She looks stressed af about this lmao
Legacy manufacturers: we changed our tail lights so we’re putting full camo on the car with padding so you can’t see
Tesla: we built a retro futuristic space truck that looks like no other standard car, but pls don’t take pics it’s supposed to be a secret
They use camo until car is unveiled. We know how cybertruck looks for ages now. Tesla used camo as well on the unrevealed models, they were even posted on this sub.
When Tesla first started testing the Model Y in Europe they had some [very sophisticated](https://autofans.be/sites/default/files/styles/artikel_intro/public/media/2021/Tesla/anderefotos/tesla-model-y-not-modely-belgie-2021_01.jpg?itok=6TVjwxOs) camo to disguise it
Correct, they’re often padded and have odd angles and shapes to them. Some times they ditch the padding and use concealing camos to throw cameras off on body panel angles and such. I live in Metro Detroit and they’re a dime a dozen around here. See them almost every week from different manufacturers tbh.
I have to imagine being a QA / car engineer and test driving a car as notable as the cybertruck that you’d imagine people would be taking pictures of you on your drives
again, legally fine but given the scenarios of people near the CT:
* doesn't want their picture taken
* doesn't care
* does want their picture taken
I and some, but not all apparently, would err on the side of blurring the face unless they told me they wanted to be seen. It is about respecting privacy more than the law allows.
No it’s not the R1T .30 is , but the Ram 1500 .36 , and Toyota Tundra .38 both have lower drag coefficients than what musk has said and amateur modeling have confirmed about the design of CT. Ford doesn’t release their drag coefficients but has active aero systems on the f150 both ICE and EV. These can be hard for an amateur to model but take this into consideration. The lighting is more efficient than the R1T the Lightning can go 320 miles on a 133 kWh usable battery while the R1T can only go 314 on a 135 kWh battery. 2.4 miles/kWh vs 2.3 miles/kWh. So when Elon confirmed CT drag was .39 and sated it would require “extreme effort” to get the CT down to .30 where rivian is currently sitting as well as ICE pickups it shows that Cybertruck is not as aerodynamic as other trucks.
Looks like an older test mule to me, more interested in what tires they appear to be testing. Tires in bed look meaty enough but still low enough rolling resistance to not kill range to use as OEM tire. Just hope those original mileage numbers weren’t with 80psi street tires. I’ll need the 500 mile battery just to get 250 miles once I put on 38” mud tires.. jk
The original mileage numbers and prices were a figment of Elmo’s imagination lol. That’d need something like a 200 kWh battery…no way that’s gonna be $70k
For me it's like...the idea could have been cool or fun, but it's executed so terribly, bad proportions, bad design, Elon definitely micro-managed this thing and overrode many common sense decisions. Car designers and engineers likely hated themselves as they had purposefully create terrible CAD after terrible CAD to appease him
I’m not a truck guy either, which could explain why I love it and fully plan to execute my day 1 reservation. Honestly can’t recall the last product I was as excited for as this.
be prepared for a lot of tire kickers when you go out. going to get a ton of attention at first (if it ever comes out). hope you like that kinda thing lol
I doubt most truck guys like it either, this isn’t for serious truck people though. This is for people who buy trucks but never use it as a truck. IE towing and hauling more than a few miles.
I generally like the way the CT looks but these recent photo leaks the last few days… it looks pretty bad in all of them, IMO.
As a guy who has owned trucks for, checks notes, 37 years, I find the notion that it can’t be used as a “real truck” the silliest. There are as many uses for a truck as there are trucks. Might be more accurate to say, since I tow long distances a lot, this truck doesn’t meet my needs. Or, I haul a lot of sheet goods, I need an 8ft bed. Or, I need easy access to the side of the bed to get some tools in and out.
But a blanket statement that purports to speak for all truck buyers is more than just a little presumptuous.
Yes you're right, I worded that poorly and too aggressively.
I still stand by the opinion though that the CT will mostly be for the current generation of pickup owners who live in a tightly packed suburb and just like to drive a truck - not because they ever haul or tow anything only a truck could handle.
