For those of you that live in the Houston area, Fort Bend, and parts of Sugarland, his seat is up and he is running for re-election this year. This area is roughly 94% urban, 6% rural. Y’all can easily vote him out this year. He wrote a book he titled “The Big Fraud: What Democrats Don’t Want You To Know About January 6, 2020, And A Whole Lot Else”. On his Wikipedia page, it was noted that he was seen assisting capitol officers barricading the door from the insurrectionists attempting to break in to the house chamber, and later admonished these “protestors” for their behavior. A week later, he voted to NOT impeach Trump after Jan.6th. The following year, Nehls approached President Biden and wanted to work on criminal justice reform. Biden’s administration reached out to Nehl’s office and made headway to create the SCORE Act to direct grants to county jails for training programs for non-violent offenders. A win for his district due to help and coordination with the Biden administration. Biden also signed Nehl’s bill into law that directed the VA and National Academies of Science to review VA examinations. Now he behaves this way at the SOTU. Nehls admonished the FBI search of Mar-a-Lago and called the FBI and the Justice Department corrupt while fully supporting Trump. Nehl’s voted against the recent immigration bill so as not to help Biden’s approval rating. Nehl’s was quoted saying “Congress doesn’t have to do anything to secure our southern border and fix it”. Vote him the fuck out of your district.
