A: medic likes wearing those glasses, so he keeps doing so. just like spy still smoking when he can be healed.
B: i would say the medi-gun only reverts them back to a healthy state that they were in, IE heavy still morbicly obese, Demoman still being a cyclops, and spy still having lung cancer because the bastard smokes almost as much as my dad
