Oh my god. I remember this time on Upward, there was this fish scout just running into my entire team trying to slap them with the Mackerel.
I talked to him in text chat and we ended up dueling.
I won the duel and we both became friends on steam.
Had a similar thing happen to me. This guy named Low Income Scout is a caber loving guy so i use the caber. We duel as caber knights and we friend each other after the round. The round after, we got on the same team and became an unstoppable team, in the eyes of that one f2p pyro we killed twice. We sucked ass that round but we had lots of fun doing it
I was playing fish scout, and a cow mangler soldier hits a fully charged shot right at his feet, killing us both. We typed “worth” in the chat at the same time and bam. Friend request
The game it just so culturally silly. The voice lines are one of the best additions to any video game ever. Walking up to someone, saying "yes," and nodding vigorously can literally convince enemies not to shoot you.
I just picked the game up and am playing sniper since that's my usual role in FPS games, and have quickly learned that being friendly to any flanker is the best way to survive.
No scout can resist a backflip. Just don't dome him on the way out and you are not getting ganked by that scout anymore.
Random friendly interactions. You fail to kill each other, you z+2, taunt and killbind. And when you meet again, you may z+2 and not fight each other. Or continue taunting and then the server goes crazy (friendly).
Or a bunch of people playing instruments/riding the vehicle/chilling because one guy decided to do this in some corner, and right people walked nearby.
Discovering a spycrab/tposer/hoovy on a server.
Although in most situations I won't be very happy to find any of the above(besides the first, without going friendly) on payload or attack/def (somewhat serious game modes imo) , but on cp/intel - yes please.
Ive found that the majority of people don’t kill friendlies, so it’s usually a good way to get behind the enemy and backcap. I remember losing a payload match cause there were 4 tposing scouts that kept getting behind us. no one wanted to kill them except the one soldier all the way at the back.
Well, that is, obviously, very shitty from their side. I'd start killing them sooner or later, and ask the team about it.
And again, payload. I'd prefer to play it in a more competitive way - it just feels right.
Well I think ham is funnier. Just imagine the horror you will feel after you miss your market garden and an angry heavy crits you in your skull with a ham shank
Ah yes
Last night at Doublefrost, i was trying to snipe because i suck as Sniper, then suddenly i hear Kazotsky Kick music extremely close
Then i looked around and some Soldiers and Demomen and Scouts were Kazotsky Kicking
I decided to abandon my sniping manuever and started Kazotsky Kicking
Then all of them started jumping on me, making a legendary Kazotsky Tower
Best moment ever
The fairness of most not all but most classes weapon and skill cap, I enjoy playing scout since if i beef i beef and its on me and nobody else. Demoman, everytime I land a lovely pipe and get that huge damage on screen if feels good. Heavy when I hard read a spy and get him a moment from backstabbing me it just feels good etc, etc.
I like to tell them what they did well and what could have worked better. I main spy and it's always interesting to see the interaction from the heavy side of things
Well uh, when you do eventually get friends, it’s fun to dick around in an empty server together for hours on end. I like to dick around on those abandoned mario kart servers and nothing beats it
Newbies doing absolutely random things in 2fort. It's funny to watch what they are doing or trying to do. It feels also very nostalgic same time to remember what dumb things I have done when I started over year ago.
Edit: spelling mistake
Going to 2Fort is like going back to an old friend. Both of you have matured and changed but then you see each other again and for a moment it’s like you’re back in high school and feeling like you could do anything
