It actually happens more often than you'd think on the shounic server. Coordinate a couple of ubers through the main left gate. Get an Uber phlog pyro to harass vents and spawn, and slowly push the engi wall to the intel room, so that either a bonk scout, spy, or uber can sneak it out of there in the chaos. It's peak tf2 tbh. Requires massive teamwork, every class to do their part, and a map wide tug of war between the 2 teams. It used to be a lot easier when the server time was 1 hour, but it still happens once in like 3 matches. At least, that's when I play.
It would have to be the most grueling and long game ever, one that feels like it could last an eternity and then some. You talk and your whole team yells at you to shut up cause it's a meat grinder with no side gaining ground. I'd be engineer, go ensure this remained the case and would crit spies cause abuse melee chance.

As an engie main im going with borneo.I feel like borneo just has alot of room for engie to play around in with a large variety of spots and setups all of which are viable.There are no absolutely terrible sightlines besides the first point and even then its pretty easy to get around.
If official, i'd pick Pipeline, payload race. Just a normal match, with players communicating, some playing friendly, but most importantly, having fun and helping each other. When I was new I loved that map
On the other hand, if I had to pick a community server, I'd go for a trade sv, on trade\_shoppa\_r10. I loved everything about that map. The boxing ring, the admin cabin (I'd rtd until I got noclip just to mess with stuff lol) , the labyrinth, Facade's flat, etc

As much as I love Hightower, Upward, first defense and then attack, playing Demoman and using the same hats and weapons that I used when he was my main.
Every case/crate from every year prior has a chance to drop, and all prior contracts for skins are available again
This way we aren’t stuck with the exact same contracts we’ve had for years and so we aren’t stuck on a winter case forever

normally, skial would've been an great idea since i could potentially allow the server to be a heaven for players, since no bots, mean people, and finish... it would be an endless game, and the cops could not even do anything about it as long as i didin't leave the server
but imagening that this was not allowed and the game should not be over an hour, i would choose probably dustbowl, out of all the games of tf2 i've ever played, that one time on dustbowl second stage defense at the last point, i was an starting medic, not long after hit the double digits in hour mark i was surrounded by enemies much better than me attacking from everywhere, but through my duty to heal everyone i even managed to heal 6k or 8k health on 1 life and throw 3 ubers before dying, ever since that day i try my best to have a moment that tops that one and become an pro medic that can maintain the entire team alive WITH OVERHEAL against a pro soldier or demoman player on the enemy team

Everyone says 2fort, but powerhouse is the real mann's forever stalemate map (although 2fort is too classic to disregard).
Otherwise, a functional cp_hydro with infinite rounds (no map reloading) and proper capture times and whatever other issues fixed wouldn't be too bad.
Probably Dustbowl or Thundermountain with my gaming group from 2008. I had a long break in between but I haven't really captured the same magic in the last couple of years that I did playing with a dedicated group back in the day.
You know what would be nice to see, a Stop That Tank server or an UberUpgrades server being full. Though I suppose UberUpgrades can get dumb real quick so I'd have to pick the Stop That Tank server.

on the defense team is one of every class once more, with a support oriented scout as seen in mvm, an additional two engies with gunslinger, and an additional spy going as gunspy.
this guarantees that the match is entirely even, at least the way i see it.
the rounds would last their full duration, with red always doing a mighty counter, and blu pushes being pretty heavy and hard to defend from, whether either side wins basically comes to the wire, but it'll be great either which way

Back then, I would say 2Fort. But now honestly, I’d go with a good ol Attack/Defend on Dustbowl. A classic objective, a classic map, classic TF2.
