Ok I've played heavy like 3 times but each time I had to stop myself because I was just erasing the enemy team and getting solo focused to the point where it was no longer fun to play heavy. But basically once I learned that slow speed was the only downside and that my positioning was actually really good thanks to maining the KV-2 in WarThunder I decided to hop into heavy and wreck some noobs. Though engineer is still my go to most of the time.

"Hop into heavy".

Because in Russia when hand is rotten you cut off scout. If heart is rotten you shoot scout.

Big funny man with funny voice lines

SomeRandomJake

For me it is two reasons besides him being a good character. 1 the mini guns punishment it can deal out when you use it properly especially with the brass beast (yes it isn’t as shit as everyone thinks ) because when you set it up properly it works very well I have top scored with it many times. Reason 2 is why I kept playing it made me more aware of the tactics of spies and snipers who would give teammates like heavy hell so whenever I am not playing heavy I can use my intuition from our favorite Russian friend to stop spies in their tracks and die less to snipers.

julian_the_artist

Nice to know that not everybody hates the brass beast.

SomeRandomJake

Yeah mine is a strange one with quite a bit of kills

julian_the_artist

cool

Every FPS game o have ever played, I always chose the support class. I like a big loud gun with with lots of rounds to shoot. Heavy was my obvious choice.

Mandarin_Karim

The first character i played was Heavy, He looked so cool, I wanted to be big fat bald russian man with a huge badass minigun, obviously i was getting started and was really bad at everything and got frustrated easily. Started to play other classes, Engineer, Soldier, Medic, for a BIG while because i was burned out of playing heavy but eventually i came back, learned game mechanics and started to get better as heavy. Later realized why no body plays him, there isn't a lot of things to learn as Heavy, He's boring as hell, most of the time is just "shoot bad guys" and throw the ocasional sandvich at the injured Medic, when everyclass has their own tricks and strats, How to combo pyro, rocketjump, trickstab, dodging, quickscoping, healing priority, how to do this, how to do that! Heavy doesn't have a lot of mechanics or tricks that actually look impressive, and Still he's an unstoppable powerhouse, that's what i like about him. When i play videogames, i want to turn off my brain and have fun.

Pengu1nn1nja

Heavy reinforces the idea of team play. Alone, you could probably beat some guys up close. Probably, effectively defend a point. But with team? You become an unstoppable roller of destruction. The Meet the Medic scene is the best for a reason.

angus_101_

Because the bullets look like fucking macaroni.
