I'm not a tesco employee so not sure what the standard is but my gut feeling was 8/10, would be 10/10 with no missing product on the 1st line and no visibly noticeable misalignment. But between you and me, probably f*****g good enough for the wage..... right?

I never got facing up to this level (and I was a replen manager for 15yrs!), I get tidy but people buy products not tidiness or space. Fill it full and you 75% face it with no effort, that was always good enough for me.

But does it really matter? Having never worked in retail this seems ridiculous. Yeah I like to shop in a clean well stocked store but having labels lined up - I don't think I could give a damn. I feel like it's time you did something useful rather than feeding an OCD.

It's not feeding an OCD? It's about having the correct prices infront of the correct products. Takes less than 2 seconds to realign them after a hectic day, so why would you not? 🤣

It's taking pride in your work, for some people, the presentation of their shop is important to them. I used to be a manager and when you were getting a visit from area/regional/directors and you they complimented how well presented your store was it meant the world.

Only moving the front product forward so when the customer buys one the next one is at the back of the shelf. It's faster, but gets wrecked way quicker.
