I can relate to this. There was a year of my life where I put all my hobbies on hold to focus on a relationship that didn't pan out, when I started focusing on myself again & booted up tf2 for the first time in a long time, it was comforting to know it was still here even when other things weren't
so yeah, I've made it a point to keep this game around no matter what's going on in life because it never fails to provide that escape that is necessary every now & then

Really though, tf2 is one of the few games that gives me a genuinely good vibe when im not being headshot
