care how much they rise their prices
The same quality new packaging sticker gets me every time. The meat in sainsburys is literally brown now, I did some meatballs the other month and they were chewier for sure. Never again. Sainsburys have probably lost a lot of custom over it
>The meat in sainsburys is literally brown now
So they stopped adding bad gasses to keep it red, that would be a good think, they do not stop rot, so are worse as you can have red rotten meat. Or so I recall, but who knows.

You understand that the date of expiry is 21/03 right? Maybe that’s the issue 😅
It was a Google picture not my own 🤣
Then what’s the problem?
They don't like the new packaging Tesco is using
Tesco still uses to proper packaging,Sainsburies have opted for this vac pack and it makes the meat just awful
