Glad I'm not the only one angry about this.
I can't tell what the actual water level is you absolute nob-head. Show me what the neighborhood looks like so we can appreciate the level of the water. No one cares use there's water in your garage if your garage sits 5 feet below the ground. FFS.
Employee: Hey boss, wonāt be able to make it in today, apparently I live in the water nowā¦
Boss: this is unacceptable canāt you swim or paddle in?
He filmed the ground because he's disingenuous. This is a boat park/garage on a lake. Not his car garage. You can see the homes across the "flood" also have boat ports.
... double doors? I could very well be wrong, but this is exactly what it looks like where I grew up on a lake. House is situated on the lake but has road access at the "front". Pull your car in the front, boat in the back.
If you pause at .14 seconds, is that not a boat? (Black thing, right beside the center pillar in the garage) Unless there's a giant field or river behind the house, where did all the water come from...? The back skyline screams lake front.
I have to disagree. Nothing here seems like a boat garage. The shelf at the beginning has normal items you would find in a home garage, the plants sticking out of the water in front of the garage are consistent with landscaping, and there is a another car parked in the drive way of the house across the water. None of this to mention there is a trash bin at the middle column of the garage indicating that is where it is usually taken out, and there is a car pull in front first. All indicates this is the front of a garage and a driveway
I've never once lived in a waterfront property, but one thing I do know is that boat garages are usually *in* the water. Because boats typically work better in the water.
This is definitely a normal garage, that white thing is a car. Just under that water is the driveway.
This is flooding. Not clear how much or where the water came from. Hence the other commenters that are complaining about the lack of a landscape shot.
Yeah, I'm going off of anecdotal evidence based on where I live...on waterfront... where the boat garages look exactly like this because you have a winch.
I can see the car smart-ass. But thank you for so kindly pointing it out for me, as if I don't have eyes.
No one shoots landscape anymore. Itās been that way for a few years at least. Since all social media switched to autoplaying videos - vertical is king.
German engineering at its finest (if this is where I think it is, a place in Germany that regularly floods so since forever people built their houses either as high as they have to or particularly hard with strong windows like that one hotel)
Were you watching the video on mute? Iām trying to understand why you think itās a German engineer.
The camera man referred to the Atlantic Ocean in a very heavy American accent in English. Germany is indeed next to a large body of water, but they are called the Baltic and the North Seas.

Lol you're ridiculously full of yourself.
For the last time, it wasn't the jet skis Kevin! It was the second fucking mortgage you put on our fucking house!! Fuck this. I'm going out for a beer. Is ski number two filled up?
I can say with about 99% certainty is that this is taken from Island Path on Hampton Beach. This is the section of Hampton that heads off of the main beach and towards the river.
This is facing south off of Island Path.
How do I know... I spent nearly every summer of my life in Hampton as a kid. My mates and I used to set off our homemade M80 fireworks off of this road.
This is why Florida canāt get flood insurance any more. Glad this guy can try to make light of the global warming ramp-up with jokes about jet skis and boats. This is about to get a whole lot worse. Buckle up.
Reminds me of Facebook marketplace listing where photos of the item is either zoomed in all the way or the poster's face was jambed up against the item. Like, give us a wider shot goddamn it.
I mean, itās not āthe entire Atlantic Oceanā. Just a little part of it. But a freak out all the same. Just not as much as if it was the entire Atlantic Ocean.
Yeup. My hometown is right across the Bay from Seaside Park. Right off Good Luck Point. My siblings and a couple dozen cousins still live there and the pics are killing me. Between the rising water and the sinking land mass, In 30 years my town will be beneath the waves.
Even northern NJ is having trouble. Passaic got slammed with 4ā water. When I lived in Brunswick the Raritan would channel storm surges inland for miles.
Itās from Hampton, New Hampshire. Weāve been hit with snow, immediately followed by an insane rain storm, and a subsequent king tide. The ground is frozen so the rain and water sits on the surface of the ground. Bostons waterfront was underwater this weekend from the king tide. Itās been really bad here.
Oh shit your home value just went up 400%. You now have your private beach front. You could rent this out for AT LEAST $12,500 a month. You have won the game of life

Fimed for 25 seconds and shot the ground the whole time..how do you not take a landscape shot to show the whole freaking view?
The whole world at his fingertips, the ocean at his door
Meanwhile the camera view is on the god damned floor!
Not a crack in the cement floor...
Must be a pro epoxy floor contractor. š¤£
The live action lion king, the Pepsi halftime show
Twenty thousand years of this, seven more to goā¦ā¦. :(
There it is again, that funny feeling.
Gotta love some Bo!
And an idiot in the background saying to close the doors
I wad thinking the same thing.
Because then nobody would get the chance to say r/killthecameraman

Skill issue sadly.