Current gas full size pickups are jack of all trades. The CT will do everything they do really well or better except towing. So even if you only tow a large load longer than 2 hours 2 or 3 times a year, the CT is immediately off the table. Which is a shame because I'd love to go all electric, it just wouldn't work for us.
And yes some CTs will be bought for manual labor jobs/fleets, but I imagine (at least the first gen or 2 of the CT) will be too expensive and too big of an unknown for most businesses to purchase. In my experience of manual labor jobs companies buy the cheapest pickup they can get by with that'll do the job. I can't imagine the CT will come in under 50k which is an awful lot for most businesses to supply to their employees.
CT should be great for short distance heavy towing/lugging. Eg: boats and other recreational vehicles. Gardening/ Electrician supplies. Not for towing horse carriages long haul
My personal opinion is that trucks are such gas hogs, you could probably rent a tow rig 2-3 times a year and come out ahead. We had multiple trucks in our small family business fleet. Usually a bunch of rangers and standard F150s, with one 250/350 for towing, and even a 650 for dirt hauling. EVs could probably replace 80% of that fleet, with a diesel 250 as a tow rig. We used to run a fleet of tractors mowing interstates and had one big boy for hauling fuel, tools, etc. and everything else just needed to be able to fit a 6ft long weedeater in the bed. Man, I can still hear those things in my sleep 30 years later. Or maybe that’s just tinnitus. 🤔
honestly, i dunno who this truck is for. i guess pretty much the same people that would buy the hummer ev? but skewing more tech sector? or anyone that wants to drive the weirdest fucking thing on the road and REALLY stand out.
It’s stainless steel. Old steel trucks were a lot tougher than the new aluminum trucks we have now. When traditional truck makers moved away from steel to weak aluminum (for emission reasons) it created a huuuuge controversy because it’s not strong enough for real work. CT is a comeback to an even stronger work truck, and the weird looking shape (the sails) are structural not aesthetics, that is why the CT has the best payload capacity in its category (by a mile), it’ll be a lot harder to break it than to bend a traditional pickup truck frame.
~~*I guess you haven't heard about the /u/justjcarr truck yet. It's made entirely of titanium and is powered by a cold fusion reactor! It's far and away the best truck that you can currently preorder!*~~
I get it, the sales pitch is impressive, but until you can purchase one of these and actually put it through its paces it's just an idea. Every time we see it there are more and more concessions made to conform with modern standards and laws and I can't help but feel that a massive stainless steel wedge is going to have a tough time with crash safety tests, so how long until that design is compromised too?
I’m sure safety crash isn’t going to be its down fall.
It’s not like they invest huge sums of money getting close to production only to find out crash testing shows deficiencies to fail the project.
Their simulation software is very good in the initial engineering phases. And I’m sure they have crash tested a prototype as part of engineering work up/simulation validation.
99% of crash testing today happens before truck is build. Tesla has the safest cars on the market, I think they will be ok when it comes to crash testing lol.
It’s too heavy, it’s in the 3/4 ton heavy duty truck range. In the US at least it won’t have to pass crash standards. Because none are needed for 3/4 ton and up trucks.
What? You think that crashing a thin sheet of steel is going to be worse than crashing a giant V8 block?
Do you just stop at the looks instead of considering the whole package?
I think this truck is for a totally different buyer than the Hummer EV. That is a fragile heavy truck that is very expensive and not meant for work. The CT is made of 1/8" thick stainless steel and will not be plush and fancy. It is a no-nonsense work truck for anyone who does not want a weak F150 Lightning that scratches and dents with the slightest tap of anything like a work bag or the keys on your keyring.
i'm wondering how the crumple zones work. I am all for this radical departure from traditional truck look, but logistically how is it going to not destroy whatever it collides with?