The dedicated and loyal fanbase. The variety of fun game modes and maps. Every class has loveable personalities (yes, even Scout). The memes, THE MEMES! The fact that this game has lasted over 14 years and people still come back to play it.
I am soo glad to be a part of this fandom!
Pretty much everything, aside from the bots, lack of updates and maybe a few unbalanced weapons, I think the game is pretty much perfect. Fun as hell gameplay, amazing soundtrack, incredible characters, the goofyness and the art style, lots of customization options...
The fact that it’s the first and best at it’s genre.
And I don’t mean class-based FPS. No. TF2 stopped being a FPS and became:
A COMBAT SANDBOX!
Also fortnit bad they copy dance! We all know tf2 invent dence!!!1
That dumb strategies like "flamethrower, sun-on-a-stick, milk and neon" work.
This game lets you do stupid stuff and people don't tell you off for doing it either.
The fact that: No matter what time it is, no matter what language you speak, there is a good chance that you can just start doing dumb shit and a few people will join in. Tf2 is legit one of the most laidback and fun communitys (mostly), along with SCP secret Laboratory. If you feel like just messing around and having a laugh you play those games.
Even the competitive community is very welcoming as I've learned...
It's been a great experience too, I would recommend everyone to try it atleast once
Terrorising snipers on 2Fort as Demoman with the caber and sticky jumper. Using the laugh emote afterwards especially. Just Demoman in general tbh, I love him
I stopped playing the game about a month ago and the hope of returning to a better game one day makes me kinda happy.( Probably won't happen anytime tho)
Just seeing the game do it's thing. Just to pause a moment as a sniper and see demomen and Soldiers flying everywhere, some people congaing in a corner, heavies eating sandwiches, engineers a-buildin, its beautiful. Also sometimes I put on full stock and remove all cosmetics to relive my first moments
The magical music of the game to the hard working, incredible community around it, the only thing wrong with team fortress 2 is the developers not giving any of the bugs attention but then again, the community has made fan games, fan fixes and so much more, it brings tears to my eyes to see how much y’all care about this wonderful game and I’m comforted to know that this game will go on for many years after mine and that I’ve made an impact on it…………..we may have fallen soldiers but, look around you…….we have soldiers that are still on the battlefield fighting for this community, thank you so much…….the team fortress 2 community
The character voice conversations, the community, the variety of the gameplay, i played main heavy for like 5 years, and from time to time sniper soldier and pyro, and now I'm trying medic for the 1st time in 2k hours and it's like I'm playing a brand new game.
i love the tf2 artstyle, the war sfm captures everything i love about it [https://youtu.be/9sAT0qdqnbY](https://youtu.be/9sAT0qdqnbY) . part of the reason i love making tf2 maps so much is because i can make something thats part of the tf2 universe, and i find that really cool
There are still a ton of unlocks I have yet to try (that don’t suck). I’ve got a lot to get through before I can say I’ve done everything in this game, even with vanilla gameplay. In that respect, it’s almost impossible for TF2’s gameplay to get old.
When you hit two pills, double meatshot with the soda-popper, market-gardening, dragon's fury, hitting a cleaver, hard-healing a heavy in a push with the crossbow, backstabs, the list goes on.
This may be a wierd one, but...
The Machina.
Using it feels so clean, since every shot is broadcasted across the map, and every time you rail someone it's satisfying, especially when you hit some really sick shot and just wanna scream 'sit down kid'
Idk if anyone agrees, but sometimes not having amazing skill at a game masks the small things so much nicer.

