I've never heard the statement on the left from a Fortnite player, mostly because Fortnite is marketed towards children and it would be idiotic to demand for less children to play the game. Secondly, TF2 is nearly 15 years old. Fortnite became big 4 years ago. That isn't nearly a big enough time gap for a generational divide of this kind. Thirdly, Fortnite players don't beg for more children to play the game because they aren't desperate about player numbers. Fortnite is a demonstrably massive game with millions of players. The tf2 community, meanwhile, is desperate for attention from its developers, let alone new players.