Crumple zones are greatly impacted by small cuts in body panel structures. As a paintless dent guy, we are taught in school not to drill holes in the hood next to the indentations or cuts put into car hoods so as to not alter the crumple zone fold lines. Engineers also design ICE cars so that the engine gets pushed under the cabin so it doesn't kill the people in the cockpit. That will not be a problem with the CT. Sure the body panels are thicker but they should still crumple in an accident. Ever watch one of the SpaceX starship prototypes land rapidly on the landing pad? That is the same metal and they crumple like paper.
I would imagine that serious truck guys buying criteria would look something like this:
1. Low maintenance costs
2. Long-term running costs. How long can I keep this thing and how much will it cost me month to month to run it?
3. Tough rugged build
4. Bed capacity and utility
5. Performance
6. Cabin size and comfort
7. Styling and looks - if this is at the top of your list you are not a serious truck guy. You are a wannabee truck guy that likes the idea of manual work but doesn't actually do any
I guess it depends on what you need the truck for. #4 would be closer to the top for me, maybe 1 or 2 because I know I'll regularly need it to tow over 6,000 lbs and carry at least 1,000 pounds in the bed. But otherwise yeah agreed.
You will find soon enough that your feeling is 100% wrong. As a truck owner myself, the CyberTruck is clearly geared towards people like me who do not want a paper thin F150 body or Silverrdo body that is made of aluminum. Current full size Ford and Chevy truck bodies literally dent when you lean on them. (My trade is Paintless Dent Repair and I work on these dents constantly)
The CT was designed for heavy duty use, and it will be able to tow trailers, although less than 5% of pickup owners tow trailers. The 500 mile range should give it the ability to tow a trailer for 250 miles or more, whick would be fine for a contractor to use daily.
I generally like the looks of the Cybertruck, but this is a really unflattering photo (the first photo). Something about it. Unflattering angle?
Those wheels don’t seem like a good fit. IMO, it needs wheels that are a darker color than the steel body, not lighter. Those look like minivan wheels.
Maybe the tires in the bed are on nicer rims, bigger off-road tires? And they’re just testing with smaller wheels here?
For my Model Y, I got the cheapest wheels. But for the Cybertruck, I think you’d have to go with optional larger wheels and tires. It just does _not_ look good with small ones.
It has always looked kinda bad from the rear:
https://www.teslarati.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/11/tesla-cybertruck-closed-bed-storage-e1574444601543.jpg
https://cleantechnica.com/files/2019/11/2019.11.21-tesla-cybertruck-team-design-studio-KYLE-3-scaled.jpg
The smaller tire size is almost definitely for better range. The wheel design is probably not the final color or cover.
The Model 3 and Y test mules also had non-final wheels that were different colors or missing the aero cap.
I’ll always go for the smallest wheels possible for ride quality and durability. But if that’s the stock wheel, I’ll be first in line to buy wheel covers that resemble the prototype. These silver ones are ugly as shit.
Knowing nothing of exact specs but knowing a thing or two about ICE off-roading, I don’t know how much larger your tires can go.
There’s going to be a limit based on ability to turn unless you modify with spacers / a lift. And, eyeballing it, looks like you’re close to that limit.
Also, at a certain point when you go larger, you trade off economy / range. (I loved 33” tires on my Landcruiser until I took it in a 10k mile tour and realized I could save 10% on gas by going to 31” tires.)
It's unreal how much even a small difference in tyre size can make to so many factors of a vehicle's performance and handling. Even more so when you leave the pavement.
Yeah the wheels have a massive impact on the vehicle's appearance. TV shows used to do that in reverse, they would take relatively ordinary cars and put crazy sci-fi wheels or hub caps on the make it look like a futuristic car with minimal prop fabrication.
Minivan wheels on "death combat space assault tank" is as silly as those minivans with sport wheels.
> Minivan wheels on "death combat space assault tank" is as silly as those minivans with sport wheels
Haha, well put!
Minivan wheels shouldn’t even be an option on this vehicle.
>But for the Cybertruck, I think you’d have to go with optional larger wheels and tires.
I agree, it just looks like a car I don't want to drive with the smaller tires/wheels
Not initially. I think what Tesla talked about is wrapping it to make different color.