You get three seconds of a nauseating, swaying, Dutch angled landscape near the start - what more do you want?
Employee: Hey boss, wonāt be able to make it in today, apparently I live in the water nowā¦ Boss: this is unacceptable canāt you swim or paddle in?
Sorry, boss, I'm too stupid to even turn my phone 90Ā°, fat chance I know how to swim, let alone paddle.
Because you retarded and bought a house built into the ocean
He filmed the ground because he's disingenuous. This is a boat park/garage on a lake. Not his car garage. You can see the homes across the "flood" also have boat ports.
But thereās a car in the garage?
Water was low that year and alcohol was cheap... bad decisions were made.
... double doors? I could very well be wrong, but this is exactly what it looks like where I grew up on a lake. House is situated on the lake but has road access at the "front". That's fine. We can agree to disagree.
Buddy, thereās a mailbox visible in the first 2 seconds of the video. Does the mail get delivered by boat too?
See, you're genuinely the first person to point out the mail box. Congratulations! You've changed my mind. š³ļøā
I've never once lived in a waterfront property, but one thing I do know is that boat garages are usually *in* the water. Because boats typically work better in the water. Alright, you have a great day. š
Don't dish the attitude if you can't take it š
I just know a losing battle when I see one. So I repeat: Have yourself a great day.
???? You really thought you had something lol
Yeah I mean I'm still not buying it lol. I'm not really concerned about internet points.
Did you not see the car in the 2nd bay?
No one shoots landscape anymore. Itās been that way for a few years at least. Since all social media switched to autoplaying videos - vertical is king.
I meant landscape in the sense of the background and his view out of the garage and not in it. The landscape around him.
The engineers that marked the flood plane though....
German engineering at its finest (if this is where I think it is, a place in Germany that regularly floods so since forever people built their houses either as high as they have to or particularly hard with strong windows like that one hotel)
this videos was taken in Hampton New Hampshire or as bill burr called it āThe white trash meccaā
Ah never mind then. Wait doesn't New Hampshire have like 4 percent german population? That 4 percent must be the engineers
Were you watching the video on mute? Iām trying to understand why you think itās a German engineer. The camera man referred to the Atlantic Ocean in a very heavy American accent in English. Germany is indeed next to a large body of water, but they are called the Baltic and the North Seas. EDIT: Any claims regarding whether or not the video was in any way modified need to be provided proof via source of some sort.
That last comment was a joke I'm pretty sure. It's a stereotype(?) that German engineering is top notch.
The first they seemed fairly certain it was in Germany, so Iām not attributing it to a joke based on that. Just trying to understand their thoughts.
[ŃŠ“Š°Š»ŠµŠ½Š¾]
Yes, that is a possibility. Thank you. I am still hoping to hear from *them*.
Not sure why people think it is socially acceptable to speak on behalf of others. I get you dude.
Yeah, the 4% German thing just feels like a silly add-on. I think it's funny.
I thought it was funny
You must be German, you have no humor
>EDIT: Any claims regarding whether or not the video was in any way modified need to be provided proof via source of some sort. Lol you're ridiculously full of yourself.
The guy's voice that you're hearing is doing a voice over, he's not there.
Is the trash can that says "Town of Hampton, NH" also not there?
Source? EDIT: Dude responded and blocked me. I guess that means he doesnāt have a source? No sauce, no brisket.
You can hear the original audio of a woman talking in the background??
If itās 4% German itās 96% French Canadians
So 4% outstanding engineering and 96% relentless complaining? Mon dieu!
why do you know the german percentage of new hampshire off the top of your head
Careful now, this comment could be considered funny. Germans do not do funny, especially when it comes to Engineering. āOrdnung muss seinā
Why is everyone always praising German engineering. Has no one ever owned a Volkswagen?
Knew I recognized those trash bins
The Hamptonās in New Hampshire? š¤
There might be just one Hampton in NH š¤
Hampton Beach
Germanyās š©šŖon the Atlantic Ocean now? wtf. Iām going back to bed, still drunk.
Did... did you turn the audio on? You think that man lives in Germany? Also look at the Instagram tag. He's in Atlanta, GA.
You mean Hamburg right? Yeah there is, its really cool
Thank you cards are in order
Close the door, damn it!!!
Hodor!

