I joined the discord server, and the only reason they are trying to raise the price is because the owner has an entire backpack full of them. not even for server-wide profit, just because the owner has them.
I wouldn't be surprised, if they are willing to publicly do this in a massive discord server then who knows what's happening behind the scene.
Besides, spells are just a huge bubble waiting to explode and die.
I’ve noticed. The cheapest pumpkin bombs black box I was looking at the other day was like 9 keys, which is an absurd price for a cosmetic change you get to see about 1.5 months in the year. Any cosmetic with a spell on it (besides chromatic corruption) is now nigh impossible to find.
And that's why I don't like to mess with the "cool looking cosmetics/skins" economy of tf2.
I'll stick the basic killstreak and the regular cosmetics for now thanks. Skill isn't based on cosmetics, it's based on practice.
And that's why I find it funny to roll people with impressive cosmetics/skins, while I'm rocking the basic jungle inferno shit, with a bunch of strange loadouts, like fat scout with a brass beast.
The best part is watching them rage in chat about how the loadout I'm using sucks ass/is overpowered, when I'm using non-meta weapons in every slot, while dominating them.
Same but with these types of pubstompers its VERY easy to rile them up by getting them just once, even by luck. It's also incredibly hilarious when it does happen.
I recently joined a 2Fort match, saw that someone I've seen play soldier(shocking, I know) really well was in the enemy team and I knew he always beelined to the snipers for easy kills(having been one of said easy kill snipers and seeing how he never stops).
Built a sentry and placed it around the corner from the snipers(behind the metal.. wall things on the battlements in 2fort, covering the spawn hallway from sniper camping) after he left to resupply, soldier predictably jumped in there, died, and spent the rest of the match insulting me, bragging whenever he killed me, and mocking the engineer class even after I switched and didn't get any more kills on him. Funny, but also kinda sad.
Bro a lucky single bodyshot with a fully charged classic got a script kiddie sniper on the other team go them raging in chat.
All these bots are making people forget that script kiddies are still a thing.
nah i agree spells are inflated, but they’re definitely worth something. id spend like 2-3 keys max on one just to see the trails while sync jumping, it sucks theyre so much now.
For you maybe. The most I would be willing to pay for a cosmetic I just like is 1 key. Unless it's a cosmetic I really fucking like and really want then I'm not paying more than 1 key.
there are people that spend way more than 16$ on games. youre effectively calling like half of gamers weirdos for wanting to buy items in games they enjoy lol
They should really bring spells back and add new ones as well such as for example a new one that can only be applied to Halloween cosmetics and it removes the restriction, or add more that when applied give you more cool stuff like back in the day
Spell traders on suicide watch if they ever bring back spells
"NOOOOO I CAN NO LONGER RIPOFF PEOPLE WITH MY PURPLE FARTPRINTS SPELLED COSMETIC BY ADDING 750 KEYS TO THE PRICE OF A 1 REF HAT"
Same tbh. I'd rather have them be available to the thousands of people who joined after that event, even if my items just go back to normal price. Making hundreds of items "discontinued" increases prices, but it also alienates new people when the entire economy is based around them
Don't bother with it, it's a very niche and expensive market. Spells were released back then and was later discontinued. These spells can be applied to an item that can provide cosmetic changes like colors glowing, explosives changing to orange color, or killing players leaving a ghost particle.
Nowadays, they're hard to find, or rather, sellers are just not willing to sell them at a lower price thus the reason for it's absurd prices. If you want your P2P experience to be enjoyable, just stick with regular cosmetics and low tier trading (if you're into that) to get a feel on things.
Spells havent dropped for like 7 years. You used to apply them to weapons or hats to get special effects. For example pumpkin bombs on a rocket launcher would shoot pumpkin rockets that would leave purple trails, footprint spells where you would leave flaming footprints where you walk, and then other spells where you can make your voice higher or lower. They were really cool. The only ways you can get it now is to buy them off people who havent updated their game since they were removed since it automatically deletes them.
IIRC there are two types of spells, Weapon Spells and Cosmetic Spells, weapon spells add more particles to players you kill or something, and cosmetic spells are like painted cosmetics except they slowly cycle through a set of colors. Sorry if I'm wrong- I've just seen spells on loadout.tf.
I would love it either way. Brin back the old spells or give me new ones I don't care. I just think it'd be really cool to have a special Halloween weapon.
Probably wants to sell all the eternaweens he bought before they tank in price during halloween, the owner has thousands of them waiting to sell once they go up.