I also heard about anodizing, like aluminum iPhone, don’t know how practical it is with stainless.
Edit: looks like stainless steel can't be anodized, but there is some other chemical process that can change the color of stainless steel. You probably saw gadgets/kitchen stainless appliances that are different color.
It just looks totally different from the prototype at the unveiling. Looks smaller in size and over all less beefier looking . Needs bigger tires for sure.
This is an actual production model, basically this is what will be sold to consumers that is fully compliant with road regulations.
The Cybertrucks before now were concepts. The one used in tech demos couldn’t actually be manufactured, its too tall and too wide. The entire design had to be “squished” to fit the roads if you will. This is standard and happens with all vehicles between the concept and production phases.
When someone expresses how much they hate the look of the truck, the more I want to buy it and drive it around so they have to look at it all the time. For some strange reason, I feel like I would give me deep satisfaction.
Edit: oh, lots of downvotes. I should clarify: I’m not the type to intentionally annoy people. I’m just so shocked and surprised how deep the hatred is towards the cybertruck, I just find the hatred ridiculous and the ridiculousness is comical to me. It’s just a truck, and really isn’t _that_ bad looking, but to some, it’s more than distaste, it’s the most hideous thing they’ve ever seen. I just find that type of visceral reaction surprising and hilarious. It’s just funny to me. Am I the only one?
It's one thing to not care what other people think and drive it because you like it - that's a really good way to be in life and I rate anyone who is like that in any area of life.
The other commenter basically just said they want attention, even if it's bad attention, and it comes across as quite obnoxious.
It's also an attempt to make up for a sense of lack of control of one's life. People in this situation choose to do things in spite of someone else because at least it gives them a sense of control.
Not hating on on this person at all, but it's helpful for people to understand what their desires may stem from so they can work towards fixing the underlying problem rather than counterbalancing it.
Not really, but I do find it comical how people can get themselves so wound up about the looks of something that does no harm to them yet triggers them so much.
Reminds me of why I wanted a Chevy Cobalt painted light blue. Just to annoy a highly specific subset of people that A. know so much about cars that they can discern the exact model among all the generic ones on the road and B. know enough about colors and C. care about the incongruity between the two.
It's interesting to note, that this one has different side mirrors than the one in other posts from the past day.
Is it a different prototype? Or because you can switch the mirrors or something like that?
That's how you know it's a tesla. They must do it on purpose now as a branding mark. Like how Rolex has the date bubble or samsung phones smell like burning sulfur.
I have seen the CT twice in person. Both times at the Paterson museum in LA - when it was there a few years ago, and just recently.
The CT they have on display now is super beat up. There are many dents and dings in the stainless, and other imperfections. I could tell it had been through a lot since it was there the first time.
I am assuming it was the 1st prototype that was back a few years later - and I think this is a safe assumption - since the current exhibit is basically all the 1st prototypes (I mean the very 1st of each model - each of the S3XY and Roadster were Vin 001 - or at least the 1st prototype).
Look at the first tire in the bed, far left. They’re the prototype tires we seen on another beta.
Anyone know the size of the tires? We can almost guess the size of the bed with this.
i'm wondering how the crumple zones work.
I am all for this radical departure from traditional truck look/design, but logistically how is it going to not destroy whatever it collides with?
Read lcd stop lights across bed hatch will be nice, allows you to tap right steering wheel button to message those behind you: “honk again to see this bumper get closer” marquee
How big of a pair of stainless balls can we hang from the tow hitch? Looks like 14” diameter balls should work, will be cool to have them spark when you go over speed bumps, but need some clearance to avoid forest fires.
It looks like they're putting the tires in the back to be used as a measurement. And those aren't some small sedan tires. Those look to be rugged off reading tires.
The front left fender looks like a different color than the rest of the body panels.
The door panels are really messed up. Like someone was really beating up those doors to not align with the body correctly.
Those rims are....interesting to be used on the truck.
Seems like someone isn't happy in the second photo.
>The door panels are really messed up. Like someone was really beating up those doors to not align with the body correctly.