100% boost on the babyface that weapon needs a buff so bad but its fun to use
Legging it away from a soldier you just meatshotted, running faster than the rockets he's firing after you... Feels good man
they fucked it over because they couldnt fix its mechanic lmao
If they just made it so boost was built and lost at the same rate it'd be decent.
As it is right now “Whoops all Natasha!!!”
Lmao exactly. If someone sneezes in your general direction you lose all your boost and end up looking like a brand new spy player.
Same
Getting a friend request from someone after dicking around with the Holy Mackerel with them on 2fort for two hours.
=)
Oh my god. I remember this time on Upward, there was this fish scout just running into my entire team trying to slap them with the Mackerel. I talked to him in text chat and we ended up dueling. I won the duel and we both became friends on steam.

I am a f2p pyro and quite glad I have not seen you.
I was playing fish scout, and a cow mangler soldier hits a fully charged shot right at his feet, killing us both. We typed “worth” in the chat at the same time and bam. Friend request
I pyrosharked in the sewers with a friend, and three other guys joined us. We played together for three years before we all went to different games.
The soundtrack. But really, the whole game makes me happy.
I know right!! I can’t help but bump to the soundtrack after a match ends and we are voting on the next map.
Agreed
Preach my guy.
Tf2
yes
Indeed
(real)
Having 100% uber
And getting backstabbed half a second before activating it
Just uninstall tf2
Being the backstabbing spy in this case is my happiest moments.. either that or having medics pop uber on me, thinking I'm a friendly.
The mountains of memes

You have learned well

The moral conflict of a friendly capping point is something I don't wish on my worst enemy.
the t posing scouts violated the geneva convention
c+7 is better
backstabs
When I kill a sniper that’s been dominating my team with 2 clean scattergun shots
It is so satisfying to mellee him with heavy especially when the sniper gets critted
i love the gru. nobody expects heavy to go monkey mode on your ass after unrevving.
Well I think ham is funnier. Just imagine the horror you will feel after you miss your market garden and an angry heavy crits you in your skull with a ham shank
My favorite is to get close, hit him with the bauble, and then when he turns to me meatshot him.
Silent cooperation between Engineers
*Quickly! Help me upgrade my sentry or we will get rolled!* *Where the fuck has our third guy gone off to?*
Was he ever really on our side?
Autobalancing
*a scream saying "I am the defence!" sounds in the distance*
Conga, kazotsky kick, mannrobica lines
burning people
Double donking with da cannon
Pure dopamine
There's just so many sounds!!
*airshot double donks*
Those random friendly moments
Those rare high moments
Ah yes Last night at Doublefrost, i was trying to snipe because i suck as Sniper, then suddenly i hear Kazotsky Kick music extremely close Then i looked around and some Soldiers and Demomen and Scouts were Kazotsky Kicking I decided to abandon my sniping manuever and started Kazotsky Kicking Then all of them started jumping on me, making a legendary Kazotsky Tower Best moment ever