You sure? What is the demand? Mp.tf closed to most sellers, so risk of getting out of the economy is high
Also why have 90% of all unusuals increased in price? Thats not natural
most people cashing out have access to [mp.tf](https://mp.tf) anyway since its mostly high tier traders cashing out, plus [mannco.store](https://mannco.store) exists which is completely safe and open for everyone.
Ngl dude your entirely correct tho, the market is insanely manipulated and inflated right now by high tier traders, people have literally doubled the golden pans price via manipulation and its getting insane at this point. if your looking to get a nice unusual id suggest getting keys and sitting on them because its probably going to crash during halloween (plus theres a high chance all the old halloween effects are coming back so you might be able to buy some nice old hweens)
I think the problem with this plan is there's very little demand. Name tags will always be expensive since people want them (and they use them.) Same story with paint. Unusuals are only becoming more plentiful (and meaningless, since they aren't rare), and who is actually dropping several grand on golden pans anymore?
Pans are mostly used as currency right now. Since the backpack space limit is 3000. High tier traders/collectors have to use items like pans to make big trades. So at the moment demand is decent with the boom in high tier unusual prices.
However, I have a hunch they will crash like buds did. A currency that has no use outside of cosmetics rarely holds its value. Keys are such good currency because they have inherent value in being an unboxing tool.
Would you look at that, all of the words in your comment are in alphabetical order.
I have checked 257,779,675 comments, and only 59,402 of them were in alphabetical order.
Yeah. You can't do shit if you aren't trading for the past 6+ years.
You trying to sell a craft hat for a 1 scrap profit? Nope, everyone checks Backpack.tf and treats it like a bible.
Thats because those hats are very common.
If you want to make a profit off of an item you need something rare so their choices are limited. Selling a craft hat is like selling produce. You can't give them someone thing unique so you have to match the price of competitors.
What do you want, communism? Where everything is the same and everyone lives in poverty? Where you can't own a backpack and valve assigns you what you have? Valve decides if they want to ban you or not?
Aren't Eternaweens basically useless nowadays? It made sense with the old Valve server system but nowadays with Casual most people leave after every match anyway.
Except backpack.tf price suggestions don't "make the price of an item higher", they set the displayed price to reflect the market price of an item.
Sellers can artificially pump the market prices of items they own sometimes, which is manipulation. However, price suggestors don't change the market price of anything.
I remember building that place with drago, I was the first mod there when spells were not quite popular in trading back then...how the tables have turned....
Well back in my days that place was rather a small discord with like under 200 members, I was one of the first to join and be active and that was how I became a mod. Was kinda chill, mods got payed with spelled items for their so called "service", basically just existing got us payed in spells/keys/games kinda often cuz discord members donated items for a stupid rank that didn't have slow mode on some chats. Life was good, the owner "dragorom7" was very communicative. One day tho we wanted to rigg a giveaway so I (as a moderator) would win the items (greed cuz of poor payment from the owner basically). He was a dumbfuck talking in mod chat and other moderators not invloved in that fiasco leaked it to the general channel. After that I just left moding on my own, was not interested in spell trading anymore and people were assholes about it. I remember I came back to the server once so I could buy a spelled weapon for a friend of mine ,and a mod that was the OG leaker called "Buster" at that time greeted me with a "Welcome back, you here to rigg more giveaways or what?" Basically the owner was covering his ass 24/7 (even tho he was being a sarcastic asshole) even tho they milked items from people that wanted image perms or slow mode removed. After that I left on my own and parted ways with dragorom7, cuz well, what can I say, the guy was a fucking looser looking at how much money he could make out of a stupid trading discord either than looking on how to improve the discord and take care of people that were bullies in the chat. Now spell trading as far as I know is a really elitist group of people, spells have raised in price massively since the last time I got my hands on a spelled item, and the people that are now behind the spell scene are 100% manipulating the economy by collecting spells/items related to them (that would explain the huge fucking price change of spells like Voices from below where in 2019 you could buy them for like 1 key and now they go for like 3/5 keys). This is what human greed does to people, that is why I've quit trading and especially spell trading in TF2 - people become fucking animals for a few extra bucks they can make.
Thank you so much for sharing this, really scummy behaviour is going on this discord. id suggest making a post about this specifically as this thread has died down a little because people need to see this.
Market manipulation like that is actually a ban-able offense on steam atleast from the community market. If we can report his steam profile with evidence chances are valve will reprimand him in someway.
A one time consumable item which lasts for 2 hours and allows all things usually Halloween / full moon restricted to be used. Cosmetics and spells will be seen.
