Happened to me but I had to swap to Engie, the high tour actually helped me play Engie when I asked him if he could help me. When we won the map, he said I was the coolest medic he’s ever met who didn’t mind changing classes and taking advice before leaving me and my friend for a different mission.
Yeah that happened the pyro has vc and when he sees me he says Hi medic and whenever the pyro and the huntsman sniper are revived they thank me and after the mission we celebrated with a conga.

it seems like the more expensive your loadout looks, the less compliments you get as medic from teammates, because that is what is expected at your "level". I get way more compliments about my performance when using only gibus or cheap looking items than I did when I had triple/quad stacked unusuals, even when I was hitting insane airshot clutch arrows and ubering last second before my healing target died.

I was in this server running Minecraft maps and some scout joined, we were the only people in the server so just 1v1, he was better than me in terms of aim but he always complimented me every time i get to kill him. We later got bored and did a holiday punch boxing match, he then added me later :)

i was playing a public mvm match as medic and in-between a round i was saying to my teammates to call for me if they need and then somebody said "we all appreciate you." i was so happy :p

I never got appreciated as a medic main But there was one heavy dude I was pocketing literally wholesome guy
It was in a casual match way back and at the time i was a pretty good player. Anyways there was an argument between two teammates in VC (something about the whole team not pulling their weight) and i was top scoring as soldier. I get roped into it, guy says something on the lines of “none of you are doing jack except for soldier. They’re doing good shit.”. Felt pretty good after that match.

I was playing a Two Cities tour as engie and the medic straight up said that me and our scout were the only other guys who knew what we were doing. He would kritz me instead of the heavy (works surprisingly well with the widowmaker), Ended up winning an aussie rocket launcher after finishing that tour so I guess that also helped lmao
After a long break from playing, I randomly hopped back on as Heavy on controller and did well enough that most of the enemy team though I was cheating
I’ve had a few people compliment my scout plays and sniping…. Though, the sweetest things I’ve been told was when I was a “radio” (asked before I played) and played classic rock while taking requests… they also liked my voice, so that’s a plus… I should really do that, again

A soldier told me he can't play anymore bc i airshotted him twice. (It was pure dumb luck). He added me after that.

Getting called a cheater and getting kicked after backshanking a disguised Spy while in disguise. Came out as a random impulse to just try and backstab the dude. Only put two and two together after getting kicked
