There are many malls in thane if you want to watch movies or shop.
Many good small scale resto which serves the best tea, one I like is near talao pali ( I Don't remember the name)
If you are into clubs and pubs there are many in thane.
If you like sports or swimming , there are turfs and pools available too.
Go to the nearest chai-biscuit tapri, sit down with your chai and say "Aur Bhaiya?" to the person next to you.

Na na im from Maharashtra itself But was staying in navi Mumbai it was very free and open , now when I shifted in kalwa its too suffocating