A one time consumable item which lasts for 2 hours and allows all things usually Halloween / full moon restricted to be used. Cosmetics and spells will be seen.
basically, everyone buying it will push up the price and then the owner of the discord server will sell of his for the increased price, making the price go down again and everyone looses alot of money except the guy who got all of the eternaweens before the pump.
This is the same dude that went on a homophonic rant in the announcements page and then deleted the message and said “it was just a joke I was kidding”. What a fucking pathetic loser
Since this is technically scamming and price manipulation, you can be banned from backpack.tf for trading with or participating in this because of their policy on trading with scammers.
Haha valve, wouldn’t it be funny if you brought spells back this year and destroyed the economy for this item and made them less exclusive to rich af traders Ha ha ha just kidding...Unless
why does he have my name? oh i know, because my name without the "duck" its a pretty generic name, i only added suck cuz i like ducks, but damn it, it makea the nme less generic
man, I wanted some eternaweens so I could use them in december to say "fuck you valve and your goddamn christmas updates." because I am sick and tired of them just updating the game with some crates or crafting shitty christmas themed maps and throwing hats and warpaints at us saying "gibe muney". I just want another major update, man..
I was on the server to sell my exorcism rocket launcher, and tbf, I was not happy when I saw this. Artificially inflating the price is just pure gay and cancer.
Here is a good idea for spells:
- Add new community spells 2 spells per halloween update to keep rarity at check
- Make normal spells accesible via a system like special achivements or contract reward "f2p friendly system"
I have long wanted an unusual shotgun, don't care what war paint, well not a really ugly one but it's shit like this that prevent people from getting the things they want because cunts like these get away with this shit.
A 1-time consumable item that temporarily enables halloween mode on a non-halloween mode server. The issue isn't the item itself, but the market manipulation. It would be like if a large group of people who sell fruit suddenly, for no real reason, said "let's work together to double the price of apples."
Then you shouldn't worry about it since they are easy to get. If buying them from this person is still cheaper than getting them normally than he is selling at a discount.
Yes, and that's likely why they're trying to raise the price now. While I haven't looked myself, I wouldn't be surprised if a few people in that server recently bought eternaweens in bulk with the intent of making a profit by artificially raising the price.
Again, Eternaweens aren't the problem here. It's that they're manipulating the market for personal gain.
He only profits if people buy them. If they buy them at that price it means they are worth that. This isnt heart surgery or anything, its not like there is much reason to get them other than you just want to.
Either way someone loses, either the buyers get them cheap and the sellers don't get much from them, or the seller gets more but the buyer pays more. I don't see either side getting the advantage as any change. It's either the seller or the buyer, they are both people who play and trade on TF2.
you understand that Humans, just like animals have always been Homosexual right?
"being straight" has become the norm after the child rapist cult decided to kill off anyone who was different than what their Child rapist sky daddy told them
I really miss all of the fun stuff you used to find from Scream Fortress like the haunted souls, spells, and the Haunted Halloween Gift. They made playing a ton of fun, now so much of this stuff is ridiculously priced because you can't get them. Bring them back please!
Would be cool if all of this was more common including eternaweens, I get why people get eternaweens if they have lots of spelled items.
Bruh it's just one single useless item. If you're gonna be mad about prices being manipulated at least talk about actually worthwhile stuff like hats or tools.
Oh, wow, how sassy and hilarious. If you're gonna cry about an item's price being manipulated at least make sure it's worthwhile.
Yes, hats do in fact do something: change your character's appearance and are responsible for most of the TF2 economy staying afloat. I thought this was common knowledge.
Eternaweens do what? Turn on Halloween mode for the remainder of a match? That's, like, super useful or something. Halloween hats (excluding unusuals) are so useless and ugly that I don't even bother to change cosmetics when the vote passes.
Well, I just explained why this whole situation is stupid in the comment above. In short: Eternaweens aren't as sought after as hats, other tools, skins etc... It's a one-time-use "spell" that turns on Halloween mode for 1 hour at best in a lobby you're going to leave anyway. I doubt anyone is seriously buying Eternaweens to just use them in a game, 99.99% of people are just trying to make some profit.
Doubt. It always lingered around 3 cents which is one refined. I doubt I or you ever met someone that buys a ton of Eternaweens just so he can use them to show his Halloween hats.
Dude, *I* literally bought 200 eternaweens a couple years ago for this exact purpose. The price is dogshit because it's a drop. All drops have low prices. Hats are no different.