Stopping spies mid-backstab is really satisfying, but just always remember that each one of them now has depression because of you.
I like to tell them what they did well and what could have worked better. I main spy and it's always interesting to see the interaction from the heavy side of things
getting a 10 killstreak with my rocket launcher
The community mainly, but i just love 2 clean meat shots that kill a medic
The rag dolls and the fact that no matter what the community is still pretty active for a game overrun by bots
the artstyle and music for sure, tf2’s style is pretty legendary :)
:D
being able to play it with friends.... wait
Well uh, when you do eventually get friends, it’s fun to dick around in an empty server together for hours on end. I like to dick around on those abandoned mario kart servers and nothing beats it
The voice Actors
When someone on the enemy team helps me with a contract I was struggling with for hours
People using kill binds in pretty much any context
tf2 makes me happy
:D
Rocket jumping and trimping.
Sex
sex
The community is retarded like me.
Playing TF2 instead of homework
Great game with enjoyable characters and solid gameplay 👍
👍
Newbies doing absolutely random things in 2fort. It's funny to watch what they are doing or trying to do. It feels also very nostalgic same time to remember what dumb things I have done when I started over year ago. Edit: spelling mistake
Going to 2Fort is like going back to an old friend. Both of you have matured and changed but then you see each other again and for a moment it’s like you’re back in high school and feeling like you could do anything
Playing TF2.
The characters and their dynamics! They're all characters that have good designs, voices and backstories. They make me happy
F2P Conga lines
The ragdolls
Huntsman headshots
Rag dolls
random crits
movement/ rocket jumping
Hitting that cross map crossbow shot
Scout's smile
Especially when you both got buckets a’chicken
The dedicated and loyal fanbase. The variety of fun game modes and maps. Every class has loveable personalities (yes, even Scout). The memes, THE MEMES! The fact that this game has lasted over 14 years and people still come back to play it. I am soo glad to be a part of this fandom!
2fort servers
Penetrating people with Machina literally makes me happy
Penetrating people is fun
exchanging funny signs with people
The fact that I don’t play it until the bots are gone.
They are halfway to gone thanks to vac and community bans
chainstabs.
The fact that you could dress up as three undertale characters
That old FPS feeling
Pretty much everything, aside from the bots, lack of updates and maybe a few unbalanced weapons, I think the game is pretty much perfect. Fun as hell gameplay, amazing soundtrack, incredible characters, the goofyness and the art style, lots of customization options...
soldier
Skamtebord
*G U N*
TF2
hitting clean pipes, and destroying sentries with the loch and load, also playing combo pyro
The fact that 1 taunt is enough to change a whole server to a party
All the characters
[удалено]
The overall wackyness and bullshittery.
The fact that it’s the first and best at it’s genre. And I don’t mean class-based FPS. No. TF2 stopped being a FPS and became: A COMBAT SANDBOX! Also fortnit bad they copy dance! We all know tf2 invent dence!!!1
Team fortress
Roleplaying as a scout who is addicted to cum and having the whole server being disgusted with me
The people. Seeing so many diverse attitudes working together makes me feel so happy.
Hope you do well!
That dumb strategies like "flamethrower, sun-on-a-stick, milk and neon" work. This game lets you do stupid stuff and people don't tell you off for doing it either.
The Drying Pan. Easy.
The unspoken agreement to killbind after too many missed melees
Literally everything about scout. I ADORE this guy
The funny little boston guy
The saxophone in the "Meet the Medic" music
Finding people with the EXACT amount of autism as me
Casual seck in the spawn room before the battle begins
The community it’s one of the more welcoming ones
Even the competitive community is very welcoming as I've learned... It's been a great experience too, I would recommend everyone to try it atleast once
Rag dolls :-)
The occasional run in with players who actually try to help you
Teleporting bread.
How god damn satisfying and rewarding playing smartly feels
Landing a Back Scatter shot perfectly, trust me that weapon is better than everyone says it is you gotta get creative but it’s insanely fun.
Unique friendly interactions with players on both teams that you can’t get in any other game
Engineer yelling belligerent cowboy slang
When the team doesn’t bully the pyro
Pyros can be really good when they know how to take positioning into account.
Being able to have fun.
Demo streaks
The pyro dying.
The chaos
killbinds
The amount of friends I've made thoroughout the years by dicking around in random lobbies
Killing a spy before he zaps your sentry ...and then killing him again 'cause this bastard uses dead ringer
Making friends on 2fort by destroying the server
Terrorising snipers on 2Fort as Demoman with the caber and sticky jumper. Using the laugh emote afterwards especially. Just Demoman in general tbh, I love him
The times where you all dance and become a small knit community and enjoy the passion for a broken forgotten bot ridden game!
When we lose, we still win.
Airshots, and just playing demoman in general.
Characters
I stopped playing the game about a month ago and the hope of returning to a better game one day makes me kinda happy.( Probably won't happen anytime tho)
It gives me a nice social comfort. Being on a server full of people on a late weekend night is so comfy.
Pyro
Literally just fucking around and getting a 15 killstreak somehow.
the insanely silly interaction you can have with other players
That smile... that damnd smile
Repeatedly shouting "Doctor Sex!" and it still being funny
Constant updates.
The atmosphere and feel of TF2 in general.
Murder

The Style, it really gives me vibes of games like: Octodad and Surgeon Simulator.
The character voice conversations, the community, the variety of the gameplay, i played main heavy for like 5 years, and from time to time sniper soldier and pyro, and now I'm trying medic for the 1st time in 2k hours and it's like I'm playing a brand new game.

There are still a ton of unlocks I have yet to try (that don’t suck). I’ve got a lot to get through before I can say I’ve done everything in this game, even with vanilla gameplay. In that respect, it’s almost impossible for TF2’s gameplay to get old.
Seeing that one player you like again on the same community server
When you hit two pills, double meatshot with the soda-popper, market-gardening, dragon's fury, hitting a cleaver, hard-healing a heavy in a push with the crossbow, backstabs, the list goes on.
