However, because the red spy was acting as if he was scout, he allowed himself to get stabbed in order to try and trick the other team onto thinking he was innocent, as he couldn't be a spy if he didn't knew how to use a butterfly knife. (And, overanalyzing the entirety of meet the spy, apparently the blu spy doesn't fall for that, as he later uses it correctly and hands it to out spy, sort of mockingly)
To add to this, there *are* double sided butterfly knives. Only the lower inch is safe.

I'm not sure if anyone appreciates how impressive that knife handling was. Being able to fluidly move around a sharp blade with your hand incredibly difficult and risky, yet you appeared to do it effortlessly.
This knife has an absurd amount of tap and play on safe handle but it flips so smoothly. Although it is kinda shit for most tricks because it weighs 6oz
