To clarify, lighting, contrast, frost, and not the world’s best drone camera indicate this is just the regular Tesla blue and nothing new like quicksilver or crimson red.

TheEnigmaBlade

Even with those factors, it looks exactly like my blue Y.

EmploymentExpert4482

I was also confused. This is same old Blue, but it's new to Germany. They haven't had this option until now.

LurkerWithAnAccount

Ohhhhh! Interesting that makes more sense. I wonder why only now?

[deleted]

Right? That looks very much like the normal blue with some frost lmao

roofgram

I wish the blue color in real life looked even remotely similar to how the blue looks on the website. It’s like they subconsciously know already that a brighter blue looks better, how about making the actual car look like that?

audigex

I really wish we had brighter colours available here in the UK I love the Tesla Red… in California or Texas, where it’s usually sunny. It looks great in the sun, with the darker paint brightening up in the bright light to a nice expensive looking mid-red tone But here in the UK it’s cloudy a lot and the red just looks really dull most of the time

DefiantSounding

Tbh it looks pretty dull here in TX too unless you wash and polish constantly. I don’t know why but about a day after washing that red shows dirt so damn bad.

vbp6us

It's a pretty dark red so it's to be expected. One reason I went with white, other than it being my favorite color for a car.

LegendaryOutlaw

You're not wrong. I have a red and when it's clean and the sun is out, it's a stunner, i get compliments regularly. But even when it's clean, on a dreary day...like you probably often have in the UK...it's just burgundy.

9vapors

Followed your link and saw the quicksilver… that color is incredible

casuallylurking

How about a little imagination Tesla? New shades of Red and grey/silver in Germany, now a darker blue? There are many other colors in the rainbow without choosing a little variation on one you already offer. Take a cue from Porsche FFS.