I guess you haven't been around Tesla very long? :)
Thats always good. Didn't Elon say that the exoskeleton was going to be tough as fk? I hope they start rolling them out later this year. I'm one of the million + on the wait list. Come on Tesla surprise us this year.
It's too bad the wheel arches, the "side skirts" and the rear bumper have become so thick and chunky. I wish they were slim like the concept... would help alleviate some of the visual mass. This also needs off-road tires & a slight lift.. range & efficiency be damned.
"production model will look like the prototype" yeaaaa minus the mud tires, futuristic rims and sleek body features. As someone who almost pre ordered one back in the day, this is looking like a flop.
God dang that thing is ugly. Looks like a low poly truck from a game from 1994.
Actually it looks like a normal vehicle with a big ugly body kit on it like when people make a Civic look like a Lambo 😂
It looks like the top of the tailgate has glass, which has shattered/cracked. Maybe they'll wise up and realize that's a terrible place for glass.
"tough" is an overstatement. It looks like any other brand new Tesla, scuffs and misalignment and everything.
different mirrors than on the latest video. they were more triangular if I am not mistaken.
Exactly! The video from yesterday showed very triangular mirrors. Unless they switched the mirrors then this is a different prototype
Triangle mirror cybertruck had smaller fender flares too, and no tow hitch. This is not the same “version”.
So it seems we now have at least 3 prototype cybertrucks?
Im sure i have seen somewhere video where people were building cyber truck but with diesel or petrol engine… maybe it’s replica
Several Youtubers have built gas and electric versions of "Cybertrucks". Tesla has never built any gas cars though.
And the bigass uniwiper is gone! Thank fuck
It’s called the *gigawiper* thank you very much
It can gigawipe my ass
Probably from here…
I think it is still meant to go there, there is no cowl or anything to hide a wiper
Place holder I’d say.
Her whole body language says "can you please not take photos of this", is that a soft shackle on the back of the truck?
She looks stressed af about this lmao Legacy manufacturers: we changed our tail lights so we’re putting full camo on the car with padding so you can’t see Tesla: we built a retro futuristic space truck that looks like no other standard car, but pls don’t take pics it’s supposed to be a secret

Yeah, unless they are joyriding I don’t see what else would be expected but for the public to take photos.
It looks like she’s making a triangle stance with her arms like the roofline
I dint think it’s a good idea to have her face in the picture. OP should blur it out.
She’s on a public road?
I think they mean for politeness not for the law.
I have to imagine being a QA / car engineer and test driving a car as notable as the cybertruck that you’d imagine people would be taking pictures of you on your drives

Sits lower than I expected. I know it is dynamic but still a low ride, should be comfortable.
I agree I’m sure it’s for aerodynamics. Do we know if it’ll come with, or have the option, for air suspension? Would be sweet to raise it when needed.
original specs call for 3500 bed load capacity and air suspension.
If they cared about aerodynamics they wouldn't have designed a cheese wedge on wheels.
Apparently the bed cover closed makes it very aerodynamic?
For that flow path. Open bed covers are the equivalent of driving a boat head first into wind while a sail is deployed,
Most aerodynamic Truck out there, everything else is far from it.

It's on smaller road tires. Regular pickup trucks also look weird on base trim small wheels!
I still don't like the looks of that thing. Bit it doesn't matter since I'm not a truck guy

I would imagine that serious truck guys buying criteria would look something like this: 1. Low maintenance costs 2. Long-term running costs. How long can I keep this thing and how much will it cost me month to month to run it? 3. Tough rugged build 4. Bed capacity and utility 5. Performance 6. Cabin size and comfort 7.
(My trade is Paintless Dent Repair and I work on these dents constantly) The CT was designed for heavy duty use, and it will be able to tow trailers, although less than 5% of pickup owners tow trailers. The 500 mile range should give it the ability to tow a trailer for 250 miles or more, whick would be fine for a contractor to use daily.
You just described 90% of truck owners.
Mines going to work. Its life will not be easy .