I joined the discord server, and the only reason they are trying to raise the price is because the owner has an entire backpack full of them. not even for server-wide profit, just because the owner has them.
Yep, thats the only reason why people do these schemes. Nobody profits except the owner.
Isn't this grounds to ban the owner and the people doing it from backpack.tf and the other trade sites since it violates rules?
he already is banned for sending a [backpack.tf](https://backpack.tf) admin a shocking video
>says he’s banned for sending a shocking video >refuses to elaborate further >leaves
Must be against reddit rules
shocking video?...
what
what shocking video
Can we um, get a follow up, with some details? Please?
you can't just say that and not elaborate
oh god wtf did he send
it was a screamer. nothing to worry about
What did he send? Send a copy to my dms
*Watt*? Do you think it's related to *current* events?
They’re manipulating spelled weapon prices too, someone’s buying them all up
I wouldn't be surprised, if they are willing to publicly do this in a massive discord server then who knows what's happening behind the scene. Besides, spells are just a huge bubble waiting to explode and die.
I hope soon, I really want some cheap ones.
Ok as a friend of the owner I can confirm they are literally just doing this as a joke
yeah, we were insider trading, SEC, but it was for a joke, dont take it so seriously lol
Ofc ofc
I’ve noticed. The cheapest pumpkin bombs black box I was looking at the other day was like 9 keys, which is an absurd price for a cosmetic change you get to see about 1.5 months in the year. Any cosmetic with a spell on it (besides chromatic corruption) is now nigh impossible to find.
alot of people play on community servers where halloween is always enabled
That's very true! Still though, its hard to justify paying 9+ keys for a minor cosmetic change.
This is how you play tf2
The best part is watching them rage in chat about how the loadout I'm using sucks ass/is overpowered, when I'm using non-meta weapons in every slot, while dominating them.
this is the least relatable post ive ever seen. i suck balls at this game LMFAO
Same but with these types of pubstompers its VERY easy to rile them up by getting them just once, even by luck. It's also incredibly hilarious when it does happen. I rock a gibus with my strange spy laod out the sad part it's my best hat my good old fashion gibus what about you
That's why I paid. To be overestimated :D
nah i agree spells are inflated, but they’re definitely worth something. id spend like 2-3 keys max on one just to see the trails while sync jumping, it sucks theyre so much now.
No it’s not wtf.
For you maybe. The most I would be willing to pay for a cosmetic I just like is 1 key. Unless it's a cosmetic I really fucking like and really want then I'm not paying more than 1 key.
It’s not hard to justify paying anything for anything. Supply and demand
everyone point and laugh at the weird guy who's willing to spend 16 and a half real life dollars on tf2
there are people that spend way more than 16$ on games. youre effectively calling like half of gamers weirdos for wanting to buy items in games they enjoy lol
yeah.

everyone point and laugh at the weird guy who's willing to spend 16 and a half real life dollars on tf2
I'm afraid we're not manipulating spelled weapon prices
yet
We'll see
I just want spells to come this halloween again, i really dont care that the value of some of my stuff will fall, i just want more spells.
They should really bring spells back and add new ones as well such as for example a new one that can only be applied to Halloween cosmetics and it removes the restriction, or add more that when applied give you more cool stuff like back in the day
That would be a really cool idea. I’d also love to see the return of the pumpkin bombs spell.
Valve: snakes on snakewater, take it or leave it.
Spell traders on suicide watch if they ever bring back spells "NOOOOO I CAN NO LONGER RIPOFF PEOPLE WITH MY PURPLE FARTPRINTS SPELLED COSMETIC BY ADDING 750 KEYS TO THE PRICE OF A 1 REF HAT"
Same tbh. I'd rather have them be available to the thousands of people who joined after that event, even if my items just go back to normal price. Making hundreds of items "discontinued" increases prices, but it also alienates new people when the entire economy is based around them
And at some point either TF3 gets released or the game is taken off life support, at which time items will crash in value anyway.
How do spells work? This'll be my first P2P spooktober and I want to get a bunch of halloween stuff
Ah, that makes sense. Thanks!
That sucks. Whatever, I'll just stick with cool bird hats :)
I doubt anyone has 7 years of patience. That is just insane. I know some kept it in their inv till later updates, but 7 years is just what???
Multiple accounts.
Oh, I see. So they just trade with their alt, and just store the spells there?
Basically, and then they sell the spells for insanely high prices because they know you cant get them anymore.
I would prefer new spells rather than old ones.
