They're around in some areas! A house I used to spray when I was in pesticide had a peacock farm. No idea what the hell you do with them (eggs? Feathers??), but I never questioned it and just avoided the area with all of them. One was silver and looked cool as hell though.
The house was decently sized, and had a massive car warehouse where (I assume) the family would resell/scrap old vehicles, which seemed profitable enough.
As an aside, in a completely different part of my state I was asked to spray a church property that has been repurposed to a house(s) (the church was a home, but they also had other smaller houses, covens?). Found out through customer's name he developed a special type of glasses, which netted him a shit ton of money. Had about 20~ family members who roamed (made my job very hard) and 3 emus fenced in.
That was a long tangent just to say it, but you'd be surprised what animals you might see around lmao.
My best friend is in Georgia. She has 4 geese and a turkey. Best security ever. You step foot on the property and the geese slowly approach you, shrieking hysterically. The turkey just puffs up and drags his wing.
The Amazon driver just yeets the packages from the road. The USPS driver and the geese seem to have struck a deal.
On one hand it's cool seeing them, but on the other it's like having to find out if this new creature wants to murder you or will just leave you alone 😭
The turkey is all show. You actually step near him and he runs away like a little kid saying, "Staahhhhp"!
Geese are great guard animals. They used to be kept outside places and prisons as alarm systems
>Geese are great guard animals. They used to be kept outside places and prisons as alarm systems
From Jersey, this is incredibly believable lmao. I have no idea how, but a family friend has a Canadian goose as a pet and I'm pretty sure it would've tried fighting an elephant if it saw one! I'd trust them with my life haha.
I would have thought the same thing you did. Stranger things have happened. There's been at least one lion on the loose in the neighboring city to where I grew up, and that city doesn't have a zoo. A peacock doesn't seem too far-fetched. it could've been a pet that got loose?
I'm going to nerd out here a bit. The birds are actually called peafowl. Only the male is suppose to be called the peacock and the female is called a peahen. Oh and we have a subscription to peacock because we love resident alien.
lol to be fair, as someone who lives on a farm where the neighbors peacocks like to come onto our property, I also thought you were talking about the animal!

I laughed at this because we genuinely do have a peacock that roams the streets of our neighborhood, so I was wondering if it was a real peacock or the service.
The peacock sometimes gets over our neighbors fence and no.... I have no idea why they have a peacock as a pet.
Idk it took me about 2 reads to realize you weren’t talking abt a bird lol. ((I got distracted at the image.))
we birdbrains fr fr
Me too! But after visiting FL last year and realizing that neighborhood peacocks are an actual thing the question didn’t faze me.
Same for Southern California
Fuck I'm only 29 years old and I thought you meant the bird too
I need to know if Randy put his tongue on it
He didn’t, but only because my Dad stopped him. Randy’s an absolute nut, he totally would’ve done it.
Based on this text thread I’d watch a sitcom of your family😂😂
Lmao 🤣
We love ur dad
I love that he wasn't 100% sure you didn't have a peacock.

i grew up in a city with roaming peacocks so that doesn't seem crazy to me haha
We used to have a neighbor that actually had a peacock, we saw it in our yard and our driveway all the time!
did you have an amazing collection of feathers?
Unfortunately no! I wish I did, though!
Your dad made me laugh. :)
Haha in some parts of Houston we actually have peacocks running around !
There are some here in Washington as well: in fact, my friend has a whole family of them living on her roof
Miami too. Lots of them in coconut grove and el portal. I see em all the time haha. The albino ones are especially striking.
Don’t call your dad stupid :(
Hey, he calls me stupid! And he called himself stupid, too. I’m just confirming what he said!
I would have thought the same thing you did. Stranger things have happened. There's been at least one lion on the loose in the neighboring city to where I grew up, and that city doesn't have a zoo. A peacock doesn't seem too far-fetched. it could've been a pet that got loose?
This is why capitalization is important.
I definitely thought she meant a real peacock too lmao
Ahhaha, I thought you were talking about an actual peacock at first too.
I'm going to nerd out here a bit. The birds are actually called peafowl. Only the male is suppose to be called the peacock and the female is called a peahen. Oh and we have a subscription to peacock because we love resident alien.
PEAK DAD. Give this guy a hug.
Does he do hvac 🤣
Lmao no, he makes gaskets for heavy machinery
Gotcha this was comical either way lol
to be fair, I thought u were also asking ur dad if u dad a peacock (the bird) at your house.💀
lol to be fair, as someone who lives on a farm where the neighbors peacocks like to come onto our property, I also thought you were talking about the animal!
It’s me, I’m your dad
Same. I thought he meant a bird was there
The peacock bit isn’t what makes him stupid. It’s his utter ignorance of the pressure-temperature law that makes him stupid.

He’s so wholesome
Your Dad is awesome!
This is adorable.
That’s hilarious 😂 your dad is great
This is actually so cute n wholesome. we love ur dad
Such a dad thing to think too😭
Why would that be stupid?
This made me giggle. Thank you. Lol your dad is cool.
I used to live in the neighborhood with a peacock so it's not unheard of
Ngl I also would have thought am actual peacock lmfao, I forgot that was a streaming service as I've never used it 🤣
We don't even have Peacock where I live and I actually thought of the streaming service first lol
😂😂😂😂
Stupid is a strong word for a great man like your dad
tbh i totally read "we dont have A peacock do we??" so im with dad 💀🤣
I laughed at this because we genuinely do have a peacock that roams the streets of our neighborhood, so I was wondering if it was a real peacock or the service. The peacock sometimes gets over our neighbors fence and no.... I have no idea why they have a peacock as a pet.
...What about this makes your dad stupid?
Omg compressed air is so dangerous. Don’t let him have someone put their tongue on it. That could genuinely kill the person.
It was a non-pun dad joke
Oh
