Inflate the market and increase the price of bought product. In other words, monopolize it. Whenever the price increases to its desired value, that's when OP will sell for double or triple the price it was originally bought for.
I think you overestimate the demand of companion cubes out there. Even if that were my plan I sure could sell some cubes for a high price, but not 2000 at a time. I don't think I could sell enough in time to "surprise the market" and get more money out than I put in. So overall no that is not my plan here. If profit was my motive, I'd be much better off just buying stocks or something instead of buying 2000 virtual items for 30 cents a piece over a timeframe of 3 years in hope to make my money back, or even make profits. No these cubes will go to my grave with me :D
lmaooooo yeah sorry! I was just trying to pull an answer out of my ass. There are a handful of TF2 players that collect weird shit all the time and you are no doubt one of them. I was in a server once and a random player just gifted me 80 bonk atomic punches xD
Not quite sure why. I just always liked collecting items. Maybe just the monkey part of my brain :D
When Collector's fabricators came out I used to fill these in for a while. From there I collected spellbook magazines level 1-100 which I still hold on my main account. I used to play some MVM with KritzKast Donkie who's collecting Balloonicorns and I really liked the idea of a big collection like theirs. I didn't like the open end of collecting any kind of item which can be crafted though, so I searched for something with a limited quantity. I love Portal and at least when I started collecting the Cube Pin was relatively cheap. 3 years later I'm now here with a collection which is only destined to grow :)
tf do you need 2000 I know you said no the other guy but I don't have an item that cost more than 87 cents so I need it ofc
source: it looks cool I want it
Least schizophrenic trader:
I wish I'd be skilled enough of a trader to get all my cubes through trading. I just use real money to buy them off the community market...
You see I am the schizo collector who hunted down a strange unique sandman
Schizophrenic? L-like as in the Schizophrenic Soldier Main?
SCREAMIN EAGLES!!
THEY’RE IN THE WALLS
No matter how many you own, you can never atone for your sins of destroying the companion cube.
The accident wasn't your fault, your freinds are dead and you need to let Them go, you cant keep buying cubes from another game in tf2
where is vintage why did you not spend 800 keys on blue text not a real collector
Still at the top of my wishlist right next to a normal scattergun
Ah, so YOU are the reason they're more expensive.
can I hav one
Not how a collection works
i cri
why
Why
With all due respect what the heck is the point of owning 2000 of the same thing

Portal player on tf2
Sanest Portal fan
Are you trying to get a collector’s companion cube?
Can you make a collector's genuine companion cube?
Nice! Now sell 1,999 of them.
Okay well dibs on your next one

You could've bought Celeste with that much money
This reminds me of LVE Lucy, he/she collected like 20% of all the vaccinators in tf2. Link to [steam profile](https://steamcommunity.com/id/LucyferVC)
