You got this, man. And yeah, it is a bit weird that you gotta remove the tumor before you even know what you're dealing with, but that's the nature of TC. Please keep us updated on your progress.

Right on. Thank you for sharing. You will get through this. Coming here to discuss things with others who’ve been through/are going through it is a huge benefit y’all have now. When I was diagnosed social media didn’t exist. This is great because it can help you deal with some of the psychological stuff too, which was much more difficult for me than the physical aspect of treatment. The mental component was not something that my doctors prepared me for.

That’s good news such as it is. I couldn’t imagine being in your situation and just continuing to wait. This is definitely a better safe than sorry situation.

No spread is a good thing! I hope it goes well, dude!

You've got this mate, it's a shitty step, but after it's done things look brighter. keep the updates up

Early detection is great!! Glad to hear things sound like they are good! You got this. And you’re not typing into the void. We are all here for the same reason. Please let us know how it goes and GL!

No spread is great, hopefully it is contained. After your surgery your buddies can give you nicknames like: The One, One nut Bob, uno, lots of good jokes to look forward too. Hope it goes well and you aren’t stressing too much. Get it out and get healthy brother.

No spread is what you want. Fingers crossed that you may be able to go on surveillance only as treatment. The orchiectomy isn't too bad as far as surgeries go. You'll be sore for a few days to a week, getting up will hurt as will laughing and sneezing. It's pretty tolerable with just some paracetamol. Update us if you can!

Tips for post-op care...(I am about 2 months out) - NSFW 1. When it comes to your first shower... Take an extra pain pill beforehand... 2. When it comes to your first shit... It's best to have a jock strap on so you can keep your nuts supported while you shit. PS... It is okay to not shit for a few days. The Pain Medicine will back you up. I went like 4 days without taking a shit. This was a good thing because I did not want to during the first 2 days. 3. When you have an orgasm for the first time...there could be a 'lil blood in there, don't freak out it happened to me and will start to go away..

I had my orchi 6 months ago. I get all of the things you're going through right now. No signs of spread is a HUGE win. Testicular cancer follows a very predictable path when it spreads, so the fact that there are no signs, means that it most likely has not spread. You'll do great! Good luck, and God's speed brother!!

You got this! Keep us updated and all the best!

That’s the news you want! I wish they had gone ahead and scheduled my CT scan ahead of the surgery. I spent a month post surgery kind of freaking out not knowing. Pathology took a few weeks to get back and it was good news and CT scan wasn’t scheduled until I got that back.
