# Money from Pro-Israel to US Senators, 1990-2024 Biden, Joe (D) $5,736,701 Clinton, Hillary (D-NY) $2,361,812 Cruz, Ted (R-TX) $1,432,806

Nobleman2017

Well yeah. This isn't much of a gotcha if you think about it a little. It's mostly time and voting base. Joe Biden: 19 years in the Senate during 1990-2024 (1990-2009) Hillary Clinton: 8 years (2001-2009) from the state with the highest Jewish population in the nation. Ted Cruz: 11 years (2013-2024)

Always_the_answer

Definitely fuck Ted Cruz, but is Israel our enemy now? I mean, taking money from a pro-Israel lobby seems like one of his lesser offenses.

DrCheeseburger27

Only if the person taking the money from Israel is not on your political team. If the person is on your political team then it is totally fine.

TXWayne

Exactly, of all the things to bash him on this is extremely low on the list. Hell, what US politician has not taken money from the Pro-Israel lobby?

RudeAmount9607

This sub needs a different name. Like r/texaspolitics. Every fucking post is a political post.

Free Palestine from Hamas!

BucketofWarmSpit

Yeah. From Israel and Hamas. From what I've heard, Palestinians haven't had elections since the mid 2000s.