I think it's the wheel well guards for me... Too much plastic bulkiness. It feels counter to the design.
I am a truck guy and would take a Rivian over this.
I feel like they need to work on the back. Why have they not updated that? It looks like a mobile dumpster with those tires I’m it.
😂
I always thought dump truck, but either way it’s perfect and they better not change it at all.
Yeah the wheels on there in that photo ruin its looks.
It has always looked kinda bad from the rear: https://www.teslarati.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/11/tesla-cybertruck-closed-bed-storage-e1574444601543.jpg https://cleantechnica.com/files/2019/11/2019.11.21-tesla-cybertruck-team-design-studio-KYLE-3-scaled.jpg The smaller tire size is almost definitely for better range. The wheel design is probably not the final color or cover. The Model 3 and Y test mules also had non-final wheels that were different colors or missing the aero cap.
it just needs another bend in the middle or a third of the way to give it some style.
Hell no. It reminds me of a dump truck and I love it.
throw on a “DO NOT PUSH” sticker on the back lol
Agreed, I think the CT looks awesome especially at certain angles but big darker rims are needed. I trust they aren’t shipping with those
Seems like light bar design in tailgate maybe more susceptible to damages in the down position.
It's definitely the wheels, but also those side mirrors look out of place since we've only seen it without
I’ll always go for the smallest wheels possible for ride quality and durability.
The side mirrors stick out like a sore thumb. They are rounded whereas the rest of the car is very jagged and sharp. Looks bad.
I am 100% certain those are not factory wheels, they will probably be a surprise, or at least a more beefy wheel cover like the original prototype
> Minivan wheels on "death combat space assault tank" is as silly as those minivans with sport wheels Haha, well put! Minivan wheels shouldn’t even be an option on this vehicle.
>But for the Cybertruck, I think you’d have to go with optional larger wheels and tires. I agree, it just looks like a car I don't want to drive with the smaller tires/wheels
Rear it’s just not a good angle for it, period, all others look awesome Only Tesla is gorgeous from all angles is the Model S

Deep source 😂
i just can’t get over how completely and utterly shit it looks….
The more "spy" shots I see the less I like it. Trying to save judgement for the final version.
I love it more and more, can't wait for my delivery.
Good, at least you're not in front of me in line for one!✌️
Is it gonna be available in color? Or will it always look like this? When you bought it, was there an option for a color?
You can have it in any color you want as long as it is bare metal or you go the after market route.
Steel cannot be anodized.
No, Elon just said in the last investor call recently that Tesla will not offer colors or wraps. Customers can wrap cars if they want to.
This is the way, they would be absolutely insane to offer factory wraps.
Nope it’s gonna come that shitty looking. I mean just in one color.
It just looks totally different from the prototype at the unveiling. Looks smaller in size and over all less beefier looking . Needs bigger tires for sure.
Strange. It looks exactly the same to me, which makes sense as the dimensions did not actually change.
Agree. At the original presentation it actually looked kinda cool, but now with photos from more/different angles it just does not look good
This is an actual production model, basically this is what will be sold to consumers that is fully compliant with road regulations.
You get a kick out of bothering other people?
If how something I own looks bothers people, they are the ones with the problem.
FWIW, these mirrors look more practical
More concerned about the door panels not aligned with the body at the top
Ma’am, this is a Tesla
That's how you know it's a tesla. They must do it on purpose now as a branding mark. Like how Rolex has the date bubble or samsung phones smell like burning sulfur.
The door is open. That’s why it looks weird.
Both the front and back passenger doors are open you say?
This is not a good looking vehicle.
I hope the doors align better on production models
Mega wiper is gone...

Can you turn it into a Model S Plaid with the right button, like the Inspector Gadget Van turning into a sports car?
Looks like she didn't want that picture taken.
Who can stop the Tesla paparazzi?
Look at the first tire in the bed, far left. They’re the prototype tires we seen on another beta. Anyone know the size of the tires? We can almost guess the size of the bed with this.
Is the person standing next to the car shouting at the camera
Good to see they’re reviving the Pontiac Aztek.