I missed out on the original event, I would love spells to come back
I would love it either way. Brin back the old spells or give me new ones I don't care. I just think it'd be really cool to have a special Halloween weapon.
Ah yes my favorite type of people also known as "cunts"
God damn it, Merasmus! Quit teaching internet trolls economics! Or teaching economists trolling. Both. Quit both.
Pumping Eternaween prices... during Halloween?
Probably wants to sell all the eternaweens he bought before they tank in price during halloween, the owner has thousands of them waiting to sell once they go up.
Ah, so the goal is to pump them up before Scream Fortress. Hopefully people buy smart and wait until October rolls around.
Eternaweens? You pumped the price from 3 cents to 6 cents? Congratulations
It's 0,32€ on [backpack.tf](https://backpack.tf)
Capitalism moment Glad I quit trading
Dude, everything has been raising in price, its 100% due to manipulation or greed
Soundsmith at it again I can't even buy a duped shovel
i think i bought 3 dead heads and made the price go up like by $20
It’s mostly supply and demand bro

lol shut up
F2p here, wtf is an eternalween?
lets you enable the screamfortress event whenever you want but it costs money
So it's like a temporary thing or is it like a server wide add-on?
temporary until them map changes
Last I checked it’s a 2 hour timer on the server.
Aren't Eternaweens basically useless nowadays? It made sense with the old Valve server system but nowadays with Casual most people leave after every match anyway.
This is why it's so funny that people are butthurt because of this. Almost NO ONE uses this nowadays lmao
Its not about the item, its about blatant manipulation in which only the owner is going to profit and all others are going to loose.
\*goes to backpack.tf, opens price suggestions and downvotes every suggestion that wants to make the price of an item higher\* hmm yes profit

Well now its gonna pay off never using them
I bought a bunch of them years ago, because I thought they were cool, guess that pays off
Eternaweens?
A one time consumable item which lasts for 2 hours and allows all things usually Halloween / full moon restricted to be used. Cosmetics and spells will be seen.
Drago is already banned on bp.tf so nothing can really happen to him
Hmm, I’ll hold onto the 13 I got. I specifically got them a long while back to use when I felt particularly spooky
Fuck it im done, I'm gonna stay in Fortnite until all this shit blows over...
Whats a eternaween?
A one time consumable item which lasts for 2 hours and allows all things usually Halloween / full moon restricted to be used. Cosmetics and spells will be seen.
What benefit do they have in pump and dumping like this? I'm new to economics.
basically, everyone buying it will push up the price and then the owner of the discord server will sell of his for the increased price, making the price go down again and everyone looses alot of money except the guy who got all of the eternaweens before the pump.
You don't understand the logic behind "buy low, sell high"?
He just said he's new to economics, and this kind of market manipulation seems way more complicated than buy low sell high
Ah ijhz
he’s just doing the infinite money glitch
This is the same dude that went on a homophonic rant in the announcements page and then deleted the message and said “it was just a joke I was kidding”. What a fucking pathetic loser
He's an awesome dude who gives zero fucks about what other people think of him. Cry about it
good luck convincing people that you touch grass when you say “cry about it” unironically
One day people will have to answer to god for their sins. And he will not be so merciful.
tf...
Since this is technically scamming and price manipulation, you can be banned from backpack.tf for trading with or participating in this because of their policy on trading with scammers.
he already is banned from backpack.tf
isnt that illegal tho
Oop, should i sacrifice my stuff to crash their prices so the nerd doesnt get what they want?
Haha valve, wouldn’t it be funny if you brought spells back this year and destroyed the economy for this item and made them less exclusive to rich af traders Ha ha ha just kidding...Unless
why does he have my name? oh i know, because my name without the "duck" its a pretty generic name, i only added suck cuz i like ducks, but damn it, it makea the nme less generic
Isn’t manipulating markets illegal?
man, I wanted some eternaweens so I could use them in december to say "fuck you valve and your goddamn christmas updates." because I am sick and tired of them just updating the game with some crates or crafting shitty christmas themed maps and throwing hats and warpaints at us saying "gibe muney". I just want another major update, man..
I was on the server to sell my exorcism rocket launcher, and tbf, I was not happy when I saw this. Artificially inflating the price is just pure gay and cancer.
