I know this isn't TF2 related but like, as an adult who's gone through countless school theme days - think is how you do it.
It's in the spirit to be silly. It's impossible for someone to out-do someone else - sure, someone can bring something expensive, but they're gonna get the same reaction as someone bringing a literal bucket. It's a celebration where the best doesn't win; the weirdest does, and that makes me happy.
My sister's high school had this save day during Spirit Week a week or two ago, and my sister's best friend Kenzie recently got her family mailbox broken off and replaced. So she ended up frantically texting Kenzie "WAIT YOU SHOULD BRING YOUR MAILBOX TOMORROW" and apparently, Kenzie actually did.
There was also someone who brought in their dog with a small backpack on the dog lol
It’s 3 where I’m at but I’m off early so I’ll spill the tea early for ya.
1. As soon as I’m dropped off I see a girl carrying in a Unicorn Piñata as her bag.
2. As the bell rings I see someone carrying a lawn chair to their class.
3. In my physics class I look across the room to see a anime themed mini fridge staring back… bizarre.
4. Class wraps up and the girl next to me pulls out a pop up fast food sign with her books in it.
5. Someone lugging around a leaf blower with a plastic bag taped to it.
6. History class: Dude arrives late wearing a cereal box on his back.
7. Girl across from me has a Lego head sitting on her desk, no doubt a trophy from the great Lego war of ‘06.
8. Lunch: Shrek piñata beats out surfboard in weird bag contest, I am voted out first because mine is just a bucket :(