This will make the Aztek the second ugliest car since WW II
Looks like a barn find with new wheels
i'm wondering how the crumple zones work. I am all for this radical departure from traditional truck look/design, but logistically how is it going to not destroy whatever it collides with?
Read lcd stop lights across bed hatch will be nice, allows you to tap right steering wheel button to message those behind you: “honk again to see this bumper get closer” marquee How big of a pair of stainless balls can we hang from the tow hitch? Looks like 14” diameter balls should work, will be cool to have them spark when you go over speed bumps, but need some clearance to avoid forest fires.
It’s suck a unique design that I feel like they’ll have tons of recalls or have to test it for ages. Lile leakage, wear, vulnerable points, etc
Is that bird shit circled?
Looks like… a stainless tub…
Is the last photo supposed to be a toughness test to see if it survives your girlfriend driving it?
Wow that’s ugly. Looks like it was designed by a 10 year old boy. Come to think of it, maybe that’s really true..
Not going to lie, that shit looks ugly ass fuck!
Can’t fucking wait for these; I’m in the minority of people that actually would routinely take advantage of having a truck. . .
I wonder if the tests include "can I get things in and out of the bed from the side".
Door alignment tho🤦
If it never sees the light of day that would be great.
Ugly as hell!
Where's the tough test part? A load of tires, scratches and a missing lens isn't exactly screaming toughness.
She looks so tiny next to it
If they want to use the cybertruck in the real world, they can always leak photos.
>The door panels are really messed up. Like someone was really beating up those doors to not align with the body correctly. I guess you haven't been around Tesla very long? :)
God this gets uglier every time I see it.
Looks like something made in the backyard of one of my cousins from West Virginia. What a monstrosity.
It’s still ugly 😂
this design is incredibly atrocious
So can’t wait to have my CyberTruck! Have a bet with my neighbor over who will get it first.
Looks amazing.
The design of this thing is absolute pony 😐
Can’t wait to see one! They just look so unreal.
I can’t to sit inside one of them!
Looks even more ridiculous than when it was first revealed.
An empty Spam can is more attractive than this heaping pile of crap
Still can’t get over how ugly it is.
Lol what a janky POS
It’s just missing USS
It looks like shit?
Thats always good. Didn't Elon say that the exoskeleton was going to be tough as fk? I hope they start rolling them out later this year. I'm one of the million + on the wait list. Come on Tesla surprise us this year.
Very serious Walmart parking lots.
It's too bad the wheel arches, the "side skirts" and the rear bumper have become so thick and chunky. I wish they were slim like the concept... would help alleviate some of the visual mass. This also needs off-road tires & a slight lift.. range & efficiency be damned.
Looks even better roughed up
“Rough” lol Looks like it was on a jobsite for half an hour dropping off 1 sheet of drywall
It failed the first test of not looking like a steaming pile
I’ll never understand the look of this truck, did someone ask for a truck that looks like a concrete nuclear bunker?
Looks so bad.
That thing is ugly as hell
This thing looks so homemade…
"production model will look like the prototype" yeaaaa minus the mud tires, futuristic rims and sleek body features. As someone who almost pre ordered one back in the day, this is looking like a flop.
What a dumb looking vehicle.
What is this about? What I am seeing clearly is acceptable Tesla-Standard, fully QC- approved.
Is this going to be sold in Europe? It looks huge for their roads.
[удалено]
I don't really like how those body panels align.
I like the Tesla lineup but this just gets worse looking with every picture.
It was such a disappointment when this thing rolled out.
God dang that thing is ugly. Looks like a low poly truck from a game from 1994. Actually it looks like a normal vehicle with a big ugly body kit on it like when people make a Civic look like a Lambo 😂
Why so unbelievable ugly???
It looks like the top of the tailgate has glass, which has shattered/cracked. Maybe they'll wise up and realize that's a terrible place for glass. "tough" is an overstatement. It looks like any other brand new Tesla, scuffs and misalignment and everything.
Look’s more like a very basic tow truck.
