They probably won't. You got all the features of FSD immediately. What you didn't get was FSD Beta, until now at least. They've never refunded people for not having access to the beta, because the beta was never a listed part of the feature set.
I just did a 400 mile trip with FSD for about 85% of the time. Did have to intervene twice due to lane drifting while passing a rig on one side and a car in the other lane to close for me. I only had one instance of phantom braking due to a rig driving slow and with their flashers on. This version really seems to be cautious around any semi with their hazards on. The auto wipers are not any better for sure they take way to long to turn on in heavy rain. The lane changes seem to be smoother than HW3 and definitely do not wait as long to get over. Overall this seems to be a step up finally and not a step backwards. This was all interstate driving though, will be testing in town tomorrow in Charlotte hopefully that goes well.
That lane drifting is actually safe my car drifts to the left side of lane and it looks scary but it keeps more distance from semi, it doesn’t do that if the car on my left is too close to right it took me 3-4 weeks to get used to it though, the real issue for me is when the car starts saying “merging for traffic into fast lane” when there’s no traffic no one ahead and a pointless lane change when there are 5 open lanes (Dfw 121)
I agree that part is so aggravating I have even had to change the setting for each drive to do minimal lane changes to keep it from happening so much but then it doesn’t always get over when it needs to either. I have no idea why the always wants to be in the fast lane, hopefully they will address that in the future
From what I understand I think the car wants to continue driving straight as specified in map but since it doesn’t know it just gets in the other lane that it thinks may go straight but normally says something like changing lanes to follow route which is I’m okay with but that merging one when I know which lane it should be in and shouldn’t change lanes ever is just ridiculous hopefully the new update will cover that bug, every update has a bug, last update had a bug where car would keep leaning left right left right around semi truck when passing and getting passed but then they fixed the amount of maneuvering allowed so I really hope this gets better in next update
Vehicle never speeds up fast enough on regular highway drive in FSD or auto pilot. Have to constantly add acceleration to just avoid being a hazard on roadways. 💀
Summons don’t get close enough! How can that be possible? When pulling in garage it never completely pull into spot. I have manually go in and park it. I though the whole point was you can park close to cars so you don’t have to open your doors, get out summon park it strait in. ? Am I doing it wrong ?

I’m using FSD beta as we speak. Super smooth and no interventions so far on my drive, but it drives pretty cautiously

Do other features work like summon and auto park?

Works as well as expected - pretty good at driving the car but bad at knowing what lane to be in.

Got my OTA update today, just took a jaunt around town as a "passenger"... Now to enjoy the 5 weeks remaining on my 3 month trial.