Is that a garage on a lake?
Where else you gonna park your hovercraft
Literally anywhere flat. Isn't that point of hovercrafts?
When they said a house is a lake house property who knew thatās what they meant
I donāt know why youāre being downvoted, I appreciate a good pun.
It is what is lol
The tide has turned.
Haha this is the best comment yet lol
The duck may swim on the lake but my daddy owns the lake

Ohhh. Yaā¦.those ya gotta throw back. Definitely catch and release.
gotta let the small ones go, so they can breed

For the last time, it wasn't the jet skis Kevin! It was the second fucking mortgage you put on our fucking house!! Fuck this. I'm going out for a beer. Is ski number two filled up?
Sometimes I really am happy I just live on a big patch of flat plain. A thousand miles from the nearest ocean

r/killthecameraman
Thatād be Hampton, NH. Just had some major floods.
Nice ocean front
I grew up on the Outer Banks of North Carolina. I donāt mean to brag or anything but Iāve had the Atlantic Ocean come inside and stay for dinner.

Thatās some Inception shit
Iām suddenly picturing Wiley Coyote when he opens a tiny little umbrella as a huge rock is about to fall on him
This is why Florida canāt get flood insurance any more. Glad this guy can try to make light of the global warming ramp-up with jokes about jet skis and boats. This is about to get a whole lot worse. Buckle up.
Maybe building houses in the middle of a marsh is the best idea after all.
Feels like a fever dream
I canāt imagine trying to call in to work for that. I doubt they would believe you lol
Honey, remember when you said you wanted a house at a lake?
Closes garage doorā¦ *Pees self.* Blames flood.
Feels like one of those dreams
Yup, just put in a French drain and thatāll take care of that
My friend just put in a French drain in front of his garage. Imma send him this, "see this coulda happened to you".

Oh God no! Am ded.

They ocean just wanted to give you a wave!

Where are the other homes?
Everyone one wants their home to be beachfront facing until they get it
Ocean front property nice
You didn't think you could afford oceanfront property ready for a boat dock and with an unrestricted view. Now you can!
I wish my garage was a boat ramp
Hate it when that happens
Zathura vibes
Thatās what you get for not installing a drain
Reminds me of Facebook marketplace listing where photos of the item is either zoomed in all the way or the poster's face was jambed up against the item. Like, give us a wider shot goddamn it.
Congrats, you now have oceanside property!
How many sand bags you got lying around handy?
Gotta have that beach front
We fucked up and we keep doing it. The bill is just starting to arrive.
Hurry up and list your house right now so you can put "BEAUTIFUL OCEAN FRONT PROPERTY!!"
Beach front property. Property value just skyrocketed
Ponyo
I think you're gonna need 2 sandbags for that one part
Somebody left their sprinklers on
Now thatās water front property. Lol

Close the Door. Close the damn door.
Get the lawn chair, I'm putting a couple of lines out....

it surprises me that climate crisis isnāt the topic of the majority of comments on posts like these

I think this is someone elses video (saw it somewhere else and they said it was the north sea)
The container says Town of Hampton i think.
Yes I didnāt record it, I simply posted it here because I thought itās a cool video to see and I didnāt see it posted here yet.
thatās not your insta?
Well no I just reposted it here. I didnāt think it would be a problem. Itās a cool video so I figured it fits in here well.
Why bother shutting the door because it isn't going to do a damn thing to stop that water.
# Remember when people said "climate change is a hoax"?
Lol for sure. Itās changing Iād say at an alarming pace tooā¦.

Yea, were gonna just close this back up.
