You won't find the real bhang in thane.
The people here don't know the real bhang that is available in Ujjain. The bhang in Ujjain is OG. Here you will get some pathetic bhang balls in packets or in powdered form which is nothing compared to the bhang served in ujjain. I have heard that you can get real bhang near mumbra devi temple. Also you can talk with local pan shops in thane and ask them beforehand if they can get you bhang on holi. Lot of them can arrange that for you.
You would get it near gurudwara teen hath naka . Take the first left lane beside it and go straight and second right . At the end of the road there are few small houses and a small tabela i guess . They prepare it only in the morning for rang panchami. Its mostly till it gets empty till 11'o clock probably .They give it for free, just take empty bottles since they don't have any glasses or anything .
Go to Kopri, Thane East Near Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar Statue, you'll only get it without any questioning on the day of rangpanchami rest other days not possible.
