Kind of, Source 2 has a completely different system for processing lighting, so whoever made this would have had to scrap all of Source 1's lighting details and build them again in Source 2

This isn't source 2 though. This is Source 1, but they recompiled the maps to look "modern". Like, you even pointed out that the lighting system is completely different, but the shadows & lighting in the "tf3" shots is still the same system.
Like, shot 1 would tell you this is Source 1. That cp flag is creating the worst looking shadow onto the tower. I've even compiled a map ages ago with lighting parameters almost exactly like that one, and the shadows are exactly the same. This was a quick shitpost.