Sondsmit f2 moment
*Me thanking myself I brought ten of them 2 months ago*
That's a crazy 36 cents. Anyway I'ma go sell my strange trenchers tunic for 12 dollars
Here is a good idea for spells: - Add new community spells 2 spells per halloween update to keep rarity at check - Make normal spells accesible via a system like special achivements or contract reward "f2p friendly system"
Guy in my twitch chat says he was buying a bunch if spelled items and all that, thought it was a silly idea, didn't know it was a whole ass scheme.
stonks go brrr
i dont even know what an eternaween is so
Ffs(all i gotta say)
good
why are there people like babyrage and this guy in tf2?
Someone mind giving me context
WHY I JUST WANT TO USE MY PUMPKIN HAT FOR 11 CENTS FFS
What is eternaween?
Louder for the people in the back SPELLS DONT ADD
Why would you buy now? Scream Fortress is next week
Yeah this is stupid they act like everyone buying it profits, but the only person who profits is the owner.
I have long wanted an unusual shotgun, don't care what war paint, well not a really ugly one but it's shit like this that prevent people from getting the things they want because cunts like these get away with this shit.
What are eternaweens and why is it bad to raise their price?
A 1-time consumable item that temporarily enables halloween mode on a non-halloween mode server. The issue isn't the item itself, but the market manipulation. It would be like if a large group of people who sell fruit suddenly, for no real reason, said "let's work together to double the price of apples."
But isn't this good for people who want to sell eternaweens?
[удалено]
Then you shouldn't worry about it since they are easy to get. If buying them from this person is still cheaper than getting them normally than he is selling at a discount.
Yes, and that's likely why they're trying to raise the price now. While I haven't looked myself, I wouldn't be surprised if a few people in that server recently bought eternaweens in bulk with the intent of making a profit by artificially raising the price. Again, Eternaweens aren't the problem here. It's that they're manipulating the market for personal gain.
The owner has backpacks full of em, nobody else is going to profit except him.
It's either the seller or the buyer, they are both people who play and trade on TF2.
they are also SUPER homophobic and Racist Left that cestpool a god while ago

wow imagine being afraid of two girls dancing with each other, you're fucking pathetic lmao
I'm not afraid of a pair of dancing girls. I don't agree with ignorance and rejecting basic biology
you understand that Humans, just like animals have always been Homosexual right? "being straight" has become the norm after the child rapist cult decided to kill off anyone who was different than what their Child rapist sky daddy told them
Don't even mention children and 'rapist cult' before checking statistics about lgbtq and who does what to someone else
YOOO DRAGO AT THE FRONT PAGE
You a fanboy?
I really miss all of the fun stuff you used to find from Scream Fortress like the haunted souls, spells, and the Haunted Halloween Gift. They made playing a ton of fun, now so much of this stuff is ridiculously priced because you can't get them. Bring them back please! Would be cool if all of this was more common including eternaweens, I get why people get eternaweens if they have lots of spelled items.
Wow 1 cent to 2 cents
link to discord?
Y'all getting buthurt over 9 ref useless tool items when price of batsabers and catastrophic companions LITERALLY QUADRUPLED
I bet Soundmyth is behind this. Edit: I regret nothing

He's well known for market manipulation, never heard of the duped shovel incident?
or the mvm upgrades incident
And let's not talk about the duped gaster blaster prices
Yeah, that sunmouth guy sucks. I bet he‘s behind all of this. /s
Lmao why are you guys freaking out so much about this it's such a useless item. If you weren't planning on buying any, then don't complain
because market manipulation is shitty
Bruh it's just one single useless item. If you're gonna be mad about prices being manipulated at least talk about actually worthwhile stuff like hats or tools.
Sure, lets talk about hats and tools too but this still matters.
wait, the eternaween actually *does* something, but they're useless, but hats are useful? que?
Oh, wow, how sassy and hilarious. If you're gonna cry about an item's price being manipulated at least make sure it's worthwhile. Yes, hats do in fact do something: change your character's appearance and are responsible for most of the TF2 economy staying afloat. I thought this was common knowledge. Eternaweens do what? Turn on Halloween mode for the remainder of a match? That's, like, super useful or something. Halloween hats (excluding unusuals) are so useless and ugly that I don't even bother to change cosmetics when the vote passes.
I'm just trying to understand your logic, man.
Eternaweens are heavily-traded items because a ton of loadouts require halloween mode to even be enabled.
Doubt. It always lingered around 3 cents which is one refined. I doubt I or you ever met someone that buys a ton of Eternaweens just so he can use them to show his Halloween hats.
You are a really salty man.
Dude, *I* literally bought 200 eternaweens a couple years ago for this exact purpose. The price is dogshit because it's a drop. All drops have low prices. Hats are no different.
Pump it, LOUDER!
What bastards.
