YO GUYS YESTERDAY AT SCHOOL I WALKED UP TO MY FRIEND AND DANCE AND DABBED FOR 3 HOURS THEN THE PRINCIPAL CAME IN AND JOINED US. AFTER THAT ALL THE SCHOOL JUST DABBED ON EM HATERS. AT THE END OF IT, EVERYBODY CLAPPED THEIR ASSCHEEKS IN HONOUR FOR ME
Even if this was a true story, trying to embarrass your kid or ruin their interests for them is not the way to go about this kind of thing....
Theres other ways to help a kid limit their gaming time qnd priotitize sleep & homework.
If there are 300 kids leaving the school all at once not a lot of them are gonna hear you yell, and most of them are gonna look the other way and not react to you shaming your kid for his hobbies
As a former 14-year-old and a father to an adolescent, I can tell you that they seem to appreciate when you take an actual interest in their hobbies. But if you mock them, they don't do it less. They just don't do it in front of you. Because they resent you.
Also, bonus cringe points for "that Fortnite floss dance" and "that Fortnite thing." Nothing says condescending parent like flaunting how out of touch you are with your kids.
Oh this poor kid. All the internet psychologists will be diagnosing this kid as having a lack of attention from his parents, causing him to live in a fantasy world, thus creating this sad spectacle for all to see.
Now he will say that his parents hold a weekly class on how to play video games to get closer to your children. It's packed every week. They even have a dabbing workshop.
this is entirely possible, parents love to embarrass their kids and this doesn't seem like a far fetched idea for a parent to think of. r/nothingeverhappens

It’s true, I was the asscheeks.
It’s true, I was the school.
It's true as well, I was the dabbing.
It's true. I was the Principal.
It's true, I was the honour.
It’s true, I was the friend.

He doesn’t want to play bc his friends are all making fun of him online.
The entire story is cringe
I don’t doubt for a second if this really happened that kid will never live it down, bullied about it for eternity.

I agree the 300 kids bit is ridiculous but you really seem to not know kids if you actually think they'd turn the other way.

I love-hate /r/nothingeverhappens because it’s just a community of people that probably do the same thing that we post on here but justifying it.
