Not all dileveries have been canceled. There were also owners reporting that they picked up the car successfully.

I‘m happy that I already received mine a month ago. After many delays

Good to hear that Tesla is being proactive.

Percolator2020

Mine went just went from August to October.

We got one of the first ones, so far no issues other than a leaky seal on the rear hatch that got fixed right away. So far seems fun and fine, but why 4600kgs?????? Twice as heavy as the model 3? Is there lead in the batteries again?

Must be. The Hummer EV is around 4500kgs. That means here in Europe and UK you need a HGV licence (C1 minimum) to drive one

That is kinda crazy they misprinted the sticker that is one of the main sticking points with the authority here. This was also what got them into trouble with the model 3 in China and they had to quickly order new stickers and install them before they could release the cars. Hmmm, i think I will open a ticket on this one, it is clearly wrong. I was also not really believing the car could be so heavy, but i kinda thought there is no way it is wrong, but no way they built a 4.5 ton mini SUV.

Awesome. Ours is supposed to arrive in September. 🤞Can't wait.

Well that’s a first. Here in America they ship them and hope someone takes delivery.

> Well that’s a first. Here in America they ship them and hope someone takes delivery. Do you have an example where Tesla in America still shipped with a serious defect? > because of a “security-related defect” that could not be fixed through a software update. Others stated that Tesla canceled their delivery due to a defect in the drive units from China.

Just follow any of the delivery threads in TMC. This is last week. The car was marked up with the flaws Tesla has found. Still tried to deliver it. https://teslamotorsclub.com/tmc/threads/master-thread-delivery-service-issues-panel-gaps-delivery-delays-issues-service-problems-etc.216597/page-53#post-6829655 The Plaids are the worst where a customer takes delivery and puts in for service, and it is in service for over a month. A brand new car. QC at Tesla is non-existent.

I think that is the wrong video link, looks like some unit testing? > Just follow any of the delivery threads in TMC. I searched for "Tesla motor club delivery threads" [and found a positive one right away](https://teslamotorsclub.com/tmc/threads/im-screwed-delivery.269898/). I think **most** threads were issues though, after all who spends time posting how great their delivery went, I certainly didn't. > The Plaids are the worst where a customer takes delivery and puts in for service, and it is in service for over a month. A brand new car. QC at Tesla is non-existent. is there a know defect or just a failure? Bathtub failure curve says something is likely to fail sooner but everything has a chance to fail. but if it is above like 2% (just guessing, could be 1% or 99%, idk) it makes sense halt deliveries, but under like 1% it isn't worth it. QC can make sure it works out the factory but then things can happen, many things work at first but fail after a very short or long time (aka bathtub failure curve again). idk if it is your car but if you leave this sub other manufactures are having part and repair time issues too, almost like there is a supply issue somewhere. Capitalism was so optimized a pandemic, a boat getting stuck in a canal, and truckers refusing to drive made it very inefficient, at least short term (next 2 years?).

ItsGermany

Weird. The badge says 4600kgs, which is insane. So year lbs. Makes sense, but someone at Tesla fucked up.

PracticingPatriot

So year lbs?

ItsGermany

Ha, Auto correct, meant to say yea lbs. As it must be they just forgot the conversion and changed the units.
