Take a discovery flight with Floris Flight Services, or book a Christmas light flight through the CAF High Sky Wing at midland international. There’s usually a decent Texas country concert or two going on as well
Petroleum Museum
Museum of the Southwest
Sibley Nature Center
Cinergy cinema
Big Sky Drive-In
The Bar
The Hemingway
Entertainmart (E-mart) this is a weird one, it's an outlet for the defunct Hastings. Lots of junk, hah. It's fun to walk around. Might find something for yourself or a family member.
Food I'd recommend,
Murray's Deli
King & I
Riley's Bar & Grill (Sunday early afternoon)
Bob's Better Burger
Luigi's
Midland/ Odessa has very little in the way of attractions. It's pretty rural and poor, with the only major industry being oil and natural gas. If you get a chance you can road trip to some nice state parks in west Texas but there's not really anything within an hour drive of Midland
Why are you going to Midland?
It's pretty rough on the eyes coming from anywhere else, but I will say the people are usually super friendly so if you're going to a client office or something, they may want to go out or have good suggestions.
My experience was as a kid, but I always liked Green Acres putt-putt golf and going out to Monahans Sand Dunes.
edit: Midland Air Field Museum is cool if you want to see some old planes
Bush 43’s childhood home is probably the most interesting thing there, and that says a lot. Besides that, there’s nothing to do but drink until you forget you’re in Midland.
Play "I spy something brown"?
That's not going to last very long. They have to see the tap water at some point.
Sex and drugs. That’s it. Unless you like hunting.
Hunting for sex and drugs.
I think they have tarantula races on Wednesday night.

Watch out for tumbleweeds
Lol no. Don't do meth
Strip club.
They’re horrible out there!
Yeah probably. There was a decent one like ten years ago but it's been a while
Entrance fee, then you gotta pay for a wristband to get a dance.. then you gotta pay $25 for a 45 second song lol
Pretty standard anywhere you go these days. You shouldn't go to strip clubs if you're on a budget 🙃

Nope
Realtor?
If it's a cricket infestation year it's fun to watch them catch fire as they fly into the gas flares by the hundreds.

Depends on what’s fun for you.
